2 Chronicles 4
1 He made also an altar of copper, twenty cubits being its length, and twenty cubits its breadth, and ten cubits its height.
इसके बाद शलोमोन ने एक कांसे की वेदी बनवाई, इसकी लंबाई और चैड़ाई एक समान, नौ मीटर थी और इसकी ऊंचाई थी साढ़े चार मीटर.
2 He made also the molten sea, being ten cubits from the one brim to the other, rounded all about, and it was five cubits in height: and a line of thirty cubits did encompass it round about.
शलोमोन ने ढली हुई धातु का एक पानी का हौद बनाया, जो गोल था और उसका व्यास साढ़े चार मीटर और उसकी ऊंचाई थी सवा दो मीटर इसका कुल घेर था साढ़े तेरह मीटर
3 And likenesses of oxen were under it, encompassing it all round about, ten in a cubit, encircling the sea round about: the oxen were in two rows [and were] cast [with it], when it was cast.
इसके जल में और इसके चारों ओर बछड़ों की आकृति बनाई गई थी—पूरे साढ़े चार मीटर में. ये आकृतियां पूरे हौद को घेरे हुए थी. बछड़ों की आकृतियां दो पंक्तियों में ढाली गई थी जिससे पूरा हौद एक ही था, बिना जोड़ के.
4 It was standing upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was resting above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
यह हौद बारह बछड़ों पर रखा, गया था; तीन उत्तर दिशा की ओर मुख किए हुए थे, तीन पश्चिम दिशा की ओर. यह हौद इन्हीं पर रखा गया था और इन सभी के पिछले पैर अंदर की ओर थे.
5 And its thickness was a hand's breadth, and its brim like the brim of a cup, with lily-buds; and it could hold and contain three thousand baths.
हौद की मोटाई लगभग आठ सेंटीमीटर थी, इसकी किनारी कटोरे की किनारी के समान सोसन फूल के आकार में ढाली गई थी. इसकी क्षमता थी एक लाख पैंतीस हज़ार लीटर.
6 He made also ten lavers; and he placed five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: what belonged to the burnt-offering they rinsed off at them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
धोने की प्रक्रिया के लिए उन्होंने दस चिलमचियों को बनाया. उन्होंने पांच चिलमचियां दायीं ओर और पांच बायीं ओर. इनका इस्तेमाल होमबलि के लिए प्रयोग की जानेवाली वस्तुओं को धोना, मगर हौद का प्रयोग पुरोहितों के नहाने के लिए किया जाता था.
7 And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their prescribed manner: and he placed [them] in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left.
तब शलोमोन ने निर्देश के अनुसार दस सोने की दीवटों का निर्माण किया और उन्हें मंदिर में प्रतिष्ठित कर दिया; पांच दायीं ओर और पांच बायीं ओर.
8 He made also ten tables, and he set them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made a hundred bowls of gold.
उन्होंने दस मेजों को बनाकर उन्हें मंदिर में प्रतिष्ठित किया, पांच दायीं ओर और पांच बायीं ओर. तब उन्होंने सौ सोने के कटोरों का निर्माण किया.
9 And he made the court of the priests, and the great out-court, and doors for the out-court, and their doors he overlaid with copper.
इसके बाद शलोमोन ने पुरोहितों के लिए आंगन बनवाया. उन्होंने साथ ही एक बहुत बड़ा आंगन और उसके लिए दरवाजों को भी बनवाया. इन दरवाजों को उन्होंने कांसे से मढ़ दिया.
10 And the sea he placed on the right side toward the east, opposite to the south.
शलोमोन ने हौद को भवन के दक्षिण पूर्व कोने में स्थापित कर दिया.
11 And Churam made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. And Churam made an end of doing the work which he made for king Solomon in the house of God:
हूराम-आबी ने चिमचियां, बेलचे और कटोरियां भी बनाईं. हीराम ने राजा शलोमोन के लिए परमेश्वर के भवन से संबंधित सारा काम खत्म कर दिया.
12 The two pillars, and the bowls, and the capitals on the top of the two pillars, and the two networks to cover the bowl-shaped capitals which were on the top of the pillars;
दो मीनार, इन मीनारों के ऊपर लगाए गए दो गोलाकार कंगनियां; खंभे के सिरों के गोलाकार भागों के ऊपर लटकाई गई जाली;
13 And the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowl-shaped capitals which were upon the front of the pillars.
दोनों मीनारों के सिरों पर लगाए गए चार सौ अनार (हर एक के लिए दो-दो सौ अनार; जो खंभों के सिरों पर लगाए गए थे);
14 The bases also did he make, and the lavers made he upon the bases.
उसने कुर्सियां बनवाई और उन पर रखने के लिए चिलमचियां भी;
15 The one sea, and the twelve oxen under it,
और वह एक हौद और उसके नीचे स्थापित किए गए वे बारह बछड़े भी;
16 And the pots also, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their instruments, did Churam-Abiv make for king Solomon for the house of the Lord, of polished copper.
वे कलश, फावड़े, कांटे और इन सबके साथ इनसे संबंधित सारी चीज़ें. सारे बर्तन हुराम-आबी ने राजा शलोमोन के आदेश से याहवेह के भवन के लिए चमकाए गए कांसे के बनाए थे.
17 In the plain of the Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay-ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.
राजा ने इनकी ढलाई यरदन घाटी में, जो सुक्कोथ और ज़ेरेदाह में है, मिट्टी के सांचों में ढाल कर की थी.
18 And Solomon made all these vessels in very great abundance; for the weight of the copper was not inquired into.
इस प्रकार शलोमोन ने ये सभी बर्तन बहुत अधिक मात्रा में बनवाए थे. मात्रा इतनी ज्यादा थी कि कांसे का भार मापना संभव न रहा.
19 And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained to the house of God; and the altar of gold also, and the tables whereon the show-bread [was set];
शलोमोन ने परमेश्वर के भवन के लिए ये सभी वस्तुएं भी बनवाई थी: सोने की वेदी; मेल की रोटी के लिए ज़रूरी मेज़;
20 And the candlesticks with their lamps, to light them after the prescribed manner before the debir, of pure gold.
शुद्ध सोने की दीवटें और उनके ऊपर रखे जाने के दीप, जिन्हें ठहराई गई रीति से अंदर के मंदिर के सामने जलाया जाना था;
21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, were of gold, the purest of gold;
सोने के, हां, विशुद्ध स्वर्ण के फूल दीप और चिमटियां;
22 And the knives, and the basins, and the spoons, and the censers were of pure gold; and the entrance of the house, its inner doors for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
दीप की बाती काटने की कैंचियां, चिलमचियां, धूप के पात्र, अग्नि रखने के पात्र शुद्ध सोने के थे. मंदिर के द्वारों के कब्जे, परम पवित्र स्थान के आन्तरिक द्वारों के कब्जे और मंदिर के बीच के भाग के दरवाजे भी सोने के ही थे.
