< Daniel 12 >

1 And at that time will Michael, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people, stand forth; and there will be a time of distress, such as hath never been since the existence of any nation, until that same time; and at that time shall thy people be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
“E kindeno Mikael, malaika maduongʼ marito jou, biro thinyore. Kindeno nobed kinde mag chandruok malich mapok one nyaka ne ogendini chak bet e piny. Ka kindeno ochopo to nores jou ma nying-gi oyud kondiki e kitap Nyasaye.
2 And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to disgrace and everlasting abhorrence.
Ji mangʼeny mane osetho nochier ka moko kuomgi chier e ngima mochwere, to moko kuomgi nochier e wichkuot kod achaya mochwere.
3 And the intelligent shall shine brilliantly like the brilliance of the expanse [of the sky]; and they that bring many to righteousness shall be like the stars, for ever and ever.
Joma riek norieny ka ler mar polo, kendo jogo mane opuonjo ji mangʼeny mondo otim gik makare norieny ka sulwe nyaka chiengʼ.
4 But thou, O Daniel, close up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end: many will roam about, yet shall knowledge be increased.
To in Daniel, um kitabuni kendo idine godok nyaka chop ndalo giko. To e ndalono ji mangʼeny nodhi koni gi koni ka gimanyo rieko.”
5 Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there were two others standing, the one on this side of the bank of the stream, and the other on that side of the bank of the stream.
Eka an Daniel nangʼicho, kendo e nyima kanyo ji mamoko ariyo nochungʼe, achiel e geng aora koni to machielo e geng aora komachielo.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
Achiel kuom ji ariyo-ka nopenjo ngʼat mane orwako law mayom mane oyudo ochungʼ ewi pi ei aora niya, “Gik malichgi biro kawo kinde marom nadi mondo gitimre?”
7 Then heard I the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; and he lifted up his right hand and his left hand unto the heavens, and swore by the Everliving One that after a time, times, and a half, and when there shall be an end to the crushing of the power of the holy people, all these things shall be ended.
Ngʼat morwakore gi law mayom mane ni e chuny pi aorano, notingʼo lwete korachwich kod lwete koracham malo kochomo polo, kendo ne awinje kokwongʼore gi Nying Jal Mangima Manyaka Chiengʼ; kowacho niya, “Odongʼ kinde maromo higni adek gi nus kendo ka sand misandogo jo-Nyasaye oserumo to noyud ka gigi duto osetimore.”
8 And I heard indeed, but I understood it not: then said I, O my lord, what shall be the end of these things?
Ne awinjo gima owacho, to ne ok angʼeyo tiendgi. Omiyo napenjo niya, “Ruodha, giko mag gigi duto biro chalo nadi?”
9 And he said, Go [thy way], Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Nodwoka niya, “Daniel, koro dhi adhiya, nikech wechegi odin kendo okan nyaka chop chiengʼ giko.
10 Many shall be selected and cleansed, and purified; but the wicked will deal wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand: but the intelligent will understand.
Ji mangʼeny ibiro pwodhi mi gidok maler kendo maonge songa, to joma richo nomed bedo maricho. Joma richo ok nowinj tiend wechegi kata achiel, to jomariek to nowinj tiendgi.
11 And from the time that the continual sacrifice will be removed, even to set up the desolating abomination, there will be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
“Chakre chiengʼ ma misengini mitimo pile nokethie, nyaka chop chiengʼ ma gima kwero makelo kethruok nochungie, nokaw higni adek gi nus kata odiechienge alufu achiel mia ariyo gi piero ochiko.
12 Happy is he that waiteth, and attaineth to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13 But thou, go [thy way] toward the end; and thou shalt rest, and arise again for thy lot at the end of the days.
“To in Daniel, sik kuom Nyasaye nyaka ndalo giko. Bangʼe initho, to achien inichier miyud pokni chiengʼ giko piny.”
