2 Chronicles 3
1 And Solomon began to build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where He had appeared unto David his father, on the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
੧ਤਦ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋਰੀਆਹ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਭਵਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲੱਗਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਰਨਾਨ ਯਬੂਸੀ ਦੇ ਪਿੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ
2 And he began to build on the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
੨ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲੱਗਾ।
3 Now in this manner was the foundation laid of the house of God [at its] building [by] Solomon: The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
੩ਜੋ ਨੀਂਹ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਰੱਖੀ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਮਿਣਤੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੱਠ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਵੀਹ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ
4 And the porch that was in the front of the length was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was a hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
੪ਅਤੇ ਡਿਉੜੀ ਜੋ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੀਹ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਉਚਿਆਈ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਵੀਹ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਦਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੁੰਦਨ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੜ੍ਹਿਆ
5 And the great house he ceiled with fir-wood, which he overlaid with pure gold, and he wrought thereon palm-trees and chains.
੫ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਚੀਲ ਦੀ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਜੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਖੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਖਜ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਬੂਟੇ ਤੇ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰੀਆਂ ਉੱਕਰੀਆਂ
6 And he overlaid the house with costly stones for ornament: and the gold was gold of Parvayim.
੬ਅਤੇ ਸੁਹੱਪਣ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸੋਨਾ ਪਰਵਾਇਮ ਦਾ ਸੋਨਾ ਸੀ
7 And he covered the house, the beams, the sills, and its walls, and its doors, with gold: and he engraved cherubim on the walls.
੭ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਤੀਰਾਂ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਿਆਂ ਬੂਹਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਧਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਉੱਕਰੇ
8 And he made the most holy house, its length being in front of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits: and he covered it with fine gold, [amounting] to six hundred talents.
੮ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਉਹ ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੀਹ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਵੀਹ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਤੋੜੇ ਚੋਖੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੜ੍ਹਿਆ
9 And the weight of the nails [amounted] to fifty shekels of gold. And the upper chambers he covered with gold.
੯ਅਤੇ ਕਿੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੋਲ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਤੋਲੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉੱਪਰਲੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ
10 And he made in the most holy house two cherubim of sculpture work, and they overlaid them with gold.
੧੦ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਉੱਕਰ ਕੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੜ੍ਹਿਆ
11 And regarding the wings of the cherubim their length was twenty cubits; the wing of the one amounting to five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing of five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
੧੧ਅਤੇ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੰਭਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਵੀਹ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ। ਇੱਕ ਖੰਭ ਪੰਜ ਹੱਥ ਲੰਮਾ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਖੰਭ ਪੰਜ ਹੱਥ ਦਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਦੇ ਖੰਭ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ
12 And the wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits was joined closely to the wing of the other cherub.
੧੨ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਖੰਭ ਪੰਜ ਹੱਥ ਲੰਮਾ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਖੰਭ ਪੰਜ ਹੱਥ ਦਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਕਰੂਬੀ ਦੇ ਖੰਭ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ
13 The wings of these cherubim [as they were] spread out were twenty cubits: and they were standing on their feet, and their faces were inward.
੧੩ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੰਭ ਵੀਹ ਹੱਥ ਫੈਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਅੰਦਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਨ।
14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought thereon cherubim.
੧੪ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੜਦਾ ਨੀਲੇ, ਬੈਂਗਣੀ, ਕਿਰਮਚੀ ਮਹੀਨ ਕਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਦਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਢਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ।
15 And he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits in length, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
੧੫ਉਸ ਨੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਲੱਗਭੱਗ ਪੈਂਤੀ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਚੇ ਦੋ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਬਣਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਦੀ ਟੀਸੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੰਜ-ਪੰਜ ਹੱਥ ਦਾ ਮੁਕਟ ਸੀ।
16 And he made chains in the debir; and [others which] he placed on the top of the pillars; and he made a hundred pomegranates, and placed them on the chains.
੧੬ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵਿੱਚਲੀ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰੀਆਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਅਨਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੰਜ਼ੀਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
17 And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Bo'az.
੧੭ਉਸ ਨੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਕਲ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਜੇ ਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ “ਯਾਕੀਨ” ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ “ਬੋਅਜ਼” ਰੱਖਿਆ।
