2 Kings 21
1 Twelve years old was Menasseh when he became king, and fifty and five years did he reign in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Chephzi-bah.
౧మనష్షే పరిపాలన ఆరంభించినప్పుడు అతని వయసు 12 సంవత్సరాలు. అతడు యెరూషలేములో 55 సంవత్సరాలు ఏలాడు. అతని తల్లిపేరు హెప్సిబా.
2 And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, after the abominable acts of the nations whom the Lord had driven out before the children of Israel.
౨అతడు యెహోవా దృష్టిలో చెడుతనం జరిగిస్తూ, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ఎదుట నిలవలేకుండా యెహోవా వెళ్లగొట్టిన ప్రజలు చేసినట్లు అసహ్యమైన పనులు చేస్తూ వచ్చాడు.
3 And he built up again the high-places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Ba'al, and made a grove, as Achab the king of Israel had done; and he bowed down to all the host of heaven, and served them.
౩తన తండ్రి హిజ్కియా పడగొట్టిన ఉన్నత స్థలాలు అతడు మళ్ళీ కట్టించి, బయలు దేవుడుకు బలిపీఠాలు కట్టించి ఇశ్రాయేలురాజు అహాబు చేసినట్టు దేవతాస్తంభాలు చేయించి, నక్షత్రాలకు మొక్కి, వాటిని పూజిస్తూ ఉన్నాడు.
4 And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
౪ఇంకా “నా పేరు యెరూషలేములో శాశ్వతంగా ఉంచుతాను” అని యెహోవా చెప్పిన ఆ యెరూషలేములో అతడు యెహోవా మందిరంలో బలిపీఠాలు కట్టించాడు.
5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
౫ఇంకా, యెహోవా మందిరానికి ఉన్న రెండు ప్రాంగణాల్లో ఆకాశ నక్షత్రాలకు అతడు బలిపీఠాలు కట్టించాడు.
6 And he caused his son to pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much that is evil in the eyes of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
౬అతడు తన కొడుకును దహన బలిగా అర్పించి జ్యోతిష్యం, శకునాలు అలవాటు చేసి, చనిపోయిన ఆత్మలతో మాట్లాడే వాళ్ళతో, సోదె చెప్పే వాళ్ళతో సాంగత్యం చేశాడు. ఈ విధంగా అతడు యెహోవా దృష్టిలో ఎంతో చెడుతనం జరిగిస్తూ ఆయనకు కోపం పుట్టించాడు.
7 And he set a hewn image of the Asherah that he had made in the house, of which the Lord had said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
౭యెహోవా దావీదుకు, అతని కొడుకు సొలొమోనుకు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి “ఈ మందిరంలో ఇశ్రాయేలు గోత్రస్దానాల్లో నుంచి నేను కోరుకున్న ఈ యెరూషలేములో నా పేరు ఎల్లకాలం ఉంచుతాను” అని దేన్నీ గురించి చెప్పాడో ఆ యెహోవా మందిరంలో తాను చేయించిన అషేరా రూపాన్ని పెట్టాడు.
8 And I will not cause any more the foot of Israel to move out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to act in accordance with all that I have commanded them, and in accordance with all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
౮ఇంకా “ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు నేను ఆజ్ఞాపించిన దానంతటినీ నా సేవకుడు మోషే వాళ్లకు రాసి ఇచ్చిన ధర్మశాస్త్రాన్నీ వారు పాటిస్తే, వాళ్ళ పితరులకు నేనిచ్చిన దేశంలో నుంచి వాళ్ళ పాదాలు ఇంక తొలగి పోనివ్వను” అని యెహోవా చెప్పిన మాట వినకుండా
9 But they hearkened not: and Menasseh seduced them to do what is evil more than the nations whom the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.
౯ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల ఎదుట నిలబడకుండా యెహోవా నాశనం చేసిన ప్రజలు జరిగించిన చెడుతనాన్ని మించిన చెడుతనం చేసేలా మనష్షే వాళ్ళను పురిగొల్పాడు.
10 And the Lord spoke by means of his servants the prophets, saying,
౧౦అయితే, యెహోవా తన సేవకులైన ప్రవక్తల ద్వారా మాట్లాడుతూ,
11 Forasmuch as Menasseh the king of Judah hath done these abominations, having done wickedly more than all that the Emorites had done, who were before him, and hath induced Judah also to sin with his idols:
౧౧“యూదా రాజు మనష్షే ఈ అసహ్యమైన పనులు చేసి, తన ముందున్న అమోరీయులను మించిన చెడునడత కనుపరచి, తాను పెట్టుకొన్న విగ్రహాల వల్ల యూదావారు పాపం చెయ్యడానికి కారకుడయ్యాడు.
12 Therefore thus hath said the Lord the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
౧౨కాబట్టి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా చెప్పేదేమంటే, వినేవాళ్ళకు రెండు చెవులూ గింగురుమనేంత కీడు యెరూషలేము మీదకీ, యూదావాళ్ళ మీదకీ రప్పిస్తాను.
13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measure-line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Achab: and I will wipe off Jerusalem as one wipeth off a dish, wiping it, and turning it on its face.
౧౩నేను షోమ్రోనును కొలిచిన నూలు, అహాబు కుటుంబీకులను సరి చూసిన మట్టపు గుండు యెరూషలేము మీద సాగలాగుతాను. ఒకడు పళ్ళెం తుడిచేటప్పుడు దాన్ని బోర్లించి తుడిచినట్టు నేను యెరూషలేమును తుడిచివేస్తాను.
14 And I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance, and give them up into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
౧౪ఇంకా, నా స్వాస్ధ్యంలో మిగిలిన వాళ్ళను నేను తోసివేసి, వాళ్ళ శత్రువుల చేతికి వాళ్ళను అప్పగిస్తాను.
15 Forasmuch as they have done what is evil in my eyes, and have been provoking me to anger, from the day that their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even until this day.
౧౫వారు తమ పూర్వికులు ఐగుప్తు దేశంలోనుంచి వచ్చిన రోజునుంచి ఈ రోజు వరకూ నా దృష్టికి కీడు చేసి నాకు కోపం పుట్టిస్తున్నారు గనుక వారు తమ శత్రువులందరివల్ల దోపిడీకి గురై నష్టం పొందుతారు.”
16 And also innocent blood did Menasseh shed in very great abundance, till he had filled [therewith] Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he induced Judah to sin, to do what is evil in the eyes of the Lord.
౧౬ఇంకా మనష్షే యెహోవా దృష్టిలో చెడునడత నడిచి, యూదావాళ్ళను పాపంలో దింపడమే కాకుండా యెరూషలేమును ఈ మూల నుంచి ఆ మూల వరకూ రక్తంతో నిండేలా నిరపరాధుల రక్తాన్ని ఒలికించాడు.
17 Now the rest of the acts of Menasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he committed, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah.
౧౭మనష్షే చేసిన ఇతర పనుల గురించి, అతడు చేసిన దానంతటి గురించి, అతని దోషం గురించి యూదారాజుల చరిత్ర గ్రంథంలో రాసి ఉంది.
18 And Menasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of 'Uzza: and Amon his son became king in his stead.
౧౮మనష్షే తన పూర్వీకులతో బాటు చనిపోయిన తరువాత, ఉజ్జా తోటలో తన ఇంటి దగ్గర అతణ్ణి సమాధి చేశారు. అతని కొడుకు ఆమోను అతని స్థానంలో రాజయ్యాడు.
19 Twenty and two years old was Amon when he became king, and two years did he reign in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Charuz of Yotbah.
౧౯ఆమోను పరిపాలన ఆరంభించినప్పుడు అతని వయస్సు 22 సంవత్సరాలు. అతడు యెరూషలేములో రెండు సంవత్సరాలు ఏలాడు. అతని తల్లి పేరు మెషుల్లెమెతు. ఆమె యొట్బ ఊరివాడైన హారూసు కూతురు.
20 And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Menasseh had done.
౨౦అతడు తన తండ్రి మనష్షే నడిచినట్టు యెహోవా దృష్టిలో చెడునడత నడిచాడు.
21 And he walked in all the way that his father had walked in, and served the idols that his father had served, and bowed himself down to them;
౨౧తన పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాను వదిలిపెట్టి, యెహోవా మార్గంలో నడవకుండా, తన తండ్రి ప్రవర్తించినట్టు తానూ ప్రవర్తిస్తూ,
22 And he forsook the Lord the God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
౨౨తన తండ్రి పూజించిన విగ్రహాలను తానూ పూజించాడు.
23 And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and put the king to death in his own house.
౨౩ఆమోను సేవకులు అతని మీద కుట్రచేసి అతన్ని రాజనగరులో చంపారు.
24 And the people of the land slew all those that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
౨౪దేశ ప్రజలు రాజైన ఆమోను మీద కుట్ర చేసిన వాళ్ళందర్నీ చంపి, అతని స్థానంలో అతని కొడుకు యోషీయాకు పట్టాభిషేకం చేశారు.
25 Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah.
౨౫ఆమోను చేసిన ఇతర పనుల గురించి యూదారాజుల చరిత్ర గ్రంథంలో రాసి ఉంది.
26 And they buried him in his sepulchre in the garden of 'Uzza: and Josiah his son became king in his stead.
౨౬ఉజ్జా తోటలో అతనికి ఉన్న సమాధిలో అతణ్ణి సమాధి చేశారు. అతని కొడుకు యోషీయా అతని స్థానంలో రాజయ్యాడు.
