2 Samuel 9
1 And David said, Is there yet any one that is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for the sake of Jonathan?
Y dijo David: ¿Ha quedado alguno de la casa de Saul a quién yo haga misericordia por causa de Jonatán?
2 And the house of Saul had a servant whose name was Ziba; and they called him unto David; and the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And be said, Thy servant [is it].
Y había un siervo de la casa de Saul, que se llamaba Siba, al cual como llamaron que viniese a David, el rey le dijo: ¿Eres tú Siba? Y él respondió: Tu siervo.
3 And the king said, Is there no one left any more of the house of Saul, that I may show him the kindness of God! And Ziba said unto the king, There is yet a son of Jonathan, lame on both feet.
Y el rey dijo: ¿No ha quedado nadie de la casa de Saul, a quién yo haga misericordia de Dios? Y Siba respondió al rey: Aun ha quedado un hijo de Jonatán, cojo de los pies.
4 And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of 'Ammiel, in Lo-debar.
Entonces el rey le dijo: ¿Y ese dónde está? Y Siba respondió al rey: He aquí, está en casa de Maquir, hijo de Amiel, en Lo-dabar.
5 And king David sent, and had him taken out of the house of Machir, the son of 'Ammiel, from Lo-debar.
Y envió el rey David, y tomóle de casa de Maquir, hijo de Amiel de Lo-dabar.
6 And Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came unto David, and he fell on his face, and bowed himself. And David said, Mephibosheth; And he answered, Here is thy servant!
Y venido Mifi-boset, hijo de Jonatán, hijo de Saul, a David, postróse sobre su rostro, e hízole reverencia. Y dijo David: Mifi-boset. Y él respondió: He aquí tu siervo.
7 And David said unto him, Fear not; for I will surely show thee kindness for the sake of Jonathan thy father, and I will restore unto thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.
David le dijo: No tengas temor, porque yo haré contigo misericordia por amor de Jonatán tu padre; y yo te haré volver todas las tierras de Saul tu padre, y tú comerás pan a mi mesa perpetuamente.
8 And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldst turn thy regard unto such a dead dog as I am?
Y él inclinándose, dijo: ¿Quién es tu siervo, para que mires a un perro muerto como yo soy?
9 Then called the king for Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, all that hath pertained to Saul and to all his house have I given unto thy master's son.
Entonces el rey llamó a Siba siervo de Saul, y díjole: Todo lo que fue de Saul, y de toda su casa yo lo he dado al hijo de tu señor:
10 And thou shalt till for him the land, thou, and thy sons, and thy servants, and thou shalt bring in [the product], that thy master's son may have bread which he can eat; but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat continually bread at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.
Tú pues le labrarás las tierras, tú con tus hijos, y tus siervos, y encerrarás, para que el hijo de tu señor tenga pan que comer. Y Mifi-boset el hijo de tu señor comerá pan perpetuamente a mi mesa. Y tenía Siba quince hijos y veinte siervos.
11 And Ziba said unto the king, In accordance with all that my Lord the king may command his servant, so will thy servant do. And Mephibosheth [said the king] shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.
Y respondió Siba al rey: Conforme a todo lo que ha mandado mi señor el rey a su siervo, así lo hará tu siervo. Mifi-boset, dijo el rey, comerá a mi mesa, como uno de los hijos del rey.
12 And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.
Y Mifi-boset tenía un hijo pequeño, que se llamaba Mica, y toda la familia de la casa de Siba eran siervos de Mifi-boset.
13 And Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem; for he ate continually at the king's table; and he was lame on both his feet.
Y Mifi-boset moraba en Jerusalem, porque comía perpetuamente a la mesa del rey, y era cojo de ambos pies.
