< Deuteronomy 33 >

1 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses, the man of God, blessed the children of Israel before his death.
Awa ndi madalitso amene Mose, munthu wa Mulungu, anawapereka kwa Aisraeli asanafe.
2 And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them: he shone forth from mount Paran, and he came from among myriads of saints; from his right hand he gave a fiery law unto them.
Iye anati: “Yehova anabwera kuchokera ku Sinai ndipo anatulukira kuchokera ku Seiri; anawala kuchokera pa Phiri la Parani. Iye anabwera ndi chiwunyinji cha angelo kuchokera kummwera, moto woyaka uli mʼdzanja mwake.
3 Yea, thou also lovedst the tribes; all their saints were in thy hand; and they, prostrate before thy feet, received thy words.
Ndithu ndinu amene mumakonda anthu anu; opatulika ake onse ali mʼmanja mwake. Onse amagwada pansi pa mapazi anu kuchokera kwa inu amalandira malangizo,
4 “The law which Moses commanded us, is the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.”
malamulo amene Mose anatipatsa, chuma chopambana cha mtundu wa Yakobo.
5 Thus became he king in Yeshurun, when the heads of the people were assembled, as one the tribes of Israel.
Iye anali mfumu ya Yesuruni pamene atsogoleri a anthu anasonkhana, pamodzi ndi mafuko a Israeli.
6 May Reuben live, and not die; and may not his men be few.
“Lolani Rubeni akhale ndi moyo ndipo asafe, anthu ake asachepe pa chiwerengero.”
7 And this is [the blessing] of Judah, and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let the power of his hands contend for him; and be thou a help to him from his adversaries.
Ndipo ponena za Yuda anati: “Inu Yehova, imvani kulira kwa Yuda; mubweretseni kwa anthu ake. Ndi manja ake omwe adziteteze yekha. Inu khalani thandizo lake polimbana ndi adani ake!”
8 And of Levi he said, Thy Thummim and thy Urim are with thy holy man, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
Za fuko la Alevi anati: “Tumimu wanu ndi Urimu ndi za mtumiki wanu wokhulupirika. Munamuyesa ku Masa; munalimbana naye ku madzi a ku Meriba.
9 Who said of his father and of his mother, I have not seen him; and who did not acknowledge his brothers, nor regarded his own children; for they observe thy word, and thy covenant they keep.
Iye ananena za abambo ake ndi amayi ake kuti, ‘Sindilabadira za iwo.’ Sanasamale za abale ake kapena ana ake, koma anayangʼanira mawu anu ndipo anateteza pangano lanu.
10 They shall teach thy ordinances unto Jacob, and thy law unto Israel: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt-sacrifice upon thy altar.
Iye amaphunzitsa Yakobo malangizo anu ndi malamulo anu kwa Israeli. Amafukiza lubani pamaso panu ndiponso amapereka nsembe zanu zonse zopsereza pa guwa lanu.
11 Bless, O Lord, his substance, and receive favorably the work of his hands: crush the loins of those that rise up against him, and those that hate him, that they cannot rise again.
Inu Yehova, dalitsani luso lake lonse ndipo mukondwere ndi ntchito za manja ake. Menyani adani awo mʼchiwuno kanthani amene amuwukira kuti asadzukenso.”
12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord [is he], he shall dwell in safety by him: he will shield him all the day long, and between his shoulders will he dwell.
Za fuko la Benjamini anati: “Wokondedwa wa Yehova akhale mwamtendere mwa Iye, pakuti amamuteteza tsiku lonse, ndipo amene Yehova amamukonda amawusa pa mapewa ake.”
13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, through the precious gift of heaven, through the dew, and through the deep that coucheth beneath,
Za fuko la Yosefe anati: “Yehova adalitse dziko lake ndi mame ambiri ochokera kumwamba ndiponso madzi ambiri ochokera pansi pa nthaka;
14 And through the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and through the precious things put forth by the moon,
ndi zinthu zambiri zimene zimacha ndi dzuwa ndiponso ndi zokolola zabwino kwambiri zimene zimacha ndi mwezi uliwonse;
15 And through the best things of the ancient mountains, and through the precious things of the everlasting hills,
ndi zipatso zabwino kwambiri zochokera mʼmapiri amakedzanawa ndiponso zokolola zochuluka zochokera ku zitunda zakalekale;
16 And through the precious things of the earth and its fulness, and through the goodwill of him that dwelt in the thorn-bush: may this blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the head of him that was separated from his brothers.
ndi mphatso zabwino kwambiri zochokera pa dziko lapansi ndi zonse zimene zili mʼmenemo ndiponso kukoma mtima kwa Iye amene amakhala mʼchitsamba choyaka moto. Madalitso onsewa akhale pa mutu pa Yosefe, wapaderadera pakati pa abale ake.
17 His first-born steer is adorned with glory, and his horns are like the horns of reem; with them shall he push nations together to the ends of the earth: and they are the myriads of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Menasseh.
Ulemerero wake uli ngati ngʼombe yayimuna yoyamba kubadwa; nyanga zake zili ngati za njati. Ndi nyanga zakezo adzapirikitsa anthu a mitundu ina, ngakhale iwo amene akukhala ku malekezero a dziko lapansi. Nyanga zimenezi ndiye anthu miyandamiyanda a Efereimu; nyanga zimenezi ndiye anthu 1,000 a Manase.”
18 And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
Za fuko la Zebuloni anati: “Kondwera Zebuloni, pamene ukutuluka, ndipo iwe, Isakara, kondwera mʼmatenti ako.
19 They will call the tribes unto the mountain; there will they offer sacrifices of righteousness; for they will suck the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid in the sand.
Adzayitanira mitundu ya anthu kumapiri, kumeneko adzaperekako nsembe zachilungamo; kumeneko adzadyerera zinthu zochuluka zochokera ku nyanja, chuma chobisika mu mchenga.”
20 And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: like a lioness lieth he down, and teareth off the arm with the crown of the head.
Za fuko la Gadi anati: “Wodala amene amakulitsa malire a Gadi! Gadi amakhala kumeneko ngati mkango, kukhadzula mkono kapena mutu.
21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there is the field of the law-giver, of the hidden; and he went forth at the head of the people: he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.
Iye anadzisankhira dziko labwino kwambiri; gawo la mtsogoleri anasungira iye. Pamene atsogoleri a anthu anasonkhana, anachita chifuniro cha Yehova molungama, ndiponso malamulo onena za Israeli.”
22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp, that leapeth forth from Bashan.
Za fuko la Dani anati: “Dani ndi mwana wamkango, amene akutuluka ku Basani.”
23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord, take thou possession of the west and the south.
Za fuko la Nafutali anati: “Nafutali wadzaza ndi kukoma mtima kwa Yehova ndipo ndi wodzaza ndi madalitso ake; cholowa chake chidzakhala mbali ya kummwera kwa nyanja.”
24 And of Asher he said, More than [all] the children be Asher blessed: he shall be the most favored of his brethren, and bathe his foot in oil.
Za fuko la Aseri anati: “Mwana wodalitsika kwambiri ndi Aseri; abale ake amukomere mtima, ndipo asambe mapazi ake mʼmafuta.
25 Iron and copper shall be thy bolts; and as thy [younger] days so shall thy old age be.
Zotsekera za zipata zako zidzakhala za chitsulo ndi za mkuwa, ndi mphamvu zako zidzakhala ngati masiku a moyo wako.
26 There is none like unto the God of Yeshurun, who rideth to help thee upon the heavens, and in his excellency upon the skies.
“Palibe wina wofanana ndi Mulungu wa Yesuruni, amene amakwera pa thambo kukuthandizani ndiponso pa mitambo ya ulemerero wake.
27 Thy refuge is the eternal God, and here beneath, the everlasting arms; and he thrust out the enemy from before thee; and he said, Destroy.
Mulungu wamuyaya ndiye pothawirapo pathu, ndipo pa dziko lapansi amakusungani ndi mphamvu zosatha. Adzathamangitsa patsogolo panu mdani wanu, adzanena kuti, ‘Muwonongeni!’
28 And then dwelt Israel in safety, alone, the fountain of Jacob; in a land of corn and wine; also its heavens shall drop down dew.
Motero Israeli adzakhala yekha mwamtendere; zidzukulu za Yakobo zili pa mtendere mʼdziko la tirigu ndi vinyo watsopano, kumene thambo limagwetsa mame.
29 Happy art thou, O Israel! who is like unto thee, O people, saved by the Lord, the Shield of thy help, and who is the Sword of thy excellency! and thy enemies shall fawn upon thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high-places.
Iwe Israeli, ndiwe wodala! Wofanana nanu ndani anthu opulumutsidwa ndi Yehova? Iye ndiye chishango ndi mthandizi wanu ndi lupanga lanu la ulemerero. Adani ako adzakugonjera, ndipo iwe udzapondereza pansi malo awo achipembedzo.”
