2 Chronicles 16
1 In the six-and-thirtieth year of the reign of Assa, came up Ba'sha the king of Israel against Judah, and built Kamah, in order not to suffer any one to go out or come in to Assa the king of Judah.
Ын ал трейзечь ши шаселя ан ал домнией луй Аса, Баеша, ымпэратул луй Исраел, с-а суит ымпотрива луй Иуда ши а ынтэрит Рама, ка сэ ну ласе пе ай луй Аса, ымпэратул луй Иуда, сэ ясэ ши сэ интре.
2 Then did Assa bring out silver and gold out of the treasuries of the house of the Lord and of the king's house, and sent [them] to Ben-hadad the king of Syria, who dwelt at Damascus, saying,
Аса а скос арӂинт ши аур дин вистиерииле Касей Домнулуй ши але касей ымпэратулуй ши а тримис соль ла Бен-Хадад, ымпэратул Сирией, каре локуя ла Дамаск. Ши а пус сэ-й спунэ:
3 A covenant is between me and thee, as between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent unto thee silver and gold; go, break thy covenant with Ba'sha the king of Israel, that he may withdraw from me.
„Сэ фие ун легэмынт ынтре мине ши тине, кум а фост унул ынтре татэл меу ши татэл тэу. Ятэ, ыць тримит арӂинт ши аур. Ду-те ши рупе легэмынтул тэу ку Баеша, ымпэратул луй Исраел, ка сэ се депэртезе де ла мине.”
4 And Ben-hadad hearkened unto king Assa, and sent the captains of the armies that he had against the cities of Israel, and they smote 'Iyon, and Dan, and Abel-mayim, and all the treasure-cities of Naphtali.
Бен-Хадад а аскултат пе ымпэратул Аса; а тримис пе кэпетенииле оштирий сале ымпотрива четэцилор луй Исраел ши ау бэтут Иионул, Дан, Абел-Маим ши тоате локуриле пентру меринде дин четэциле луй Нефтали.
5 And it came to pass, when Ba'sha heard this, that he left off the building of Ramah, and stopped his work.
Кынд а аузит, Баеша а ынчетат сэ май ынтэряскэ Рама ши а пус капэт лукрэрилор сале.
6 And king Assa took then all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and its timber, wherewith Ba'sha had built; and he built therewith Geba' and Mizpah.
Ымпэратул Аса а пус пе тот Иуда сэ ридиче петреле ши лемнеле пе каре ле ынтребуинца Баеша ла ынтэриря Рамей ши ле-а ынтребуинцат ла ынтэриря Гебей ши Мицпей.
7 And at that time came Chanani the seer to Assa the king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and hast not relied on the Lord thy God: therefore is the army of the king of Syria escaped out of thy hands.
Ын время ачея, Ханани, вэзэторул, с-а дус ла Аса, ымпэратул луй Иуда, ши й-а зис: „Пентру кэ те-ай сприжинит пе ымпэратул Сирией, ши ну те-ай сприжинит пе Домнул Думнезеул тэу, де ачея а скэпат оастя ымпэратулуй Сирией дин мыниле тале.
8 Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubim a numerous army, with chariots and horsemen in great abundance? yet, because thou didst rely on the Lord, he gave them up into thy hand.
Етиопений ши либиений ну алкэтуяу оаре о оасте маре, ку о мулциме де каре ши кэлэрець? Ши тотушь Домнул й-а дат ын мыниле тале пентру кэ те сприжинисешь пе Ел.
9 For as regardeth the Lord, his eyes roam throughout the whole earth, to hold strongly with those whose heart is entire toward him: thou hast done foolishly for this reason; because from this time forth there will be wars with thee.
Кэч Домнул Ышь ынтинде привириле песте тот пэмынтул ка сэ сприжине пе ачея а кэрор инимэ есте ынтрягэ а Луй. Ай лукрат ка ун небун ын привинца ачаста, кэч де акум вей авя рэзбоае.”
10 Then became Assa incensed toward the seer, and put him in a prison-house; for he was in a rage with him because of this. And Assa oppressed some of the people at the same time.
Аса с-а мыният пе вэзэтор ши л-а пус ла ынкисоаре, пентру кэ ера ынфурият ымпотрива луй. Тот ын ачелашь тимп, Аса а апэсат ши пе уний дин попор.
11 And, behold, the acts of Assa, the first and the last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
Фаптеле луй Аса, челе динтый ши челе де пе урмэ, сунт скрисе ын картя ымпэрацилор луй Иуда ши Исраел.
12 And Assa became sick in the thirty-and-ninth year of his reign in his feet, his disease being exceedingly severe: yet even in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but [applied] to the physicians.
Ын ал трейзечь ши ноуэля ан ал домнией сале, Аса с-а ымболнэвит де пичоаре аша ынкыт авя марь дурерь; кяр ын тимпул болий луй, н-а кэутат пе Домнул, чи а ынтребат пе докторь.
13 And Assa slept with his fathers, and died in the one-and-fortieth year of his reign.
Аса а адормит ку пэринций сэй ши а мурит ын ал патрузечь ши унуля ан ал домнией луй;
14 And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had dug for himself in the city of David, and they laid him in the couch which was filled with sweet odors and divers kinds of spices mixed by the apothecary's art; and they made for him a burning uncommonly great.
л-ау ынгропат ын мормынтул пе каре ши-л сэпасе ын четатя луй Давид. Л-ау кулкат пе ун пат пе каре-л умплусерэ ку миродений ши миросурь прегэтите дупэ мештешугул челуй че прегэтеште мирул ши ау арс ын чинстя луй фоарте мулте миродений.
