Deuteronomy 22
1 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his lamb go astray, and withdraw thyself from them: thou shalt surely bring them back again unto thy brother.
Ιδών τον βουν του αδελφού σου ή το πρόβατον αυτού πλανώμενον, μη παραβλέψης αυτά· θέλεις εξάπαντος επιστρέψει αυτά εις τον αδελφόν σου.
2 But if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or thou know him not: then shalt thou take it unto thy own house, and it shall remain with thee until thy brother inquire after it, and then shalt thou restore it to him.
Και εάν ο αδελφός σου δεν κατοική πλησίον σου, ή εάν δεν γνωρίζης αυτόν, τότε θέλεις φέρει αυτά εντός της οικίας σου, και θέλουσιν είσθαι μετά σου εωσού ζητήση αυτά ο αδελφός σου· και θέλεις αποδώσει αυτά εις αυτόν.
3 In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and in like manner shalt thou do with his raiment; and in like manner shalt thou do with every lost thing of thy brother's, which may have been lost to him, and which thou hast found; thou art not at liberty to withdraw thyself.
Ούτω θέλεις κάμει και διά τον όνον αυτού· ούτω θέλεις κάμει και διά το ιμάτιον αυτού· ούτω θέλεις κάμει και διά πάντα τα χαμένα πράγματα του αδελφού σου· όσα έχασε, και συ εύρες αυτά· δεν δύνασαι να παραβλέψης αυτά.
4 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fallen down by the way, and withdraw thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.
Ιδών τον όνον του αδελφού σου ή τον βουν αυτού πεσμένον εν τη οδώ, μη παραβλέψης αυτά· θέλεις εξάπαντος σηκώσει αυτά μετ' αυτού.
5 A woman shall not have upon her the apparel of a man, and a man shall not put on a woman's garment; for an abomination unto the Lord thy God are all who do this.
Η γυνή δεν θέλει φορέσει το ανήκον εις άνδρα, ουδέ ο ανήρ θέλει ενδυθή στολήν γυναικός· επειδή πάντες οι πράττοντες ούτως είναι βδέλυγμα εις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου.
6 If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way, on any tree, or on the ground, with young ones, or with eggs, and the mother be sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs: thou shalt not take the mother with the young;
Εάν απαντήσης καθ' οδόν έμπροσθέν σου φωλεάν πτηνού επί τινός δένδρου ή κατά γης, έχουσαν νεοσσούς ή ωά, και την μητέρα καθημένην επί τους νεοσσούς ή επί τα ωά, δεν θέλεις λάβει την μητέρα μετά των τέκνων·
7 But thou shalt surely let the mother go, and the young thou mayest take to thyself; in order that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest live many days.
θέλεις εξάπαντος απολύσει την μητέρα, τα δε τέκνα θέλεις λάβει εις σεαυτόν· διά να ευημερήσης και να μακροημερεύσης.
8 When thou buildest a new house, thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof; that thou bring not blood upon thy house, if any one were to fall from there.
Όταν οικοδομής νέαν οικίαν, θέλεις κάμει περιτείχισμα πέριξ του δώματός σου, διά να μη κάμης ένοχον αίματος την οικίαν σου, εάν πέση τις άνθρωπος απ' αυτής.
9 Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds; that the ripe fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of the vineyard, be not defiled.
Δεν θέλεις σπείρει εις τον αμπελώνα σου ετεροειδή σπέρματα· διά να μη μιανθή το γέννημα του σπόρου τον οποίον έσπειρας, και ο καρπός του αμπελώνος.
10 Thou shalt not plough with an ox and an ass together.
Δεν θέλεις αροτριάσει με βουν και όνον ομού.
11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, of woolen and linen together.
Δεν θέλεις φορεί ένδυμα σύμμικτον από μάλλινον ομού και λινάριον.
12 Thou shalt make thyself fringes upon the four corners of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.
Θέλεις κάμει εις σεαυτόν κρόσσια εις τας τέσσαρας άκρας του ενδύματός σου, με το οποίον σκεπάζεσαι.
13 If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
Εάν τις λάβη γυναίκα και εισέλθη προς αυτήν και μισήση αυτήν,
14 And he lay an accusation against her, and spread abroad an evil name upon her, and say, This woman I took [for wife], and when I came near to her, I found no tokens of virginity in her:
και δώση αφορμήν να κακολογήσωσιν αυτήν, και φέρη δυσφημίαν επ' αυτήν, και είπη, Έλαβον ταύτην την γυναίκα, και ότε προσήλθον προς αυτήν, δεν εύρηκα αυτήν παρθένον,
15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city, to the gate.
τότε ο πατήρ της νέας και η μήτηρ αυτής θέλουσι λάβει και εκφέρει προς τους πρεσβυτέρους της πόλεως, εις την πύλην, τα παρθένια της νέας·
16 And the father of the damsel shall say unto the elders, My daughter I gave unto this man for wife; but he hath conceived hatred toward her;
και ο πατήρ της νέας θέλει ειπεί προς τους πρεσβυτέρους, Την θυγατέρα μου έδωκα εις τον άνθρωπον τούτον διά γυναίκα, και αυτός μισεί αυτήν·
17 And, lo, he hath laid an accusation [against her], saying, I have found no tokens of virginity in thy daughter; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity; and they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
και ιδού, έδωκεν αφορμήν να κακολογώσιν αυτήν, λέγων, Δεν εύρηκα την θυγατέρα σου παρθένον· πλην ιδού, τα παρθένια της θυγατρός μου. Και θέλουσιν εκδιπλώσει το ιμάτιον έμπροσθεν των πρεσβυτέρων της πόλεως.
18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
Και θέλουσι λάβει οι πρεσβύτεροι της πόλεως εκείνης τον άνθρωπον και θέλουσι τιμωρήσει αυτόν·
19 And they shall amerce him in a hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel; because he hath spread abroad an evil name upon a virgin of Israel; and she shall remain his wife; he shall not be at liberty to put her away all his days.
και θέλουσι ζημιώσει αυτόν εκατόν σίκλους αργυρίου, και δώσει αυτούς εις τον πατέρα της νέας, διότι έφερε δυσφημίαν επί παρθένον Ισραηλίτιν· και θέλει είσθαι γυνή αυτού· δεν δύναται να αποβάλη αυτήν πάσας τας ημέρας αυτού.
20 But if this thing was true, there have not been found tokens of virginity in the damsel:
Εάν όμως το πράγμα τούτο ήναι αληθινόν, και δεν ευρεθή παρθένος η κόρη,
21 Then shall they lead out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die; because she hath wrought a disgraceful deed in Israel, to commit incest in her father's house; and thou shalt put away the evil from the midst of thee.
τότε θέλουσιν εκφέρει την νέαν εις την θύραν του οίκου του πατρός αυτής, και οι άνθρωποι της πόλεως αυτής θέλουσι λιθοβολίσει αυτήν με λίθους, και θέλει αποθάνει διότι έπραξεν αφροσύνην εν τω Ισραήλ, πορνεύουσα τον οίκον του πατρός αυτής· και θέλεις εξαφανίσει το κακόν εκ μέσου σου.
22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to a husband: then shall both of them die, the man that lieth with the woman, and the woman; and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.
Εάν τις ευρεθή κοιμώμενος μετά γυναικός υπάνδρου, τότε αμφότεροι θέλουσι θανατόνεσθαι, ο ανήρ ο κοιμώμενος μετά της γυναικός, και η γυνή· και θέλεις εξαφανίσει το κακόν εκ του Ισραήλ.
23 If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto a man, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her:
Εάν νέα τις παρθένος ήναι ηρραβωνισμένη μετά ανδρός, και εύρη τις αυτήν εν τη πόλει και κοιμηθή μετ' αυτής,
24 Then shall ye lead them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not [for aid] in the city; and the man, because he hath done violence to his neighbor's wife; and thou shalt put away the evil from the midst of thee.
τότε θέλετε εκφέρει αυτούς αμφοτέρους εις την πύλην της πόλεως εκείνης, και θέλετε λιθοβολήσει αυτούς με λίθους, και θέλουσιν αποθάνει· την νέαν, διότι δεν εφώναξεν, ούσα εν τη πόλει και τον άνθρωπον, διότι εταπείνωσε την γυναίκα του πλησίον αυτού· και θέλεις εξαφανίσει το κακόν εκ μέσου σου.
25 But if in the field the man should find the betrothed damsel, and the man take hold of her by force, and lie with her: then shall the man that lay with her die alone;
Αλλ' εάν τις εύρη εν αγρώ την νέαν την ηρραβωνισμένην, και ο άνθρωπος βιάση αυτήν και κοιμηθή μετ' αυτής, τότε μόνος ο άνθρωπος, ο κοιμηθείς μετ' αυτής, θέλει θανατόνεσθαι·
26 But unto the damsel shalt thou not do any thing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death; for as when a man riseth against his neighbor, and striketh him dead. even so is this matter;
εις δε την νέαν δεν θέλεις κάμει ουδέν· δεν είναι εις την νέαν αμάρτημα θανάτου· διότι καθώς όταν τις εφορμήση επί τον πλησίον αυτού και φονεύση αυτόν, ούτως είναι το πράγμα τούτο·
27 For in the field did he find her; had the betrothed damsel even cried, there would have been none to aid her.
διότι εν τω αγρώ εύρηκεν αυτήν, εφώναξεν η ηρραβωνισμένη νέα, αλλά δεν υπήρχεν ο σώζων αυτήν.
28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, who is not betrothed, and lay fast hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found:
Εάν τις εύρη νέαν παρθένον μη ηρραβωνισμένην και πιάση αυτήν και κοιμηθή μετ' αυτής, και ευρεθώσι·
29 Then shall the man who lieth with her give unto the father of the damsel fifty shekels of silver; and she shall become his wife, because he hath done violence to her, he shall not be at liberty to put her away all his days.
τότε ο άνθρωπος ο κοιμηθείς μετ' αυτής θέλει δώσει εις τον πατέρα της νέας πεντήκοντα σίκλους αργυρίου, και αυτή θέλει είσθαι γυνή αυτού· επειδή εταπείνωσεν αυτήν, δεν δύναται να αποβάλη αυτήν πάσας τας ημέρας αυτού.
30 A man shall not take his lather's wife, and he shall not uncover his father's skirt.
Δεν θέλει λάβει τις την γυναίκα του πατρός αυτού, ουδέ θέλει εκκαλύψει το συγκάλυμμα του πατρός αυτού.
