2 Samuel 22
1 And David spoke unto the Lord the words of this song, and on the day that the Lord had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.
Đa-vít hát bài ca sau đây để ca tụng Chúa Hằng Hữu đã giải cứu mình khỏi tay quân thù:
2 And he said, Lord, my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer;
“Chúa Hằng Hữu là vầng đá và đồn lũy tôi, Đấng giải cứu tôi;
3 God, my rock, in whom I trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour! from violence dost thou save me!
Chúa Hằng Hữu là vầng đá tôi, nơi tôi được bảo vệ. Chúa là tấm khiên, là sừng cứu tôi. Lạy Đấng che chở tôi! Chính Ngài giải cứu tôi khỏi cơn hung bạo.
4 Praised, I cried, be the Lord, and from my enemies was I saved.
Tôi sẽ cầu xin với Chúa Hằng Hữu, là Đấng đáng ca ngợi, lập tức, Ngài ra tay giải cứu khỏi mọi kẻ thù.
5 For the waves of death encompassed me, the floods of destruction made me afraid;
Lưới tử vong giăng mắc quanh tôi: thác hủy diệt hung hăng gào thét.
Âm phủ thắt chặt dây oan nghiệt; lưới tử thần chằng chịt dưới chân. (Sheol h7585)
7 [When] in my distress I called upon the Lord, and to my God I cried; and he heard from his temple my voice, and my complaint [entered] into his ears.
Trong lúc hiểm nguy, tôi gọi Chân Thần; kêu van Đấng Tự Hữu Hằng Hữu. Từ Thiên Đàng nghe tôi kêu cứu; Chúa Toàn Năng lập tức ra tay:
8 Then shook and trembled the earth; the foundations of the heavens were moved; and they shook, because he was wroth.
Núi rung chuyển, lung lay. Đất bằng nổi địa chấn; vì Chúa đang cơn giận.
9 Smoke went up in his anger, and consuming fire out of his mouth, coals flamed forth from him.
Khói bay từ mũi Chúa; Miệng Ngài phun ngọn lửa. Làm than cháy đỏ hực.
10 And he bent the heavens, and came down, and thick darkness was under his feet.
Chúa xé các tầng trời và ngự xuống; chân đạp mây đen dày đặc.
11 And he rode upon a cherub, and flew along, and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
Chúa cưỡi thiên thần hộ giá bay trên cánh gió tây.
12 And he made darkness round about him into pavilions, heavy masses of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
Ngài dùng bóng tối của nước mưa và mây đen mù mịt, làm màn trướng bao quanh Ngài.
13 From the brightness before him flamed forth coals of fire.
Từ hào quang rực rỡ trên mặt Ngài, than hồng cháy rực.
14 The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered forth his voice.
Ngài cho sấm sét rền trời; tiếng của Đấng Chí Cao vang dội, tạo mưa đá, lửa hừng, gió thổi.
15 And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
Chúa bắn tên, quân thù tán loạn; hàng ngũ vỡ tan vì chớp nhoáng.
16 And then were seen the channels of the sea, there were laid open the foundations of the world; at the rebuke of the Lord, through the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
Chúa Hằng Hữu quở to, nước biển rút cạn khô, hơi thở tốc địa cầu, phô bày đáy vực.
17 He stretched out from above [his hand], he took me; he drew me out from the mighty waters.
Chúa xuống từ trời cao; kéo tôi khỏi nước sâu.
18 He delivered me from my enemy, the strong, from those that hated me, when they were too mighty for me.
Thoát kẻ thù kiêu ngạo, cường bạo và hỗn hào.
19 They overcame me on the day of my calamity; but the Lord became my stay;
Chúng tấn công con trong ngày gian truân, nhưng Chúa Hằng Hữu đã đưa tay phù hộ.
20 And he brought me forth into a large space: he delivered me, because he had delight in me.
Chúa đem tôi vào chỗ an toàn; chỉ vì tôi được Ngài ưa thích.
21 The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the purity of my hands did he recompense me.
Chúa thưởng tôi với đức công bằng; báo đền các hành vi trong sạch.
22 For I had kept the ways of the Lord, and had not wickedly departed from my God.
Tôi tuân hành điều răn Chúa dạy; không phạm tội để rồi lẩn quất.
23 For all his ordinances were before me, and from none of his statutes did I depart.
Luật pháp Ngài gần tôi mãi mãi; không một điều nào tôi sơ suất.
24 I was also upright toward him, and I guarded myself against my iniquity.
Trước mặt Đức Chúa Trời, tôi chẳng gì đáng trách; tôi đã giữ tôi khỏi tội lỗi trong đời.
25 Therefore did the Lord recompense me according to my righteousness, according to my purity before his eyes.
Chúa luôn tưởng thưởng người ngay. Những ai trong sạch được Ngài ban ân.
26 With the kind thou wilt show thyself kind; with the upright mighty man thou wilt show thyself upright.
Chúa thành tín đối với ai trung tín, trọn vẹn đối với ai thanh liêm.
27 With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the perverse thou wilt wage a contest.
Chúa ban phước cho người thánh sạch, giáng tai ương cho kẻ tham gian.
28 And the afflicted people thou wilt save; but thy eyes are upon the haughty, [that] thou mayest bring [them] down.
Chúa cứu vớt nhân dân khốn khổ, nhưng hình phạt những kẻ kiêu căng.
29 For thou art my lamp, O Lord! and the Lord will enlighten my darkness.
Chúa Hằng Hữu thắp đèn tôi sáng. Đức Chúa Trời luôn dẫn lối soi đàng.
30 For [aided] by thee I run through a troop: [helped] by my God I leap over a wall.
Nhờ sức Chúa, tôi dẹp tan quân địch; cùng với Đức Chúa Trời tôi vượt tường thành.
31 As for God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried; he is a shield to all that trust in him.
Đức Chúa Trời thật muôn phần hoàn hảo. Lời Ngài toàn Chân lý tinh thuần. Chúa vẫn là Tấm Khiên che chở, cho những ai nương náu nơi Ngài.
32 For who is God, save the Lord? and who is a rock, save our God?
Ngoài Chúa ra, chẳng có Chân Thần. Ai là Vầng Đá an toàn, ngoài Đức Chúa Trời chúng con?
33 God is my strength and power; and he rendereth free from obstruction my way.
Chúa trang bị cho tôi năng lực, Vạch con đường thẳng tắp cho tôi.
34 He maketh my feet like those of the hinds, and upon my high places he causeth me to stand.
Chân tôi bước vững vàng lanh lẹ, leo lên đỉnh núi cao an toàn. Chúa vạch cho con đường thẳng tắp, đưa tôi vào rạng rỡ vinh quang.
35 He teaches my hands for the war, so that a brazen bow is bent by my arms.
Chúa luyện tay tôi sành chinh chiến, cánh tay tôi giương nổi cung đồng.
36 And thou gavest me the shield of thy salvation; and thy assistance hath made me great.
Chúa trao tôi tấm khiên cứu rỗi; tay phải Ngài bảo vệ ẵm bồng. Chúa hạ mình nâng tôi lên hàng cao cả.
37 Thou enlargest my steps under me, so that my joints do not slip.
Trước chân tôi, mở một con đường. Nên tôi chẳng bao giờ vấp ngã.
38 I pursue my enemies and destroy them; and I return not again until I have made an end of them.
Tôi đuổi theo, bắt kịp quân thù; chỉ trở về sau khi tận diệt.
39 And I make an end of them, and I crush them, that they cannot rise; and they fall under my feet.
Tôi thấy chúng chết nằm la liệt, không tên nào cựa quậy, ngóc đầu.
40 For thou hast girded me with strength for the war; thou subduest my opponents under me.
Chúa trang bị con sức mạnh cho chiến trận, khiến quân thù phục dưới chân con.
41 And my enemies thou causest to turn their back to me; those that hate me, —that I may destroy them.
Chúa khiến địch quay lưng trốn chạy. Bọn ghét tôi bị đánh tan hoang.
42 They look about, but there is none to help; unto the Lord—but he answereth them not.
Chúng van xin, không ai tiếp cứu. Chúng kêu cầu, Chúa có nghe chăng?
43 And I beat them small as the dust of the earth; as the mire of the street, I stamp them, I tread them down.
Tôi nghiền chúng ra như cám bụi; ném chúng như bùn đất ngoài đồng.
44 Thou hast also delivered me from the contests of my people: thou preservest me to be the head of nations, a people which I know not shall serve me.
Chúa cứu con khỏi sự công kích của con người, nâng con lên làm đầu các nước, cho những dân tộc xa lạ thần phục con.
45 The children of the stranger shall utter flattery unto me; as soon as their ear heareth they shall be obedient unto me.
Tôi ra lệnh, chúng theo răm rắp; người nước ngoài, gọi dạ, bảo vâng.
46 The children of the stranger shall fade away, and come forth tottering out of their close places.
Chúng mất hết tinh thần, sức lực bỏ thành trì kiên cố quy hàng.
47 The Lord liveth, and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the God, the Rock of my salvation;
Chúa Hằng Hữu trường tồn bất biến! Vầng Đá muôn đời được ca vang! Duy Đức Chúa Trời ra tay cứu rỗi, một mình Ngài là Đấng Chân Quang!
48 The God, that granteth me vengeance, and bringeth down nations under me;
Chúa công minh báo oán ban ơn; Ngài bắt các dân thần phục tôi.
49 And that bringeth me forth from my enemies: also above my opponents thou liftest me up, from the man of violence thou deliverest me.
Cứu thoát tôi hỏi tay quân địch, nâng con lên cao hơn mọi kẻ thù, cứu con khỏi người tàn bạo.
50 Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the nations, and unto thy name will I sing praises;
Vì thế nên, tôi hằng ca ngợi, tôn vinh Cứu Chúa giữa các dân; Danh Ngài, tôi hân hoan chúc tụng,
51 [To] the tower of salvation of his king, and who showeth kindness to his anointed, to David and to his seed forever.
Với người Ngài chọn, Chúa khoan nhân. Lòng từ ái ban ơn cứu rỗi Chúa thương dòng dõi tôi vô ngần, muôn đời chẳng bao giờ dời đổi.”
