Deuteronomy 34
1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mount of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is before Jericho; and the Lord showed him all the land [from] Gil'ad unto Dan,
Potem Mojżesz wstąpił z równin Moabu na górę Nebo, na szczyt Pizga, który jest naprzeciw Jerycha. I PAN pokazał mu całą ziemię, od Gileadu aż po Dan;
2 And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Menasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the western sea.
I całą ziemię Neftalego, ziemię Efraima i Manassesa oraz całą ziemię Judy aż po Morze Zachodnie;
3 And the south, and the plain, the valley of Jericho, the city of palm-trees, unto Zoar.
I [stronę] południową, i równinę doliny Jerycha, miasta palm aż po Soar.
4 And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I swore unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it: I have let thee see it with thy eyes, but thither shalt thou not go over.
Wtedy PAN mu powiedział: To jest ziemia, którą poprzysiągłem Abrahamowi, Izaakowi i Jakubowi, mówiąc: Dam ją twemu potomstwu. Pozwoliłem ci ją zobaczyć na własne oczy, ale do niej nie wejdziesz.
5 And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the order of the Lord.
Tam właśnie umarł Mojżesz, sługa PANA, w ziemi Moabu, według słowa PANA.
6 And he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth-peor; but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
I pogrzebał go w dolinie, w ziemi Moabu, naprzeciw Bet-Peor, a nikt nie zna jego grobu aż po dziś dzień.
7 And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died; his eye was not dimmed, and his natural force had not abated.
Mojżesz miał sto dwadzieścia lat, gdy umarł. Jego wzrok nie był przyćmiony i jego siła go nie opuściła.
8 And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days; and then were ended the days of weeping and mourning for Moses.
I synowie Izraela opłakiwali Mojżesza na równinach Moabu przez trzydzieści dni. Potem skończyły się dni płaczu i żałoby po Mojżeszu.
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him; and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
A Jozue, syn Nuna, był pełen ducha mądrości, bo Mojżesz włożył na niego swoje ręce. I synowie Izraela byli mu posłuszni i czynili tak, jak PAN nakazał Mojżeszowi.
10 And there arose not a prophet since then in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
I nie powstał już prorok w Izraelu równy Mojżeszowi, którego PAN znał twarzą w twarz;
11 In respect to all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord had sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
We wszystkich znakach i cudach, dla których PAN posłał go, by je czynił w ziemi Egiptu [wobec] faraona, wszystkich jego sług i całej jego ziemi;
12 And in respect to all that mighty hand, and in all the great terrific deeds which Moses displayed before the eyes of all Israel.
I we wszystkich [sprawach] potężnej ręki, i w całej wielkiej grozie, którą Mojżesz wywołał na oczach całego Izraela.
