1 Kings 9

1 And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished building the house of the Lord, and the king's house, and all Solomon's desire which he was pleased to execute:

پاش ئەوەی سلێمان بنیادنانی پەرستگای یەزدان و کۆشکی پاشای تەواو کرد، هەروەها هەموو ئەوانەشی تەواو کرد کە پێی خۆشبوو،

2 That the Lord appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gib'on.

دووبارە یەزدان بۆ سلێمان دەرکەوتەوە، هەروەک چۆن لە گبعۆن بۆی دەرکەوت.

3 And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast offered before me; I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there at all times.

جا یەزدان پێی فەرموو: «گوێم لە نوێژ و پاڕانەوەکەت بوو کە لەبەردەمم پاڕایتەوە، ئەم پەرستگایەم پیرۆز کرد کە بنیادت ناوە، تاکو بۆ هەتاهەتایە ناوەکەم لەوێ دابنێم، چاوەکانم و دڵیشم هەمیشە لەوێ دەبن.

4 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in rectitude, to do in accordance with all that I have commanded thee, [and] wilt keep my statutes and my ordinances:

«تۆش ئەگەر بە دڵسۆزی و دڵپاکییەوە دۆستایەتیم بکەیت، وەک ئەوەی داودی باوکت کردی، هەموو ئەوەی فەرمانم پێ کردوویت بیکەیت و فەرز و حوکمەکانم بەجێبهێنیت،

5 Then will I establish the throne of thy kingdom over Israel for ever; as I have spoken concerning David thy father, saying, There shall never fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

ئەوا هەتاهەتایە تەختی پاشایەتییەکەت لەسەر ئیسرائیل جێگیر دەکەم، هەروەک چۆن بەڵێنم بە داودی باوکت دا و فەرمووم:”پیاو لە تۆ نابڕێت لەسەر تەختی ئیسرائیل.“

6 But if ye will at all turn away, ye or your children, from following me, and will not keep my commandments [and] my statutes which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods, and bow down to them:

«بەڵام ئەگەر ئێوە یاخود نەوەکانتان لێم هەڵگەڕێنەوە و چاوتان لە فەرز و فەرمانەکانم نەبوو کە پێم داون، چوون و خودای دیکەتان پەرست و کڕنۆشتان بۆ بردن،

7 Then will I cut off Israel from the face of the land which I have given them; and the house, which I have hallowed unto my name, will I cast away from my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a by-word among all the nations;

ئەوا ئیسرائیل لەسەر ڕووی ئەو خاکەی پێم داون دەبڕمەوە و ئەم پەرستگایەش کە بۆ ناوی خۆم تەرخانم کردووە لەبەرچاوم نایهێڵم. ئیسرائیل لەنێو هەموو گەلان دەبێتە پەند و مایەی گاڵتەجاڕی،

8 And at this house, [which] should be so exalted, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and men will say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and unto this house?

ئەم پەرستگا پایەبەرزەش، هەرکەسێک پێیدا تێبپەڕێت سەری سوڕدەمێنێت و فیکە لێدەدات، دەڵێت:”بۆچی یەزدان وای لەم خاکە و لەم پەرستگایە کرد؟“

9 And they shall say, For the cause that they forsook the Lord their God, who had brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and took hold of other gods, and bowed down to them, and served them: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this evil.

ئینجا خەڵکی وەڵام دەدەنەوە:”لەبەر ئەوەی وازیان لە یەزدانی پەروەردگاریان هێناوە، ئەوەی کە باوباپیرانیانی لە خاکی میسرەوە دەرهێنا، دەستیان بە خودای دیکەوە گرتووە، کڕنۆشیان بۆ بردوون و ئەوانیان پەرستووە، لەبەر ئەوە یەزدان تووشی ئەم هەموو کارەساتەی کردن.“»

10 And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, when Solomon had built the two houses, the house of the Lord, and the king's house,

لە کۆتایی ئەو بیست ساڵەی کە سلێمان تێیدا هەردوو تەلارەکەی بنیاد نا، پەرستگای یەزدان و کۆشکی پاشا،

11 (Now Hiram the king of Tyre had supplied Solomon with cedar-trees and fir-trees, and with gold, according to all his desire, ) that king Solomon then gave to Hiram twenty cities in the land of Galilee.

سلێمانی پاشا بیست شارۆچکەی لە خاکی جەلیل بە حیرامی پاشای سور بەخشی، چونکە حیرام بەپێی پێویست داری ئورز و سنەوبەر و زێڕی بۆ سلێمان دابین کردبوو.

12 And Hiram came out from Tyre to see the cities which Solomon had given him; but they were not right in his eyes.

بەڵام کاتێک حیرام لە سورەوە بۆ بینینی ئەو شارۆچکانە چوو کە سلێمان پێیدابوو، بە دڵی نەبوون.

13 And he said, What kind of cities are these which thou hast given me, my brother? And he called them, The land of Cabul, until this day.

گوتی: «براکەم، ئەم شارۆچکانە چین کە تۆ بە منت داون؟» ئینجا ناوی لێنان خاکی کاڤول، هەتا ئەمڕۆش بەو ناوە ناودەبردرێت.

14 And Hiram sent to the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold.

حیرام سەد و بیست تالنت زێڕی بۆ پاشا ناردبوو.

15 And this is the manner of the levy which king Solomon raised, to build the house of the Lord, and his own house, and the Millo, and the wall of Jerusalem, and Chazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.

ئەو بێگارییانەی کە سلێمان پاشا بە خەڵکی کرد، ئەمانە بوون: بنیادنانی پەرستگای یەزدان، کۆشکی خۆی، تەلانەکان، شوورای ئۆرشەلیم، حاچۆر، مەگیدۆ، هەروەها گەزەر.

16 (Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and captured Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it as a marriage-present unto his daughter, Solomon's wife.

(فیرعەونی پاشای میسر پێشتر هێرشی کردبووە سەر گەزەر و داگیری کردبوو و سووتاندبووی. کەنعانییەکانی دانیشتووی شارەکەی کوشت و شارەکەی بە دیاری دایە کچەکەی خۆی، واتە ژنەکەی سلێمان. ئینجا سلێمان گەزەری بنیاد نایەوە.)

17 And Solomon built Gezer, and lower Beth-choron,

ئینجا سلێمان گەزەری بنیاد نایەوە، هەروەها بێت‌حۆرۆنی خواروو و

18 And Ba'alath, and Thadmor in the wilderness, in the land,

بەعەلات و تەدمۆری لە چۆڵەوانی لەناو خاکەکەدا ئاوەدان کردەوە،

19 And all the treasure-cities that Solomon had, and the cities for the chariots, and the cities for the horsemen, and the [other] desire of Solomon which he desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and in all the land of his dominion.)

لەگەڵ هەموو کۆگاکانی سلێمان، هەروەها ئەو شارۆچکانەی سەربازگەی گالیسکە و ئەو شارۆچکانەی سەربازگەی ئەسپ سوارەکان و هەموو ئەوەی سلێمان ئارەزووی کرد لە ئۆرشەلیم و لوبنان و لە هەموو خاکی ژێر دەسەڵاتی خۆی بنیادی بنێت.

20 All the people that were left of the Emorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, who were not of the children of Israel,

هەروەها هەموو ئەو خەڵکەی پاشماوەی ئەمۆری و حیتی و پریزی و حیڤی و یەبوسییەکان بوون، کە لە نەوەی ئیسرائیل نەبوون،

21 Their children that were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel had not been able utterly to destroy, these did Solomon levy as tributary laborers until this day.

پاشماوەی ئەم هەموو نەتەوانەی کە نەوەی ئیسرائیل نەیانتوانیبوو بە تەواوی قڕیان بکەن سلێمان وەک کۆیلە بێگاری بەسەردا سەپاندن، هەتا ئەمڕۆش بەسەریان سەپێنراوە.

22 Yet of the children of Israel did Solomon make no one a bond-man; but they were the men of war, and his servants, and his princes, and his captains, and the officers of his chariots, and of his horsemen.

بەڵام سلێمان کەسی لە نەوەی ئیسرائیل نەکردە کۆیلە، چونکە ئەوان پیاوی جەنگ و کاربەدەست، سەرکردە، فەرماندە، ئەفسەری گالیسکە و گالیسکەسوارەکانی بوون.

23 These [also] were the chiefs of the superintendents that were over Solomon's work, five hundred and fifty, who ruled over the people that wrought on the work.

ئەمانەش ئەو کاربەدەستە باڵایانە بوون کە لەسەر کارەکانی سلێمان بوون، پێنج سەد و پەنجا چاودێر لەسەر ئەو خەڵکەی کارەکەیان دەکرد.

24 But Pharaoh's daughter came up out of the city of David unto her house which he had built for her: then did he build the Millo.

پاش ئەوەی کچەکەی فیرعەون لە شاری داودەوە چووە کۆشکەکەی کە سلێمان بۆی بنیاد نابوو، دەستی بە دروستکردنی تەلان کرد.

25 And Solomon did offer three times in every year burnt-offerings and peace-offerings upon the altar which he had built unto the Lord, and he burnt incense upon the one that was before the Lord. So he finished the house.

سلێمان ساڵانە سێ جار قوربانی سووتاندن و قوربانی هاوبەشی سەردەخستە سەر ئەو قوربانگایەی بۆ یەزدانی بنیاد نا، بخووریشی لەگەڵ ئەوەدا دەسووتاند کە لەبەردەم یەزدان بوو، پەرستگاکەی تەواو کرد.

26 And king Solomon made a ship in 'Ezyon-geber, which is near Eloth, on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom.

هەروەها سلێمانی پاشا چەند کەشتییەکی لە عەچیۆن گەڤەر ئەوەی لە نزیک ئێلەتە لەسەر کەناری دەریای سوور لە خاکی ئەدۆم دروستکرد.

27 And Hiram sent in the ship his servants, seamen, that had knowledge of the sea, with the servants of Solomon.

حیرامیش خزمەتکارەکانی خۆی کە کەشتیوان و شارەزای دەریا بوون ناردنییە ناو کەشتییەکان بۆ ئەوەی لەگەڵ خزمەتکارەکانی سلێماندا بن.

28 And they came to Ophir, and fetched from there gold, four hundred and twenty talents, and brought it to king Solomon.

ئیتر چوونە ئۆفیر و لەوێوە چوار سەد و بیست تالنت زێڕیان هەڵگرت و بۆ سلێمانی پاشایان هێنا.
