2 Samuel 7
1 And it came to pass, when the king dwelt in his house, and the Lord had given him rest round about from all his enemies;
౧యెహోవా దావీదుకు నాలుగు దిక్కులా అతని శత్రువుల మీద విజయాలు అనుగ్రహించి, నెమ్మది కలుగజేసిన తరువాత అతడు తన పట్టణంలో నివాసమున్నాడు. దావీదు నాతాను అనే ప్రవక్తను పిలిపించి,
2 That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, while the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.
౨“నేను దేవదారు చెక్కలతో కట్టిన పట్టణంలో నివసిస్తున్నాను. అయితే దేవుని మందసం గుడారంలో ఉంటున్నది” అన్నాడు.
3 And Nathan said to the king, all that is in thy heart go and do; for the Lord is with thee.
౩అప్పుడు నాతాను “యెహోవా నీకు తోడుగా ఉన్నాడు. నీకు ఎలా అనిపిస్తే అలా చెయ్యి” అన్నాడు.
4 And it came to pass during that night, That the word of the Lord came unto Nathan, saying,
౪అయితే ఆ రాత్రి యెహోవా స్వరం నాతానుకు ఇలా వినిపించింది,
5 Go and say unto my servant, unto David, Thus hath said the Lord, Wilt thou indeed build me a house for my dwelling?
౫“నువ్వు వెళ్లి నా సేవకుడైన దావీదుతో ఇలా చెప్పు, యెహోవా నీకు ఏమని చెప్పమన్నాడంటే, నేను నివసించేలా ఒక మందిరం కట్టించడానికి నువ్వు తగిన వాడవేనా?
6 For I have not dwelt in a house since the day that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even until this day; but have been moving about in a tent and in a tabernacle.
౬ఐగుప్తులో నుండి నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను బయటకు రప్పించినప్పటి నుండి నేటి వరకూ మందిరంలో నివసించకుండా డేరాలో, గుడారంలో నివసిస్తూ సంచరించాను.
7 In all the places where I moved about among all the children of Israel, did I speak a word to any one of the tribes of Israel, whom I ordained to feed my people Israel, saying, Why have ye not built for me a house of cedar?
౭ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో కలసి నేను సంచరించిన కాలమంతా నా ప్రజలను సంరక్షించమని నేను ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రా నాయకుల్లో ఎవ్వరితోనైనా దేవదారు కలపతో నాకొక మందిరం కట్టించలేకపోయారే అని ఎవ్వరితోనైనా అన్నానా?
8 Now therefore, thus shalt thou say unto my servant, to David, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, I took thee from the sheep-cote, from behind the flocks, to be a ruler over my people, over Israel;
౮కాబట్టి నువ్వు నా సేవకుడైన దావీదుతో ఇలా చెప్పు, సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా నీకు చెబుతున్నదేమిటంటే, గొర్రెల మందలు కాచుకొంటూ గొర్రెలశాల్లో ఉంటున్న నిన్ను నా ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులపై రాజుగా నియమించాను.
9 And I have been with thee whithersoever thou didst go, and I have cut off all thy enemies from thy presence, and I have made thee a great name, like the name of the great who are on the earth;
౯నువ్వు వెళ్ళిన ప్రతి స్థలం లో నీకు తోడుగా ఉన్నాను. నీ శత్రువులందరినీ నీ ముందు నిలబడకుండా నాశనం చేశాను. లోకంలో పేరు పొందిన వారికి కలిగిన కీర్తి నీకు కలుగజేశాను.
10 And I have procured a place for my people, for Israel, and I have planted them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and be no more troubled; and that the children of wickedness shall not afflict them any more as aforetimes,
౧౦నా ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఎక్కడికీ కదలనక్కర లేకుండ తమ సొంత స్థలాల్లో శాశ్వతంగా వాటిల్లో నివసించేలా వారిని స్థిరపరిచాను. నా ప్రజలైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులపై గతంలో నేను న్యాయాధిపతులను నియమించిన కాలంలో జరిగినట్టు దుష్టులైన ప్రజలు ఇకపై వారిని కష్టపెట్టకుండా ఉండేలా చేసి,
11 And [as it was] since the day that I ordained judges to be over my people Israel; and I have caused thee to rest from all thy enemies; and the Lord telleth thee that he, the Lord, will make thee a house.
౧౧నీ శత్రువులపై నీకు విజయమిచ్చి నీకు నెమ్మది కలిగేలా చేశాను. యెహోవానైన నేను నీకు చెబుతున్నదేమిటంటే, నేను నీకు సంతానం అనుగ్రహిస్తాను వారు శాశ్వతంగా పాలన చేస్తారు.
12 When thy days will be completed, and thou wilt sleep with thy fathers: then will I set up thy seed after thee, who shall proceed out of thy body, and I will establish his kingdom.
౧౨నువ్వు బతికే రోజులు ముగిసినప్పుడు నిన్ను నీ పితరులతో కలిపి పాతిపెట్టిన తరువాత నీకు జన్మించిన నీ సంతానాన్ని ఘనపరచి, రాజ్యాన్ని అతనికి స్థిరపరుస్తాను.
13 He it is that shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
౧౩అతడు నా పేరును ఘనపరిచేలా ఒక మందిరం నిర్మిస్తాడు. అతని సింహాసనాన్ని నేను నిత్యమైనదిగా స్థిరపరుస్తాను.
14 I too will be to him as a father, and he shall indeed be to me as a son: so that when he committeth iniquity, I will chastise him with the rod of men, and with the plagues of the children of man;
౧౪అతనికి తండ్రిలా ఉండి కాపాడుకుంటాను. అతడు నాకు కుమారుడుగా ఉంటాడు. అతడు తప్పు చేస్తే మనుషుల దండంతో, వారిని కొట్టే దెబ్బలతో అతణ్ణి శిక్షిస్తాను.
15 But my kindness shall not depart from him, as I caused it to depart from Saul, whom I removed from before thee.
౧౫అంతే గాని నిన్ను రాజుగా చేయడానికి నేను తోసిపుచ్చిన సౌలుకు నా కనికరం దూరం చేసినట్టు అతనికి నా కనికరాన్ని దూరం చేయను.
16 And thy house and thy kingdom shall be steadfast for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
౧౬నీకైతే నీ సంతానం, నీ రాజ్యం కలకాలం స్థిరంగా ఉంటుంది. నీ సింహాసనం అన్నివేళలా స్థిరంగా ఉంటుంది.”
17 In accordance with all these words, and in accordance with all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
౧౭తనకు కలిగిన దర్శనంలోని ఈ మాటలన్నిటినీ నాతాను దావీదుకు తెలియజేశాడు.
18 Then went king David in, and sat down before the Lord, and he said, Who am I, O Lord Eternal? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me as far as hitherward?
౧౮అప్పుడు రాజైన దావీదు లోపలికి వెళ్ళి యెహోవా సన్నిధిలో కూర్చుని ఇలా ప్రార్థించాడు. “నా ప్రభూ యెహోవా, ఇంతగా నీవు నన్ను హెచ్చించడానికి నేనెంతటివాణ్ణి? నా వంశం ఏపాటిది?
19 And this was yet too small a thing in thine eyes, O Lord Eternal; and thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a distant time. And is this the desert of man, O Lord Eternal?
౧౯నన్ను ఇంతగా హెచ్చించి నాకు చేసినదంతా నీకు స్వల్పమైన విషయం. నీ దాసుడనైన నా వంశానికి భవిషత్తులో కలగబోయే ఉన్నతిని గూర్చి నాకు వెల్లడించావు. యెహోవా, నా ప్రభూ, దావీదు అనే నేను ఇక నీతో ఏమి చెప్పుకొంటాను?
20 And what can David add yet more to speak unto thee? since thou, O Lord Eternal, knowest well thy servant?
౨౦యెహోవా నా ప్రభూ, నీ దాసుడనైన నా గురించి నీకు తెలుసు.
21 For the sake of thy word, and in accordance with thy own heart, hast thou done all this great thing, so as to let thy servant know it.
౨౧నీ మాటను బట్టి నీ చిత్తం చొప్పున ఈ గొప్ప కార్యాలు జరిగించి అవి నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు తెలియజేశావు.
22 Therefore art thou great, O Eternal God; for there is none like thee, and there is no God beside thee, in accordance with all that we have heard with our ears.
౨౨దేవా, యెహోవా, నువ్వు అనంతమైన ప్రభావం గలవాడివి. మేము విన్నదాన్ని బట్టి చూసినప్పుడు నీవు తప్ప దేవుడెవరూ లేడు.
23 And who is like thy people, like Israel, the only nation on the earth, which God went to redeem for himself as a people, and to acquire for himself a name, and to do for you this great deed, and fearful things for thy land [to drive out], from before thy people which thou hast redeemed for thyself from Egypt, nations and their gods.
౨౩నువ్వు విమోచించిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనే నీ ప్రజలవంటి వారు లోకంలో ఎక్కడా లేరు. నీ ప్రజలయ్యేలా వారిని నీవు విమోచించావు. నీకు పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతులు కలిగేలా, నీ ప్రజలను బట్టి నీ దేశం కోసం భీకరమైన గొప్పకార్యాలు చేసేలా దేవుడవైన నువ్వు ఐగుప్తు దేశంలో నుండి, ఆ జనుల వశంలో నుండి, వారి దేవుళ్ళ వశంలో నుండి విడిపించావు.
24 For thou hast established for thyself thy people Israel as a people unto thee for ever; and thou, O Lord, art indeed become their God.
౨౪యెహోవావైన నీవు వారికి దేవుడై ఉండి, వారు నిరంతరం ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అనే పేరుగల ప్రజలుగా నీ కోసం నిలిచి ఉండేలా స్థిరపరచావు.
25 And now, O Eternal God, let the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, stand firm for ever, and do as thou hast spoken.
౨౫దేవా యెహోవా, నీ దాసుడనైన నన్ను గూర్చీ, నా వంశం గూర్చీ నీవు సెలవిచ్చిన మాట ఎప్పటికీ నిలిచిపోయేలా దృఢపరచు.
26 And let thy name be magnified unto everlasting, that men may say, The Lord of hosts is the God over Israel: and may the house of thy servant David be established before thee.
౨౬‘సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు దేవుడు’ అని ప్రజలనే మాటచేత నీకు శాశ్వత మహిమ కలిగేలా నీ దాసుడనైన నా వంశం నీ సన్నిధిలో స్థిరపరచబడేలా నువ్వు సెలవిచ్చిన మాట నెరవేర్చు.
27 For thou, O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, hast revealed to the ear of thy servant, saying, A house will be built up for thee; therefore hath thy servant found the heart to pray unto thee this prayer.
౨౭ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవా, సైన్యాలకు అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా నాకు సంతానం కలిగిస్తానని నీ దాసునికి తెలియపరచావు. కాబట్టి ఈ విధంగా నీతో విన్నపం చేయడానికి నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు ధైర్యం వచ్చింది.
28 And now, O Lord Eternal, thou art the [true] God, and thy words must become the truth, and thou hast spoken unto thy servant this goodness:
౨౮యెహోవా, నా ప్రభూ, నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు మేలు దయచేస్తానని చెప్తున్నావు కదా. నువ్వు దేవుడివి కాబట్టి నీ మాటలన్నీ నిజమైనవి.
29 And now let it please thee and bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee; for thou, O Lord Eternal, hast spoken it; and from thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.
౨౯నీ దాసుడనైన నా వంశం అంతా నిత్యమూ నీ సన్నిధిలో ఉండేలా దయచేసి దీవించు. యెహోవా నా ప్రభూ, నువ్వు సెలవిచ్చినట్టు నీ దీవెనలు పొంది నా వంశం అన్నివేళలా దీవెన పొందుతుంది గాక.”
