Exodus 11
1 And the Lord said unto Moses, Yet one plague more will I bring upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; after that he will let you go hence: when he doth let you go, he shall surely thrust you out altogether from here.
Y ÉL SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Enviaré otro castigo sobre Faraón y sobre Egipto; después de eso él te dejará ir; y cuando él te deje ir, no mantendrá a uno de ustedes de regreso, sino que los enviará por la fuerza.
2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let them ask every man of his neighbor, and every woman of her neighbor, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold.
Así que ve ahora y ordena a la gente que cada hombre y cada mujer debe obtener de sus vecinos adornos de plata y de oro.
3 And the Lord gave the people favor in the eyes of the Egyptians; also the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the eyes of Pharaoh's servants, and in the eyes of the people.
Y el Señor le dio gracia al pueblo a los ojos de los egipcios. Para el hombre, Moisés fue muy honrado en la tierra de Egipto, por los siervos de Faraón y el pueblo.
4 And Moses said, Thus hath said the Lord, About midnight will I go out in the midst of Egypt:
Y dijo Moisés: Así dice el Señor: A la medianoche saldré por en medio de Egipto.
5 And there shall die every first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that is to sit upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maid-servant that is behind the mill; and every first-born of cattle.
Y vendrá la muerte al primer hijo varón de toda madre en toda la tierra de Egipto, desde el hijo de Faraón en su asiento de poder, hasta el hijo de la criada que trilla el grano; y los primeros nacimientos de todo el ganado.
6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, the like of which hath never been, and the like of which will not be any more.
Y se lanzará un gran clamor por toda la tierra de Egipto, como nunca ha sido ni volverá a suceder.
7 But against any of the children of Israel not a dog shall move his tongue, neither against man nor beast; in order that ye may know how that the Lord doth distinguish between the Egyptians and Israel.
Pero contra los hijos de Israel, hombres o bestias, ni aun la lengua de un perro se moverá: para que veas cómo el Señor hace una división entre Israel y los egipcios.
8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow themselves down unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that followeth thee; and after that I will go out: and he went out from Pharaoh in a burning anger.
Y vendrán a mí todos estos tus siervos, y se postrarán sobre sus rostros delante de mí, y dirán: Sal, y todo tu pueblo contigo, y después de esto yo saldré. Y se fue de Faraón ardiendo de ira.
9 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh will not hearken unto you; in order that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Faraón no te escuchará, para que mis maravillas se multipliquen en la tierra de Egipto.
10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; and the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
Todas estas maravillas hicieron Moisés y Aarón delante de Faraón; pero él Señor endureció el corazón de Faraón, y no dejó ir a los hijos de Israel de su tierra.
