Deuteronomy 33
1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel before his death.
Esta é a bênção com a qual Moisés, o homem de Deus, abençoou os filhos de Israel antes de sua morte.
2 And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them: he shone forth from mount Paran, and he came from among myriads of saints; from his right hand he gave a fiery law unto them.
disse ele, “Yahweh veio do Sinai, e se levantou de Seir para eles. Ele brilhou desde o Monte Paran. Ele veio dos dez mil santos. À sua direita estava uma lei ardente para eles.
3 Yea, thou also lovedst the tribes; all their saints were in thy hand; and they, prostrate before thy feet, received thy words.
Sim, ele ama o povo. Todos os seus santos estão em suas mãos. Eles se sentaram a seus pés. Cada um recebe suas palavras.
4 “The law which Moses commanded us, is the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.”
Moisés nos ordenou uma lei, uma herança para a assembléia de Jacob.
5 Thus became he king in Yeshurun, when the heads of the people were assembled, as one the tribes of Israel.
Ele foi rei em Jeshurun, quando as cabeças do povo estavam reunidas, todas as tribos de Israel juntas.
6 May Reuben live, and not die; and may not his men be few.
“Deixe Reuben viver, e não morrer; Nem deixe seus homens serem poucos”.
7 And this is [the blessing] of Judah, and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let the power of his hands contend for him; and be thou a help to him from his adversaries.
Isto é para Judah. Ele disse, “Ouve, Yahweh, a voz de Judá. Traga-o ao seu povo. Com suas mãos, ele lutou por si mesmo. Você será uma ajuda contra seus adversários”.
8 And of Levi he said, Thy Thummim and thy Urim are with thy holy man, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
Sobre Levi, disse ele, “Seu Thummim e seu Urim estão com seu piedoso, que você provou no Massah, com quem você lutou nas águas do Meribah.
9 Who said of his father and of his mother, I have not seen him; and who did not acknowledge his brothers, nor regarded his own children; for they observe thy word, and thy covenant they keep.
Ele disse de seu pai, e de sua mãe: “Eu não o vi”. Ele não reconheceu seus irmãos, nem conhecia seus próprios filhos; pois eles cumpriram sua palavra, e mantenha seu convênio.
10 They shall teach thy ordinances unto Jacob, and thy law unto Israel: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt-sacrifice upon thy altar.
Eles ensinarão a Jacob suas ordenanças, e Israel, sua lei. Eles deverão colocar incenso diante de você, e toda a oferta queimada em seu altar.
11 Bless, O Lord, his substance, and receive favorably the work of his hands: crush the loins of those that rise up against him, and those that hate him, that they cannot rise again.
Yahweh, abençoe suas habilidades. Aceitar o trabalho de suas mãos. Ataque nos quadris daqueles que se levantam contra ele, daqueles que o odeiam, que não se levantem novamente”.
12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord [is he], he shall dwell in safety by him: he will shield him all the day long, and between his shoulders will he dwell.
Sobre Benjamin, disse ele, “O amado de Yahweh viverá em segurança por ele. Ele o cobre durante todo o dia. Ele mora entre seus ombros”.
13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, through the precious gift of heaven, through the dew, and through the deep that coucheth beneath,
Sobre Joseph, disse ele, “Sua terra é abençoada por Javé”, para as coisas preciosas do céu, para o orvalho, para as profundezas que se situam abaixo,
14 And through the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and through the precious things put forth by the moon,
para as coisas preciosas dos frutos do sol, para as coisas preciosas que a lua pode render,
15 And through the best things of the ancient mountains, and through the precious things of the everlasting hills,
for as melhores coisas das montanhas antigas, para as coisas preciosas das colinas eternas,
16 And through the precious things of the earth and its fulness, and through the goodwill of him that dwelt in the thorn-bush: may this blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the head of him that was separated from his brothers.
para as coisas preciosas da terra e sua plenitude, a boa vontade daquele que viveu no mato. Que isto venha sobre a cabeça de José, na coroa da cabeça daquele que foi separado de seus irmãos.
17 His first-born steer is adorned with glory, and his horns are like the horns of reem; with them shall he push nations together to the ends of the earth: and they are the myriads of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh.
A majestade pertence ao primogênito de seu rebanho. Seus chifres são os chifres do boi selvagem. Com eles, ele empurrará todos os povos até os confins do mundo. Eles são os dez mil de Efraim. Eles são os milhares de Manasseh”.
18 And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
Sobre Zebulun, ele disse, “Alegre-se, Zebulun, em sua saída”; e Issachar, em suas tendas.
19 They will call the tribes unto the mountain; there will they offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they will suck the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid in the sand.
Eles chamarão os povos para a montanha. Lá eles oferecerão sacrifícios de retidão, pois eles irão extrair a abundância dos mares, os tesouros escondidos da areia”.
20 And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: like a lioness lieth he down, and teareth off the arm with the crown of the head.
About Gad disse ele, “Aquele que amplia Gad é abençoado. Ele habita como uma leoa, e rasga o braço e a coroa da cabeça.
21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there is the field of the law-giver, of the hidden; and he went forth at the head of the people: he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.
Ele forneceu a primeira parte para si mesmo, para a parte do legislador foi reservada para ele. Ele veio com a cabeça do povo. Ele executou a justiça de Yahweh, Suas ordenanças com Israel”.
22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp, that leapeth forth from Bashan.
Sobre Dan, ele disse, “Dan é um filhote de leão que salta de Bashan”.
23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord, take thou possession of the west and the south.
About Naftali, disse ele, “Naftali, satisfeito com o favor, cheio da bênção de Yahweh, Possuir o oeste e o sul”.
24 And of Asher he said, More than [all] the children be Asher blessed: he shall be the most favored of his brethren, and bathe his foot in oil.
Sobre Asher, disse ele, “Asher é abençoado com crianças. Que ele seja aceitável para seus irmãos. Deixe-o mergulhar seu pé em óleo.
25 Iron and copper shall be thy bolts; and as thy [younger] days so shall thy old age be.
Suas barras serão de ferro e bronze. Como seus dias, assim será sua força.
26 There is none like unto the God of Yeshurun, who rideth to help thee upon the heavens, and in his excellency upon the skies.
“Não há ninguém como Deus, Jeshurun, que cavalga sobre os céus para sua ajuda, em sua excelência sobre os céus.
27 Thy refuge is the eternal God, and here beneath, the everlasting arms; and he thrust out the enemy from before thee; and he said, Destroy.
O Deus eterno é a sua morada. Por baixo estão os braços eternos. Ele expulsou o inimigo de antes de você, e disse: “Destrua!”.
28 And then dwelt Israel in safety, alone, the fountain of Jacob; in a land of corn and wine; also its heavens shall drop down dew.
Israel habita em segurança, só a fonte de Jacob, Em uma terra de grãos e vinho novo. Sim, seu orvalho cai do céu.
29 Happy art thou, O Israel! who is like unto thee, O people, saved by the Lord, the Shield of thy help, and who is the Sword of thy excellency! and thy enemies shall fawn upon thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high-places.
Você está feliz, Israel! Quem é como você, um povo salvo por Javé, o escudo de sua ajuda, a espada de sua excelência? Seus inimigos se submeterão a você. Você pisará em seus lugares altos”.
