Amos 1
1 The words of 'Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he foresaw concerning Israel in the days of 'Uzziyah the king of Judah, and in the days of Jerobo'am the son of Joash the king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
Maloba ya Amosi, moko kati na babateli bibwele ya mboka Tekoa. Azwaki emoniseli ya maloba oyo na tina na mokili ya Isalaele, mibu mibale liboso ete koningana ya mabele esalema, tango Oziasi azalaki mokonzi ya Yuda, mpe Jeroboami, mwana mobali ya Joasi, azalaki mokonzi ya Isalaele.
2 And he said, The Lord will cry aloud out of Zion, and from Jerusalem will he send forth his voice; and then shall mourn the pastures of the shepherds, and then shall dry up the top of Carmel.
Alobaki: Yawe azali koganga wuta na Siona, mpe azali koloba wuta na Yelusalemi, na mongongo makasi lokola kake. Matiti ya bitando epai wapi babateli bibwele baleisaka bibwele ekokawuka, mpe songe ya ngomba Karimeli ekokawuka.
3 Thus hath said the Lord, For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, will I not turn away their punishment; because they have threshed [the inhabitants of] Gil'ad with threshing instruments of iron;
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Likolo ya masumu misato to minei ya Damasi, nakozanga te kopesa bango etumbu, pamba te bakataki-kataki bato ya Galadi na nzela ya bibende oyo etimolaka mabele mpo na kosala bilanga.
4 And I will send a fire into the house of Chazael, which shall devour the palaces of Ben-hadad.
Nakotia moto na ndako ya mokonzi Azaeli, mpe moto yango ekozikisa bandako ya mokonzi Beni-Adadi, oyo batonga makasi.
5 And I will break the bars of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitants from the valley of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of 'Eden: and the people of Syria shall be exiled unto Kir, saith the Lord.
Nakobuka ekuke ya Damasi, nakobebisa mokonzi ya bavandi ya Lubwaku ya Beti-Aveni, mpe oyo azali kokonza na Beti-Edeni; mpe bato ya Siri bakokende na bowumbu na Kiri, » elobi Yawe.
6 Thus hath said the Lord, For three transgressions of Gazzah, and for four, will I not turn away their punishment; because they carried away exiles in full numbers, to deliver them up to Edom;
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Likolo ya masumu misato to minei ya Gaza, nakozanga te kopesa bango etumbu, pamba te bamemaki bikolo ebele na bowumbu mpe batekaki bango na Edomi.
7 And I will send a fire against the wall of Gazzah, which shall devour her palaces;
Nakotia moto na bamir ya Gaza, mpe moto yango ekozikisa bandako na yango, oyo batonga makasi.
8 And I will cut off the inhabitants from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn my hand against 'Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith the Lord Eternal.
Nakoboma mokonzi ya bavandi ya Asidodi mpe oyo azali kokonza na Ashikeloni. Nakobalukela engumba Ekroni kino tango moto ya suka kati na bato ya Filisitia akokufa, » elobi Nkolo Yawe.
9 Thus hath said the Lord, For three transgressions of Tyre, and for four, will I not turn away their punishment; because they delivered up the exiles in full numbers to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant;
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Likolo ya masumu misato to minei ya Tiri, nakozanga te kopesa bango etumbu, pamba te bakabaki bato ebele na bowumbu epai ya bato ya Edomi mpe batosaki te boyokani ya bondeko.
10 And I will send a fire against the walls of Tyre, which shall devour her palaces.
Nakotia moto na bamir ya engumba Tiri, mpe moto yango ekozikisa bandako na yango, oyo batonga makasi. »
11 Thus hath said the Lord, For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, will I not turn away their punishment; because he pursued with the sword his brother, and disregarded his mercy, and his anger tore in pieces continually, and he kept his wrath for ever:
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Likolo ya masumu misato to minei ya Edomi, nakozanga te kopesa bango etumbu, pamba te balandaki bandeko na bango na mopanga, bayokelaki bango mawa te, kanda na bango ezalaki tango nyonso komata, mpe bayina bango wuta kala.
12 And I will send out a fire against Theman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.
Nakotia moto na engumba Temani, mpe moto yango ekozikisa bandako ya Botsira, oyo batonga makasi. »
13 Thus hath said the Lord, For three transgressions of the children of 'Ammon, and for four, will I not turn away their punishment; because they have ripped up the pregnant women of Gil'ad, in order to enlarge their own territory;
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi: « Likolo ya masumu misato to minei ya Amoni, nakozanga te kopesa bango etumbu, pamba te bapasolaki mabumu ya basi ya zemi ya Galadi mpo na koyeisa mokili na bango monene.
14 And I will kindle a fire within the walls of Rabbah, which shall devour her palaces, with shouting on the day of battle, with a storm on the day of the tempest;
Nakotia moto na bamir ya engumba ya Raba, mpe moto yango ekozikisa bandako na yango, oyo batonga makasi, kati na koganga na mokolo ya bitumba, kati na mopepe makasi na mokolo ya ekumbaki.
15 And their king shall go into exile, he and his princes together, saith the Lord.
Mokonzi na bango akokende na bowumbu, ye elongo na bakalaka na ye, » elobi Yawe.
