Amos 7
1 Thus did the Lord Eternal show unto me: and, behold, he was forming locusts in the beginning of the sprouting up of the latter groweth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king's mowings [was over].
১প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই মোক এই দর্শন দেখুৱালে: “চোৱা, যেতিয়া দ্বিতীয়বাৰ শস্য বাঢ়িবলৈ আৰম্ভ কৰিলে, সেই সময়ত তেওঁ কাকতি ফৰিংবোৰ সৃষ্টি কৰিছিল। ৰজাই প্রথম শস্য দোৱাৰ পাছত এইটো আছিল দ্বিতীয় শস্যৰ খেতি।
2 And it came to pass, when they had made an end of eating up the herbs of the earth, that I said, O Lord Eternal, forgive, I beseech thee: how should Jacob be able to endure, since he is so small!
২সেই কাকতি ফৰিংবোৰে যেতিয়া দেশৰ সকলো সেউজীয়া শাক-পাচলি খাই শেষ কৰি পেলাইছিল, তেতিয়া মই মিনতি কৰিলোঁ, “হে প্ৰভু যিহোৱা, অনুগ্রহ কৰি ক্ষমা কৰক; যাকোব নো কেনেকৈ জীয়াই থাকিব? তেওঁ যে অতি সৰু।”
3 The Lord bethought himself of this: It shall not be, said the Lord.
৩তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই এই বিষয়ত মন সলনি কৰি ক’লে, “এইদৰে নঘটিব।”
4 Thus did the Lord Eternal show unto me: and, behold, the Lord Eternal called forth the punishment by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and consumed the ploughed field.
৪প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই মোক এইদৰে দর্শন দিলে: যিহোৱা ঈশ্বৰে বিচাৰৰ অর্থে অগ্নিক মাতিলে। সেই অগ্নিয়ে মহাসমুদ্রক শুকুৱাই পেলালে আৰু ভূমিকো গ্ৰাস কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
5 Then said I, O Lord Eternal, forbear, I beseech thee: how should Jacob be able to endure, since he is so small!
৫তেতিয়া মই কলোঁ, “হে প্ৰভু যিহোৱা, “মই অনুৰোধ কৰিছোঁ, আপুনি ক্ষান্ত হওঁক, যাকোব নো কেনেকৈ জীয়াই থাকিব? তেওঁ যে অতি সৰু।”
6 The Lord bethought himself of this: Also this shall not be, said the Lord Eternal.
৬তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই এই বিষয়ত মন সলনি কৰি ক’লে, “এইদৰে নঘটিব।”
7 Thus he showed unto me: and, behold, the Lord was standing upon a wall [made] by a plumbline, and in his hand was a plumbline.
৭তেওঁ মোক পুনৰ এটা দর্শন দিলে: প্ৰভুৱে এডাল ওলোম-জৰী হাতত লৈ, ওলোমৰ জোখ লৈ তৈয়াৰ কৰা এটা দেৱালৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ আছিল।
8 And the Lord said unto me, What dost thou see, 'Amos? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel; I will not farther indulge them any more.
৮যিহোৱাই মোক ক’লে, “হে আমোচ, তুমি কি দেখিছা?” তেতিয়া মই কলোঁ, “এডাল ওলোম জৰী দেখিছোঁ।” তেতিয়া প্ৰভুৱে ক’লে, “চোৱা, মই মোৰ প্ৰজা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত এডাল ওলোম-জৰী ৰাখিছো।” তেওঁলোকক মই আৰু কেতিয়াও ক্ষমা নকৰিম।
9 And the high places of Isaac shall be made desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid in ruins: and I will rise up against the house of Jerobo'am with the sword.
৯ইচহাকৰ বংশৰ ওখ ঠাইৰ মঠবোৰ ধ্বংস হ’ব আৰু ইস্রায়েলৰ পূণ্যধামবোৰ উচ্ছন্ন হ’ব; মই তৰোৱাল লৈ যাৰবিয়ামৰ বংশৰ বিৰুদ্ধে উঠিম।”
10 Then sent Amazyah, the priest of Beth-el, to Jerobo'am the king of Israel, saying, 'Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.
১০তাৰ পাছত বৈৎএলৰ পুৰোহিত অমচিয়াই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা যাৰবিয়ামৰ ওচৰলৈ এই খবৰ কৈ পঠালে: “ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বংশৰ মাজত আপোনাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আমোচে চক্ৰান্ত কৰিছে; দেশৰ লোকসকলে তেওঁৰ কোনো কথা সহিব পৰা নাই।
11 For thus hath 'Amos said, By the sword shall Jerobo'am die, and Israel shall surely be led away into exile out of their own land.
১১আমোচে এই কথা কৈছে: ‘যাৰবিয়াম তৰোৱালৰ আঘাতৰ দ্বাৰাই মৃত্যু হ’ব; ইস্ৰায়েলে অৱশ্যেই নিজ দেশৰ পৰা বন্দী হৈ আন দেশলৈ যাব লাগিব’।”
12 And Amazyah said unto 'Amos, Seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and eat there [thy] bread, and there prophesy;
১২অমচিয়াই আমোচক ক’লে, “হে ভাৱবাদী, যোৱা! তুমি ইয়াৰ পৰা যিহূদা দেশলৈ গুচি যোৱা। তাতেই ভাৱবাদী হিচাবে জীৱিকা উলিওৱা আৰু তাতেই ভাৱবাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰা।
13 But at Beth-el prophesy not farther any more; for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is a royal residence.
১৩কিন্তু বৈৎএলত হলে পুনৰ ভাৱবাণী প্ৰচাৰ নকৰিবা; কিয়নো এই ঠাই ৰজাৰ পুণ্যধাম আৰু এক ৰাজকীয় মন্দিৰ।”
14 Then answered 'Amos, and said to Amazyah, I am no prophet, nor am I a prophet's son; but I am a herdman, and a gatherer of wild figs;
১৪তেতিয়া আমোচে উত্তৰ দি অমচিয়াক ক’লে, “মই ভাববাদীও নহওঁ নাইবা ভাববাদীৰ শিষ্যও নহওঁ। মই এজন পশু-ৰখীয়া আৰু ডিমৰু গছবোৰৰ ফল সংগ্ৰহ কৰোঁতা আছিলোঁ।
15 But the Lord hath taken me away from behind the flocks, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.
১৫যিহোৱাই মোক মেৰ-ছাগৰ জাক চৰোৱা কার্যৰ পৰা আনি মোক ক’লে, ‘তুমি যোৱা আৰু মোৰ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ লোকসকলৰ আগত গৈ ভাৱবাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰা’।
16 And now hear thou the word of the Lord, Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and preach not against the house of Isaac.
১৬তেনেহ’লে এতিয়া আপুনি যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনক; আপুনি কৈছে, ‘ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ভাৱবাণী প্ৰচাৰ নকৰিবা আৰু ইচহাকৰ বংশৰ বিৰুদ্ধেও প্রচাৰ নকৰিবা।’
17 Therefore thus hath said the Lord, Thy wife will play the harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided out by the line; and thou shalt die in an unclean land; and Israel shall surely be led forth into exile out of their land.
১৭সেইবাবে যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: ‘তোমাৰ ভার্যা নগৰখনৰ মাজত বেশ্যা হ’ব, তোমাৰ ল’ৰা-ছোৱালী তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰাই পতিত হ’ব, তোমাৰ মাটি জুখি জুখি আনৰ মাজত ভগাই দিয়া হ’ব; তুমি নিজেও এক অশুচি দেশত মৰিবা, ইস্ৰায়েলক নিজ দেশৰ পৰা দেশান্তৰিত হ’ব’।”
