2 Chronicles 7
1 And when Solomon had made an end of praying, a fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt-offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house.
Като свърши Соломон молитвата си, огън излезе от небето та изгори всеизгарянията и жертвите, и Господната слава изпълни дома.
2 And the priests were not able to enter into the house of the Lord; because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord's house.
И свещениците не можаха да влязат в Господния дом, защото славата на Господа изпълни дома Му.
3 And all the children of Israel were looking on as the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord [was resting] upon the house; and they kneeled down with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and prostrated themselves, and gave thanks unto the Lord, for he is good; because unto everlasting endureth his kindness.
И всичките израилтяни, като видяха, че огънят слезе, и че Господната слава бе над дома, наведоха се с лице до земята върху постланите камъни та се поклониха, прославящи Господа, защото е благ защото милостта Му е до века.
4 And the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the Lord.
Тогава царят и всичките люде принесоха жертви пред Господа.
5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty thousand sheep: and so they dedicated the house of God, the king and all the people.
Цар Соломон принесе в жертви двадесет и две хиляди говеда и сто и двадесет хиляди овци. Така царят и всичките люде посветиха Божият дом.
6 And the priests were standing on their stations, and the Levites with the instruments of the music of the Lord, which king David had made to give thanks unto the Lord, because unto everlasting endureth his kindness, with the song of praise of David in their hand; and the priests blew the trumpets opposite to them, and all Israel were standing.
И свещениците стояха според службите си, също и левитите с инструментите за песнопеене Господу, които цар Давид беше направил, за да славословят Господа, защото милостта Му е до века, когато Давид въздаваше хвала чрез тяхното служене; а свещениците тръбяха срещу тях; докато целият Израил стоеше.
7 And Solomon hallowed the interior of the court that was before the house of the Lord; for he prepared there the burnt-offerings, and the fat of the peace-offerings; because the copper altar which Solomon had made was not able to contain the burnt-offerings, and the meat-offerings, and the fat.
Соломон освети и средата на двора, който е към лицето на Господния дом; защото там принесе всеизгарянията и тлъстината на примирителните приноси, понеже медният олтар, който Соломон бе направил, не можеше да побере всеизгарянията и хлебния принос и тлъстината.
8 And Solomon held the feast at that time seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from the entrance of Chamath unto the river of Egypt.
По тоя начин Соломон и целият Израил с него, твърде голям събор събран из местностите от прохода на Емат до Египетския проток, пазеха в онова време празника седем дни.
9 And they held on the eighth day a solemn assembly; for the dedication of the altar they held seven days, and the feast seven days.
А на осмия ден държаха тържествено събрание; защото пазеха посвещението на олтара седем дни и празника седем дни.
10 And on the three-and-twentieth day of the seventh month he dismissed the people unto their tents, joyful and glad of heart because of the good that the Lord had done for David, and for Solomon, and for Israel his people.
И на двадесет и третия ден от седмия месец царят изпрати людете в шатрите им с радостни и весели сърца за благостите, които Господ бе показал към Давида, към Соломона и към людете Си Израиля.
11 Thus did Solomon complete the house of the Lord, and the king's house; and [in] all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the Lord, and in his own house, he prospered.
Така Соломон свърши Господния дом и царската къща; всичко, каквото дойде в сърцето на Соломона да направи в Господния дом и в своята къща, свърши го благополучно.
12 Then appeared the Lord to Solomon during the night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and I have made choice of this place for myself as a house of sacrifice.
Тогава Господ се яви на Соломона през нощта и му каза: Чух молитвата ти и избрах това място да Ми бъде дом за жертви.
13 If I shut up the heavens that there be no rain, or if I give a charge to the locusts to devour off the land, or if I send a pestilence among my people:
Ако заключа небето да не вали дъжд, или ако заповядам на скакалците да изпоядат земята, или ако изпратя мор между людете Си,
14 And if my people, over whom my name is called, do then humble themselves, and pray, and seek my presence, and turn away from their evil ways: then will I also hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
и людете Ми, които се наричат с Моето име, смирят себе си та се помолят и потърсят лицето Ми, и се върнат от нечестивите си пътища, тогава ще послушам от небето, ще простя греха им и ще изцеля земята им.
15 Now, my eyes shall be open, and my ears attentive unto the prayer on this place.
Сега очите Ми ще бъдат отворени и ушите Ми внимателни, към молитвата, която се принася на това място.
16 And now I have chosen and hallowed this house, that my name may be there for ever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there at all times.
Защото сега избрах и осветих тоя дом за да бъде името Ми в него до века; и очите Ми и сърцето Ми ще бъдат там за винаги.
17 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father hath walked, so as to do in accordance with all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my ordinances:
А колкото за тебе, ако ходиш пред Мене както ходи баща ти Давид, и постъпваш напълно според както съм ти заповядал, и пазиш повеленията Ми и съдбите Ми,
18 Then will I establish the throne of thy kingdom, just as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall never fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.
тогава ще утвърдя престола на царството ти според завета, който направих с баща ти Давида, като рекох: Няма да ти липсва мъж да управлява Израиля.
19 But if ye will indeed turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and will go and serve other gods, and bow down to them:
Но ако се отклоните, ако оставите повеленията и заповедите, които поставих пред вас, и отидете та послужите на други богове и им се поклоните,
20 Then will I pluck them up out of my land which I have given unto them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast away from my sight, and I will render it to be for a proverb and for a by-word among all the people.
тогава ще ги изкореня от земята Си, която съм им дал, и ще отхвърля отпред очите Си тоя дом, който осветих за името Си, и ще го направя за поговорка и поругание между всичките племена.
21 And this house, which hath been so exalted, shall become an astonishment to every one that passeth by it: so that he will say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
А за тоя дом, който стана толкова висок, всеки, който минава край него, ще се зачуди и ще рече: Защо направи Господ така на тая земя и на тоя дом?
22 And men shall then say, For the cause that they forsook the Lord the God of their fathers, who had brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and they took hold of other gods, and bowed down to them, and served them: therefore hath he brought upon them all this evil.
И ще отговорят: Понеже оставиха Господа Бога на бащите си, Който ги изведе из Египетската земя, та се хванаха за други богове и им се поклониха и им послужиха, за това нанесе на тях всичкото това зло.
