1 Kings 4
1 Thus was king Solomon king over all Israel.
राजा सोलोमन सारा इस्राएलमाथि राजा भए ।
2 And these were the princes whom he had: 'Azaryahu the son of Zadok the priest;
तिनका अधिकारीहरू यी नै हुन्: सादोकका छोरा अजर्याह पुजारी थिए ।
3 Elichoreph and Achiyah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Achilud, the recorder;
शीशाका छोराहरू एलीहोरेफ र अहियाह सचिवहरू थिए । अहीलूदका छोरा यहोशापात लेखापाल थिए ।
4 And Benayahu the son of Yehoyada' over the army; and Zadok and Ebyathar priests;
यहोयादाका छोरा बनायाह सेनापति थिए । सादोक र पुजारी अबियाथार हरू थिए ।
5 And Azaryahu the son of Nathan was over the superintendents; and Zabud the son of Nathan was an officer of state and the king's friend;
नातानका छोरा अजर्याह जिल्ला-जिल्लाका अधिकृतहरूका जिम्मावाल थिए । नातानका छोरा जाबूद पुजारी र राजाका मित्र थिए ।
6 And Achishar was over the household; and Adoniram the son of 'Abda was over the tribute.
अहीशार राजमहलका जिम्मावाल थिए । अब्दाका छोरा अदोनिराम बेगार काम गर्नेहरूका जिम्मावाल थिए ।
7 And Solomon had twelve superintendents over all Israel, who provided for the king and his household: one month in the year had the particular one to procure provisions.
सारा इस्राएलमा सोलोमनका बाह्र जना जिल्ला-जिल्लाका जिल्लापाल थिए जसले राजा तथा राज घरानालाई भोजन जुटाउने काम गर्थे । हरेक मानिसले वर्षमा एक-एक महिनाको भोजन जुटाउनुपर्थ्यो ।
8 And these are their names: Ben-chur on the mountain of Ephraim;
तिनीहरूका नाउँ यी नै हुन्: एफ्राइमको पहाडी देशमा बेन-हूर;
9 Ben-deker, in Makaz, and in Sha'albim, and Beth-shemesh, and Elon-beth-chanan;
माकाज, शाल्बीम, बेथ-शेमेश र एलोन-बेथहानानमा बेन-देकेर;
10 Ben-chessed, in Arubboth; to him pertained Sochoh and all the land of Chepher;
अरूब्बोतमा बेन-हेसेद (तिनको जिम्मामा सोको र हेपेरका सबै क्षेत्र थिए);
11 Ben-abinadab, in all the district of Dor; he had Taphath the daughter of Solomon for wife;
सारा नापोत डोरमा बेन-अबीनादाब (सोलोमनकी छोरी ताफातलाई तिनले विवाह गरेका थिए);
12 Ba'ana the son of Achilud in Tha'anach and Megiddo, and all Beth-shean, which is by Zarethanah beneath Yizre'el, from Beth-shean to Abel-mecholah, as far as beyond Yokme'am;
तानाक र मगिद्दोसाथै यिजरेलमुनिको सार्तानको छेउमा भएका सारा बेथ-शान, हाबिल-महोला र योक्मामसम्ममा अहीलूदका छोरा बाना;
13 Ben-geber, in Ramoth-gil'ad; to him pertained the villages of Ya'ir the son of Menasseh, which are in Gil'ad; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls and brazen bars;
रामोत-गिलादमा बेन-गेबेर (तिनको जिम्मामा गिलादमा भएका मनश्शेका छोरा याईरका सहरहरू र बाशानमा भएको अर्गोबको क्षेत्रसाथै मूल ढोकामा काँसाका बार भएका पर्खालले घेरिएका साठीवटा ठुला-ठुला सहर पनि थिए);
14 Achinadab the son of 'Iddo in Machanayim;
महनोममा इद्दोका छोरा अहीनादाब;
15 Achima'az in Naphtali; he also took Bahsemath the daughter of Solomon for wife;
नप्तालीमा अहीमास (तिनले सोलोमनकी छोरी बासमतलाई विवाह गरेका थिए);
16 Ba'anah the son of Chushai in Asher and in Be'aloth;
आशेर र आलोतमा हूशैका छोरा बाना;
17 Jehoshaphat the son of Paruach, in Issachar;
इस्साखारमा पारूहका छोरा यहोशापात;
18 Shim'i the son of Ela, in Benjamin;
बेन्यामीनमा एलाका छोरा शिमी;
19 Geber the son of Uri in the country of Gil'ad, the country of Sichon the king of the Emorites, and of 'Og the king of Bashan; besides the one superintendent who was in the land.
गिलादमा ऊरीका छोरा गेबेर (एमोरीहरूका राजा सीहोन र बाशानका राजा ओगको देश), र तिनी त्यस जिल्लाका एक मात्र जिल्लापाल थिए ।
20 Judah and Israel were numerous, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude; and they ate and drank, and made merry.
यहूदा र इस्राएलका मानिसहरू समुद्र छेउका बालुवाजत्तिकै असङ्ख्य थिए । तिनीहरू खाँदै र पिउँदै थिए अनि खुसी थिए ।
21 And Solomon was ruling over all the kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and as far as the boundary of Egypt, which brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
सोलोमनले यूफ्रेटिस नदीदेखि पलिश्तिहरूको देश र मिश्रको सिमानासम्म राज्य गर्थे । सोलोमनको जीवनभर तिनीहरूले तिनीकहाँ कर ल्याए र तिनको सेवा गरे ।
22 And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty kors of fine flour, and sixty kors of meal,
सोलोमनको एक दिनको खाना पचहत्तर मुरी मसिनो पिठो, एक सय पचास मुरी अन्न,
23 Ten fatted oxen, and twenty pasture oxen, and a hundred sheep, besides harts, and roebucks, and fallow-deer, and fatted fowl.
पोसिएका दसवटा गाई-गोरु, खर्कमा पालेका बिसवटा गाई-गोरु, एक सयवटा भेडा-बाख्रा अनि मृग, हरिण, बराँठ र कुखुराहरू थिए ।
24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Thiphsach even to Gazzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.
किनकि तिनले युफ्रेटिस नदीको पश्चिमपट्टिका सबै देश अर्थात् तिफसादेखि गाजासम्मा राज्य गर्थे, र तिनको वरिपरि भएकाहरू सबैसित तिनी शान्तिमा बस्थे ।
25 And Judah and Israel dwelt in safety, every man under his vine and under his fig-tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba', all the days of Solomon.
यहूदा र इस्राएल सुरक्षित थिए । सोलोमनको जीवनभर दानदेखि बेर्शेबासम्म हरेक मानिस आ-आफ्नै दाख र नेभाराको मुनि सुरक्षितसाथ बस्थ्यो ।
26 And Solomon had forty thousand stalls for the horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.
सोलोमनका रथहरूका लागि घोडाहरूका चालिस हजारवटा तबेला, र बाह्र हजार घोडचढी थिए ।
27 And those superintendents provided for king Solomon, and for all that came near unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they let nothing be wanting.
जिल्ला-जिल्लाका अधिकृतहरूले प्रत्येक महिना पालैपालो राजा सोलोमन र तिनको टेबुलमा बसेर खानेहरू सबैका निम्ति भोजन जुटाउँथे । तिनीहरूलाई कुनै कुराको कमी थिएन ।
28 The barley also and the straw for the horses and the runners did they bring unto the place where he might be, every man according to his prescription.
रथका घोडाहरू र अन्य घोडाहरूका लागि पनि तिनीहरूले तोकिएका आ-आफ्नै जौ र पराल ल्याउने गर्थे ।
29 And God gave unto Solomon wisdom and understanding exceedingly much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea-shore.
परमेश्वरले सोलोमनलाई महान् बुद्धि र समुद्रीतटका बालुवाजस्तै फराकिलो समझशक्ति दिनुभयो ।
30 And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.
पूर्वका सबै मानिस र मिश्रका सबै बुद्धिभन्दा सोलोमनको बुद्धि श्रेष्ठ थियो । तिनी सबै मानिसभन्दा बुद्धिमानी थिए ।
31 And he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrachite, and Heman, and Kalkol, and Darda', the sons of Machol: and his name was [spread] among all the nations round about.
तिनी एज्री एतान, माहोलका छोराहरू हेमान, कलकोल र दर्दाभन्दा बुद्धिमानी थिए अनि तिनको ख्याति वरिपरिका सबै जातिहरूमा फैलिएको थियो ।
32 And he spoke three thousand proverbs; and his songs were a thousand and five.
तिनले तिन हजारवटा हितोपदेशको रचना गरे, र तिनका गीतहरूको सङ्ख्या एक हजार पाँचवटा थियो ।
33 And he spoke concerning the trees, from the cedar-tree that is on the Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall; he spoke also concerning the beasts, and concerning the fowl, and concerning the creeping things, and concerning the fishes.
तिनले बोट बिरुवाहरूको विषयमा लेबनानको देवदारुदेखि लिएर भित्तामा उम्रने हिसपसम्मका बिरुवाहरूको वर्णन गरे । तिनले पशुपक्षी, घस्रने प्राणीहरू र माछाको बारेमा पनि वर्णन गरे ।
34 And men came from all the people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all the kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.
सोलोमनको बुद्धि सुन्न सबै जातिका मानिसहरू आउने गर्थे । तिनको बुद्धि सुनेका पृथ्वीका सबै राजाका प्रतिनिधिहरू तिनीकहाँ आउने गर्थे ।
