Deuteronomy 34
1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mount of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is before Jericho; and the Lord showed him all the land [from] Gil'ad unto Dan,
Subió Moisés desde las campiñas de Moab al monte Nebo, a la cumbre del Fasga, que está frente a Jericó; y Yahvé le mostró el país entero: de Galaad hasta Dan,
2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Menasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the western sea.
y todo Neftalí, y la tierra de Efraím y de Manasés, y toda la tierra de Judá, hasta el mar occidental;
3 And the south, and the plain, the valley of Jericho, the city of palm-trees, unto Zoar.
el Négueb, y la vega del valle de Jericó, ciudad de las palmas, hasta Segor.
4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it: I have let thee see it with thy eyes, but thither shalt thou not go over.
Y le dijo Yahvé: “Esta es la tierra respecto de la cual juré a Abrahán, a Isaac y a Jacob, diciendo: A tu descendencia se la daré. Te la hago ver con tus ojos, mas no entrarás en ella.”
5 And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the order of the Lord.
Allí murió Moisés, siervo de Yahvé en el país de Moab, según había dispuesto Yahvé.
6 And he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-peor; but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
Y Él lo enterró en un valle en el país de Moab, frente a Bet-Fegor; y nadie hasta hoy ha sabido su sepulcro.
7 And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died; his eye was not dimmed, and his natural force had not abated.
Tenía Moisés ciento y veinte años cuando murió; y no se había ofuscado su ojo, ni se había perdido su vigor.
8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days; and then were ended the days of weeping and mourning for Moses.
Los hijos de Israel lloraron a Moisés en las campiñas de Moab durante treinta días; y así se cumplieron los días de llanto en el duelo por Moisés.
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him; and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
Josué, hijo de Nun, estaba lleno del espíritu de sabiduría, porque Moisés había puesto sus manos sobre él. Le obedecieron los hijos de Israel, e hicieron como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
10 And there arose not a prophet since then in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
No se ha levantado otro profeta en Israel como Moisés, con quien Yahvé tratase cara a cara;
11 In respect to all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord had sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
ni en cuanto a todas las señales y maravillas que Yahvé le mandó hacer en el país de Egipto, contra el Faraón, sus siervos y todo su país,
12 And in respect to all that mighty hand, and in all the great terrific deeds which Moses displayed before the eyes of all Israel.
ni en cuanto a todas las obras poderosas y terribles prodigios que Moisés hizo a la vista de todo Israel.
