2 Kings 10
1 And Achab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters and sent them to Samaria, unto the rulers of Yizre'el, the elders, and to those that brought up Achab's children, saying,
Karon si Achab may kapitoan ka mga anak nga lalake didto sa Samaria. Ug si Jehu nagsulat sa mga sulat, ug gipadala ngadto sa Samari, ngadto sa mga punoan sa Jezreel, ang mga anciano, ug kanila nga nanagmatuto sa sa mga anak ni Achab, nga nagaingon:
2 And now as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing that there are with you your master's sons, and there are with you the chariots and the horses, and the fortified city, and the armor:
Ug karon sa diha nga kining sulat modangat kanimo tungod kay ang mga anak sa imong agalon anaa kaninyo, ug may anaa kaninyo nga mga carro ug mga kabayo, usa ka malig-on nga ciudad usab, ug hinagiban;
3 Select then the best and the most fitting of your master's sons, and set him on his father's throne, and fight for your master's house.
Pilion ninyo ang labing maayo ug labing angay sa mga anak sa inyong agalon, ug ibutang siya sa trono sa iyang amahan, ug pakig-away tungod sa balay sa imong agalon.
4 But they were exceedingly much afraid, and said, Behold, the two kings could not stand before him: how then shall we be able to stand?
Apan sila nangahadlok sa hilabihan, ug miingon: Ania karon, ang duha ka hari wala motindog sa atubangan niya: busa unsaon nato pagtindog?
5 And the superintendent over the house, and the commander over the city, and the elders, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and all that thou mayest say unto us will we do; we will not set up any one as king: do what is good in thy eyes.

6 Then wrote he to them a letter the second time, saying, If ye be for me, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, then take the heads of the men, your master's sons, and come to me to Yizre'el by this time tomorrow. Now the king's sons, seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, who brought them up.
Busa nagsulat siya sa ikadubang sulat kanila, nga nagaingon: Kong kamo modapig kanako, ug kong kamo mamati sa akong tingog, kuhaon ninyo ang mga ulo sa mga tawo nga mao ang anak nga lalake sa inyong agalon, ug umanhi kanako sa Jezreel manghiugma niining taknaa. 7 And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons and slaughtered them, seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent them to him to Yizre'el.

8 And the messenger came, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Place ye them in two heaps at the entrance of the gate until the morning.
Ug may miabut nga usa ka sulogoon ug gisuginlan siya, nga nagaingon: Ilang gidala ang mga ulo sa mga anak nga lalake sa hari. Ug siya miingon: Pahamutangon ninyo sila sa duha ka pinundok diha sa agianan sa pagsulod sa ganghaan hangtud sa pagkabuntag.
9 And it came to pass in the morning, that he went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye are righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him; but who hath killed all these?
Ug nahitabo sa pagkabuntag, nga siya migula, ug nagtindog, ug miingon sa tibook katawohan: Kamo matarung: ania karon, ako nagluib batok sa akong agalon, ug gipatay siya; apan kinsay nagpatay niining tanan?
10 Know now that there shall not fall of the word of the Lord unto the earth, the least that the Lord hath spoken concerning the house of Achab; and the Lord hath done that which he spoke by means of his servant Elijah.
Hibaloi ninyo karon nga dili mahulog sa yuta ang sa bisan unsang pulong ni Jehova, nga gipamulong ni Jehova mahitungod sa balay ni Achab; kay si Jehova nagtuman sa iyang gipamulong pinaagi sa iyang alagad nga si Elias.
11 And Jehu smote all that yet remained of the house of Achab in Yizre'el, and all his great men, and his acquaintance, and his priests, until he had left him none that escaped.
Busa si Jehu nagpatay sa tanang nahibilin sa balay ni Achab sa Jezreel, ug sa tanang mga dagkung tawo, ug sa iyang mga hinasa nga higala, ug sa iyang mga sacerdote, hangtud nga walay nahasalin kaniya.
12 And he arose and departed, and came to Samaria; he was just at the binding-house of the shepherds, on the way:
Ug siya mitindog ug mipahawa, ug miadto sa Samaria. Ug sa didto siya sa balay nga talapokan sa mga magbalantay sa mga carnero, diha sa alagianna.
13 When Jehu met with the brothers of Achazyahu the king of Judah, and he said, Who are ye? And they said, The brothers of Achazyahu are we; and we are come down to salute the children of the king and the children of the queen.
Si Jehu gihibalag sa mga kaigsoonan ni Ochozias nga hari sa Juda, ug miingon: Kinsa ba kamo? Ug sila mingtubag: Kami mao ang mga igsoon ni Ochozias: ug kami nanganhi aron sa paghatag ug katahuran sa mga anak sa hari ug sa mga anak sa reina.
14 And he said, Seize them alive. And they seized them alive, and slaughtered them at the pit of the binding-house, two and forty men; and he left not one of them remaining.
Ug siya miingon: Dakpa sila nga buhi. Ug ilang gidakup sila nga buhi, ug gipatay sila duol sa awang nga pagaguntingan sa mga balhibo sa mga carnero, bisan ang kap-atan ug duha ka mga tawo: walay gisalin niya kanila.
15 And he went away thence, and met Yehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is all right in thy heart, as my heart is with thy heart? And Yehonadab answered, It is; it is: give me thy hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.
Ug sa pagtalikod niya didto, nakita si Jonadab ang anak nga lalake ni Rechab nga nagapaingon sa pagsugat kaniya; ug iyang gihatagan siya sa katahuran, ug miingon kaniya: Matarung ba ang imong kasingkasing, ingon nga ang akong kasingkasing miuyon sa imong kasingkasing? Ug si Jonadab mitubag: Kana mao. Kong malo kana, itunol kanako ang imong kamot. Ug iyang gitunol kaniya ang iyang kamot; ug iyang gipatungtong siya sa iyang carro.
16 And he said, Come with me, and behold my zeal for the Lord. So they made him ride in his chariot.
Ug siya miingon: Umuban ka kanako ug tan-awa ang akong mainitong kakugi alang kang Jehova. Busa ilang gitungtong siya sa carro.
17 And when he came to Samaria, he smote all that yet remained unto Achab in Samaria, till he had exterminated him, according to the word of the Lord which he had spoken to Elijah.
Ug sa pag-abut niya sa Samaria, iyang gipatay ang tanan nga nahasalin kang Achab sa Samaria, hangtud nga iyang nalaglag sila, sumala sa pulong ni Jehova, nga iyang gipamulong kang Elias.
18 And Jehu assembled all the people, and said unto them, Achab hath served Ba'al a little: Jehu will serve him much.
Ug gitigum ni Jehu ang tibook katawohan, ug miingon kanila: Si Achab nag-alagad kang Baal ug diyutay: apan si Jehu moalagad kaniya sa daghan.
19 And now call unto me all the prophets of Ba'al, all his worshippers, and all his priests: let no one be missing; for I have a great sacrifice to make for Ba'al; whosoever will be missing, shall not live. But Jehu did it in subtilty, in order to destroy the worshippers of Ba'al.
Busa karon tawga nganhi kanako ang tanan nga manalagna ni Baal, ang tanan nga magsisimba niya, ug ang tanan niyang mga sacerdote; dili gayud pagkulangon: kay ako dumay usa ka halad nga buhaton kang Baal; bisan kinsa gani ang makulang, siya dili mabuhi. Apan si Jehu naghimo niana sa limbong, sa tinguha nga malaglag niya ang mga magsisimba kang Baal.
20 And Jehu said, Sanctify a solemn assembly for Ba'al. And they proclaimed it.
Ug si Jehu miingon: Himoa ang usa ka balaan nga pagkatigum alang kang Baal. Ug ilang gipahibalo kini.
21 And Jehu sent throughout all Israel: and there came all the worshippers of Ba'al, so that there was not a man remaining that came not; and they came into the house of Ba'al; and the house of Ba'al was full from one end to another.
Ug gipasugoan ni Jehu ang tibook Israel: ug ang tanan nga mga magsisimba kang Baal nanganha, mao nga anha. Ug nangadto sila sa balay ni Baal; ug ang balay ni Baal napuno sukad sa usang tumoy hangtud sa usa.
22 And he said unto him that was over the wardrobe, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Ba'al. And he brought forth for them the vestments.
Ug siya miingon kaniya nga may katungdanan sa pagbantay sa mga bisti: Dad-a ang saput sa tanan nga magsisimba kang Baal. Ug iyang gidad-an sila sa mga saput.
23 And Jehu went, with Yehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Ba'al, and he said unto the worshippers of Ba'al, Search, and look that there be not here with you any of the servants of the Lord, but the worshippers of Ba'al entirely alone.
Ug si Jehu miadto, ug si Jonadab ang anak nga lalake ni Rechab, ngadto sa balay ni Baal; ug siya miingon sa mga magsisimba kang Baal: Susiha, ug tan-awa nga dinhi kaninyo walay bisan kinsa sa mga alagad ni Jehova, kondili ang mga magsisimba kang Baal lamang.
24 And they went in to prepare sacrifices and burnt-offerings; but Jehu had set for himself without eighty men, and said, [If there be] a man that escapeth from the men whom I deliver into your hands, [there shall be given] life for his life.

25 And it came to pass, as soon as they had made an end of preparing the burnt-offering, that Jehu said to the runners and to the officers, Go in, smite them: let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the runners and the captains cast them out, and went as far as the city of the house of Ba'al.
Ug nahitabo, sa diha nga gitapus na niya ang paghalad sa halad-nga sinunog, nga si Jehu miingon sa magbalantay ug sa mga capitan: Sulod, ug pamatya sila; walay pagulaon. 26 And they brought forth the statues out of the house of Ba'al, and burnt every one of them.
Ug ilang gipadala ang mga haligi nga bato nga diha sa balay ni Baal, ug gisunog sila.
27 And they broke down the statue of Ba'al, and broke down the house of Ba'al, and made it a common sewer unto this day.
Ug ilang gigun-ob ang haligi nga bato ni Baal, ug gigun-ob ang balay ni Baal, ug gihimo nga usa ka balay sa sagbut hangtud niining adlawa.
28 Thus Jehu exterminated Ba'al out of Israel.
Sa ingon niini giwagtang ni Jehu si Baal sa Israel.
29 Nevertheless the sins of Jerobo'am the son of Nebat, who induced Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from in following them, [namely, ] the golden calves that were in Beth-el, and that were in Dan.
Apan gikan sa mga sala ni Jeroboam ang anak nga lalake ni Nabat, diin gihimo niya ang Israel sa pagpakasala, si Jehu wala mahamulag kanila, pananglit, sa bulawang nati nga vaca nga didto sa Beth-el, ug kadtong didto sa Dan.
30 And the Lord said unto Jehu, Forasmuch as thou hast acted well in doing what is right in my eyes, and hast done in accordance with all that was in my heart unto the house of Achab: children of the fourth generation after thee shall sit upon the throne of Israel.
Ug si Jehova namulong kang Jehu: Tungod kay nagbuhat ka sa maayo sa pagtuman sa matarung sa akong mga mata, ug naghimo sa balay ni Achab sumala sa tanan nga dinhi sa akong kasingkasing, ang imong mga anak nga lalake sa ikaupat ka kaliwatan magalingkod sa trono sa Israel.
31 But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the Lord the God of Israel with all his heart: he departed not from the sins of Jerobo'am, who induced Israel to sin.
Apan si Jehu wala mamati aron sa paglakat sa Kasugoan ni Jehova, ang Dios sa Israel, sa tibook niyang kasingkasing; siya wala mobulag gikan sa sala ni Jeroboam, diin gihimo niya ang Israel sa pagpakasala.
32 In those days the Lord began to cut Israel short; and Chazael smote them in all the boundary of Israel;
Niadtong mga adlawa si Jehova nagsugod sa paggun-ob sa Israel: ug gisamaran sila ni Hazael sa tanang utlanan sa Israel;
33 From the Jordan to the rising of the sun, all the land of Gil'ad, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Menassites, from 'Aro'er which is by the river Arnon, both Gil'ad and Bashan.
Sukad sa Jordan ngadto sa silangan, ang tibook yuta sa Galaad, ang mga Gadhanon, ug ang mga Rubenhon, ug ang mga Manaseshanon, sukad sa Aroer, nga duol sa walog sa Arnon, bisan sa Galaad ug sa Basan.
34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that he did, and all his mighty deeds, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
Karon ang nahabilin sa mga buhat ni Jehu, ug ang tanan nga iyang gibuhat, ug ang tanan sa iyang gahum, wala ba sila mahisulat sa basahon sa mga Cronicas sa mga hari sa Israel?
35 And Jehu slept with his fathers, and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoachaz his son became king in his stead.
Ug si Jehu natulog uban sa iyang mga amahan; ug ilang gilubong siya sa Samaria. Ug si Joachaz nga iyang anak nga lalake naghari ilis kaniya.
36 And the time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty and eight years.
Ug ang kadugayon nga si Jehu naghari sa Israel sa Samaria, kaluhaan ug walo ka tuig.
