Deuteronomy 19
1 When the Lord thy God shall have cut off the nations, whose land the Lord thy God giveth thee, and thou hast driven them out, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses:
Hina Gode da dunu fi amo da wali soge amo E da dilima iaha amo ganodini esala, amo E da gugunufinisimu. Amasea, dilia da ilia moilai bai bagade amola ilia diasu huluane lale, amo ganodini fimu.
2 Then shalt thou set apart three cities for thyself, in the midst of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it.
3 Thou shalt put in order for thyself the [way to them], and divide into three parts the territory of thy land, which the Lord thy God will give thee to inherit, and it shall serve, that every man-slayer may flee thither.
Amo fa: no, dilia da amo soge fifili, soge udiana agoane ilegema. Amo udiana afae afae soge dogoa ganodini moilai bai bagade afae ilegema. Amasea, dunu da mae ougili giadofale dunu eno medole legesea, e da hehenane amo moilai bai bagade ganodini gaga: su ba: mu.
4 And this is the case of the man-slayer, who shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso smiteth his neighbor without knowledge, when he hath not been an enemy to him in time past;
Dunu afae da dunu eno ema ha lai dunu hame be dunu eno mae ougili giadofale medole legesea, e da amo moilaiga hobeale ahoasea, gaga: su ba: mu.
5 And he that goeth into the forest with his neighbor to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the iron slippeth from the helve, and striketh his neighbor, that he die: this one shall flee unto one of these cities, and live;
Fedege sia: agoane, dunu aduna da iwilaga ifa aba ahoasea, afae da ifa abasea goahei ea dialuma da da: ba: ga duga: gala: le eno dunu medole legesea, ifa abasu dunu da hobeale Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade udiana amo afaega masunu da defea.
6 That the avenger of the blood pursue not the manslayer, while his heart is hot, and overtake him, because the way is long, and smite him dead; whereas he deserveth not a judgment of death, inasmuch as he was not an enemy to him in time past.
Moilai bai bagade udiana ilegemu da defea. Be moilai bai bagade afae fawane ilegesea, dunu da amoga hobeale ahoasea logo sedade ba: mu. Amasea, maga: me dabe imunu dunu da amo dunu baligisia, ougiba: le medole legemu. Be amo da defea hame. Bai amo dunu da ougiba: le o hanaiba: le ea na: iyado hame medole legei be mae ougili giadofale fawane medoi.
7 Therefore do I command thee, saying, Three cities shalt thou set apart for thyself.
Amaiba: le, na da dilima sia: sa. Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagade udiana ilegema.
8 And if the Lord thy God enlarge thy boundary, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he hath spoken to give unto thy fathers;
Dilia Hina Gode da dilia aowalali ilima ilegele sia: i defele dilia soge bu bagade hamosea, amola dilima imunu ilegele sia: i soge huluane dilima i dagosea,
9 Because thou dost keep all this commandment to do it, which I command thee this day, to love the Lord thy God, and to walk in his ways all the days: then shalt thou add for thyself three cities more, unto these three;
dilia moilai bai bagade udiana eno ilegema. (Dilia da na sia: i liligi huluane noga: le nabasea amola dilia Hina Godema asigisia amola Ea olelesu defele esalea, E da amo soge dilima imunu.)
10 That innocent blood be not shed in the midst of thy land, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and blood-guiltiness be brought upon thee.
Wadela: i hame hamosu dunu da udigili bogosa: besa: le, amola dilia da soge Hina Gode da dilima iaha amo ganodini wadela: i hame hamosu dunu udigili medole legesa: besa: le, Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilale bai bagade ilegema.
11 But if any man be an enemy to his neighbor, and he lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally so that he die, and he flee unto one of these cities:
Be dunu afae da ougiba: le amola hanaiba: le ema ha lai dunu medole legesea amola ea maga: me da ahoa, amasea e da Dabe Fasa: besa: le Gaga: su Moilai bai bagadega hi esalusu gaga: musa: ahoasea,
12 Then shall the elders of his city send and fetch him thence, and they shall deliver him into the hand of the avenger of the blood, that he may die.
amo dunu hi moilai asigilai dunu ilia da e da ilima misa: ne sia: mu. Amasea, ilia da medole bogoi dunu amo ea fi dabe iasu dunu ema imunu. Amola amo dunu da fasu dunu medole legemu.
13 Thy eye shall not look with pity on him; but thou shalt put away the [shedding of] innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.
Agoai dunuma mae asigima. Amo fasu dunu da Isala: ili fi ganodini esalumu hamedei. Dilia da hahawane hou ba: ma: ne, amo dunu medole legema.
14 Thou shalt not remove the landmark of thy neighbor, which they of old time have set, in thy inheritance which thou shalt inherit, in the land that the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it.
Dilia na: iyado dunu ea soge alalo amo mae afadenema. Amo ilegei ilia da musa: hemonega soge amo dilia Hina Gode da dilima iaha amo ganodini hamosu.
15 There shall not rise up one single witness against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: upon the evidence of two witnesses, or upon the evidence of three witnesses, must a case be established.
Dunu afae fawane da ba: i dagoiba: le, dunu da wadela: le hamoi dagoi mae sia: ma. Ba: su dunu aduna o amo idi baligi ilia da wadela: i hou hamoi ba: i dagoi sia: sea fawane fofada: ma.
16 If a witness of violence rise up against any man to testify against him for any wrong:
Be dunu afae da eno dunu gugunufinisimusa: , ogogole e da wadela: i hamoi dagoi sia: sea,
17 Then shall both the men, who have the controversy, stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges, who shall be in those days;
ela da Gode Ea ilegei sogebi amoga asili, gobele salasu dunu amola fofada: su dunu (amo esoga ilegei), ilia da amo dunu ilima fofada: mu.
18 And the judges shall inquire diligently; and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, he hath testified a falsehood against his brother:
Fofada: su dunu da amo hou noga: le fofada: mu. Be amo dunu da ogogole ea na: iyado Isala: ili dunu amo wadela: musa: sia: i dagoi ba: sea,
19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had purposed to do unto his brother; and thou shalt put away the evil from the midst of thee.
e da se nabasu amo se nabasu eno dunuma e da ogogoi defele lamu galu, amo lamu. Amasea, dilia da wadela: i hou fadegamu.
20 And those who remain shall hear, and be afraid, and shall henceforth commit no more any such evil thing in the midst of thee.
Amo hou, dunu huluane da nabimu. Amasea, ilia da beda: iba: le, agoai wadela: i hou bu hamedafa ba: mu.
21 And thy eye shall have no pity; but life [shall go] for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
Amo hou amoma mae asigima. Dunu da eno dunu medole legesea, amo dunu medole legema. E da eno ea si wadela: sea, ea si amola wadela: ma. Eno ea bese gusia, ea bese guma. Eno ea emo wadela: sea, ea emo wadela: ma.
