Deuteronomy 23
1 He that is wounded in the testicles, or hath his privy member cut, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord.
Nie wnijdzie wypukły, ani trzebieniec do zgromadzenia Pańskiego.
2 One born from prohibited connections shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even the tenth generation of him shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord.
Ani wnijdzie niepoczciwego łoża syn do zgromadzenia Pańskiego, i dziesiąte pokolenie jego nie wnijdzie do zgromadzenia Pańskiego.
3 An 'Ammonite and a Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even the tenth generation of him shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord, for ever;
Nie wnijdzie też Ammonita, i Moabczyk do zgromadzenia Pańskiego, ani dziesiąte pokolenie ich nie wnijdzie do zgromadzenia Pańskiego, aż na wieki;
4 For the reason, that they met you not with bread and with water on the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because he hired against thee Bil'am the son of Beor of Pethor in Mesopotamia, to curse thee;
Dla tego, że wam nie zabieżeli z chlebem, ani z wodą w drodze, gdyście szli z Egiptu, a że najęli za zapłatę przeciw tobie Balaama, syna Beorowego, z Pethor Mesopotamii Syryjskiej, aby cię przeklinał.
5 But the Lord thy God would not hearken unto Bil'am; and the Lord thy God changed unto thee the curse into a blessing, because the Lord thy God loved thee.
Acz nie chciał Pan, Bóg twój, wysłuchać Balaama, ale obrócił Pan, Bóg twój, tobie jego przeklęstwo w błogosławieństwo; bo cię umiłował Pan, Bóg twój.
6 Thou shalt not seek their peace and their welfare all thy days, for ever.
Nie szukaj pokoju ich, ani dobrego ich, po wszystkie dni twoje na wieki.
7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother; thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
Nie będziesz się brzydził Idumejczykiem, bo bratem twoim jest; nie będziesz się brzydził Egipczykiem, boś był przychodniem w ziemi jego.
8 The children that are born unto them in the third generation, may enter of them into the congregation of the Lord.
Synowie, którzy się im zrodzą w trzeciem pokoleniu, wnijdą do zgromadzenia Pańskiego.
9 When thou goest forth into camp against thy enemies, then keep thyself from every evil thing.
Gdy się ruszysz z wojskiem naprzeciwko nieprzyjaciołom twoim, strzeż się od wszelkiej złej rzeczy.
10 If there be among thee any man, that is not clean by reason of an occurrence by night; then shall he go abroad to without the camp, he shall not come within the camp;
Jeźliby był między wami kto, coby był nieczystym z przygody nocnej, wynijdzie za obóz, a nie wróci się do niego.
11 But it shall be, that toward evening he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun goeth down, he may come into the midst of the camp.
A ku wieczorowi omyje się wodą, a po zajściu słońca wnijdzie do obozu.
12 And a place shalt thou have without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
Będziecie też mieli miejsce za obozem, gdzie będziecie wychodzili na potrzebę przyrodzoną;
13 And a spade shalt thou have with thy weapons: and it shall be, when thou sittest abroad, that thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt afterward cover that which cometh from thee;
I będziesz miał rydlik między naczyniem swojem; a gdybyś chciał usiąść dla potrzeby, wykopiesz nim dołek, a obróciwszy się, zagrzebiesz plugastwo twoje.
14 For the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee and to give up thy enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy; that he see no unseemly thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
Albowiem Pan, Bóg twój, chodzi w pośrodku obozu twego, aby cię wyrwał, i podał ci nieprzyjacioły twoje; przetoż niech będzie obóz twój święty, aby nie widział przy tobie sprosności jakiej, dla której by się odwrócił od ciebie.
15 Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant who may escape unto thee from his master;
Nie wydasz sługi panu jego, któryby się uciekł do ciebie od pana swego.
16 With thee shall he dwell, in the midst of thee, in the place which he may choose in any one of thy gates, where it seemeth best to him: thou shalt not oppress him.
Z tobą będzie mieszkał w pośrodku ciebie, na miejscu, które sobie obierze w jednem z miast twoich, gdzieby mu się podobało; nie uczynisz mu gwałtu.
17 There shall not be a prostitute of the daughters of Israel, and there shall not be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
Nie będzie nierządnica z córek Izraelskich, ani będzie nierządnik z synów Izraelskich.
18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow; for both of these are equally an abomination unto the Lord thy God.
Nie wnoś zapłaty nierządnicy, ani zapłaty psa w dom Pana, Boga twego, za jakikolwiek ślub; bo obrzydliwością u Pana, Boga twego, jest to oboje.
19 Thou shalt not take interest from thy brother, interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of any thing that is lent upon interest:
Nie dasz na lichwę bratu twemu, ani pieniędzy, ani żywności, ani jakiejkolwiek rzeczy, którą dawają na lichwę.
20 From an alien thou mayest take interest; but from thy brother thou shalt not take interest; in order that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the acquisition of thy hand, in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
Cudzoziemcowi na lichwę dawać możesz; ale bratu twemu na lichwę nie dasz, abyć błogosławił Pan, Bóg twój, w każdej sprawie, do której ściągniesz rękę twoję w ziemi, do której wnijdziesz, abyś ją posiadł.
21 When thou makest a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not delay to pay it; for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
Jeźlibyś ślubował ślub Panu, Bogu twemu, nie omieszkiwajże oddawać go; bo koniecznie upomni się go Pan, Bóg twój, od ciebie, a będzie na tobie grzech.
22 But if thou forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
A jeźli nie będziesz ślubował, nie będzie na tobie grzechu.
23 What is gone out of thy lips shalt thou keep and perform, as thou hast vowed unto the Lord thy God voluntarily, as thou hast spoken with thy mouth.
To co wynijdzie z ust twoich, wypełnisz, i uczynisz, jakoś ślubował Panu, Bogu twemu, dobrowolnie, coś wymówił usty twemi.
24 When thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, thou mayest eat grapes at thy own pleasure, till thou have enough; but into thy vessel shalt thou not put any.
Gdy wnijdziesz do winnicy bliźniego twego, jedz jagody, ileć się podoba, aż do sytości; ale do naczynia twego nie bierz.
25 When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbor, thou mayest pluck ears with thy hand; but a sickle shall thou not move over thy neighbor's standing corn.
Także gdy wnijdziesz między zboże bliźniego twego, tedy narwiesz kłosów ręką twą; ale sierpa nie zapuszczaj w zboże bliźniego twego.
