1 Kings 15
1 Now in the eighteenth year of king Jerobo'am the son of Nebat became Abiyam king over Judah.
১নবাটৰ পুত্ৰ যাৰবিয়ামৰ ৰাজত্বৰ অষ্টাদশ বছৰত অবিয়ামে যিহূদাৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ব কৰিবলৈ আৰম্ভ কৰিলে৷
2 Three years he reigned in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Ma'achah, the daughter of Abishalom.
২তেওঁ তিনি বছৰ যিৰূচালেমত ৰাজত্ব কৰিলে; অবীচালোমৰ জীয়েক মাখা তেওঁৰ মাতৃ আছিল।
3 And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him; and his heart was not entire with the Lord his God, like the heart of David his father.
৩তেওঁৰ পিতৃয়ে পূৰ্বতে কৰাৰ দৰে তেৱোঁ পাপ-আচৰণ কৰিলে। তেওঁৰ ওপৰ পিতৃ দায়ূদৰ মন যেনে সিদ্ধ আছিল, তেওঁৰ মন নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ আগত তেনে সিদ্ধ নাছিল।
4 Nevertheless for the sake of David did the Lord his God give him a rule in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to allow Jerusalem to exist.
৪তথাপি তেওঁৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ সন্তানক গঢ় দিবলৈ আৰু যিৰূচালেমক সবল কৰিবলৈ, তেওঁৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই দায়ূদৰ কাৰণে তেওঁক যিৰূচালেমত এক প্ৰদীপ দিলে।
5 Because David did what is right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from all that he had commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriyah the Hittite.
৫কিয়নো, যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত যি ন্যায়, দায়ূদে তাকেই কৰিছিল; হিত্তীয়া ঊৰিয়াৰ কথাৰ বাহিৰে, তেওঁৰ নিজ আয়ুসৰ গোটেই কালত, যিহোৱাই তেওঁক দিয়া কোনো আজ্ঞাৰ পৰা তেওঁ বিমুখ হোৱা নাছিল।
6 And there had been war between Rehobo'am and Jerobo'am all the days of his life.
৬সেই সময়ত ৰহবিয়াম আৰু যাৰবিয়ামৰ মাজত যি যুদ্ধ চলি আছিল, সেয়ে অবিয়ামৰ আয়ুসৰ সকলো কালত চলি আছিল।
7 And the rest of the acts of Abiyam, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah. And there was [also] war between Abiyam and Jerobo'am.
৭অবিয়ামৰ অবশিষ্ট বৃত্তান্ত, তেওঁৰ সকলো কাৰ্যৰ কথা, যিহূদাৰ ৰজাসকলৰ ইতিহাস-পুস্তকখনত জানো লিখা নাই? সেই সময়ত অবিয়াম আৰু যাৰবিয়ামৰ মাজত যুদ্ধ চলি আছিল।
8 And Abiyam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Assa his son became king in his stead.
৮পাছত অবিয়াম তেওঁ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ লগত নিদ্ৰিত হ’ল আৰু লোকসকলে তেওঁক দায়ূদৰ নগৰত মৈদাম দিলে৷ তাৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ আচা তেওঁৰ পদত ৰজা হ’ল।
9 And in the twentieth year of Jerobo'am the king of Israel became Assa king over Judah.
৯ৰজা যাৰবিয়ামে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত বিশ বছৰ ৰাজত্ব কৰাৰ পাছত আচাই যিহূদাৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিবলৈ ল’লে৷
10 And forty and one years did he reign in Jerusalem. And the name of his mother was Ma'achah, the daughter of Abishalom.
১০তেওঁ একচল্লিশ বছৰ যিৰূচালেমত ৰাজত্ব কৰিছিল; তেওঁৰ আইতাকৰ নাম আছিল মাখা; মাখা আছিল অবীচালোমৰ জীয়েক।
11 And Assa did what is right in the eyes of the Lord, like David his father.
১১আচাই তেওঁৰ ওপৰ পিতৃ দায়ূদৰ দৰে, যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত যি ন্যায়, তাকেই কৰিছিল।
12 And he put away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols which his fathers had made.
১২তেওঁ দেশৰ পৰা ৰতিক্রিয়াত আসক্ত পুৰুষসকলক খেদি পঠালে, আৰু তেওঁৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলে স্থাপন কৰা সকলো মূৰ্তি আতৰালে।
13 And also Ma'achah his mother, even her he removed from being queen; because she had made a scandalous image for the grove; and Assa cut down her scandalous image, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.
১৩আৰু তেওঁৰ আইতাক মাখাই আচেৰা মূৰ্ত্তিৰ এটা ঘিণলগীয়া মূৰ্ত্তি স্থাপন কৰাৰ বাবে, আচাই তেওঁক ৰাজ-মা পদৰ পৰা আতৰাই পঠিয়ালে। আচাই সেই ঘিণলগীয়া মূৰ্ত্তিটো কাটিলে, আৰু তাক কিদ্ৰোণ উপত্যকাত পুৰি পেলালে।
14 But the high-places were not removed; nevertheless Assa's heart was entire with the Lord all his days.
১৪কিন্তু পবিত্ৰ ঠাইবোৰ আতৰাই পেলোৱা নহ’ল; তথাপি আচাই তেওঁৰ আয়ুসৰ সকলো কালত নিজ মন সম্পূৰ্ণৰূপে যিহোৱাক সমৰ্পণ কৰিছিল। সম্পূর্ণৰূপে সমর্পিত আছিল৷
15 And he brought the things which his father had sanctified, and his own sanctified things, into the house of the Lord, silver, and gold, and vessels.
১৫তেওঁৰ নিজ পিতৃয়ে পবিত্ৰ কৰা বস্তু আৰু তেওঁ নিজে পবিত্ৰ কৰা বস্তুবোৰ যেনে ৰূপ, সোণ আদিৰ পাত্ৰবোৰ যিহোৱাৰ গৃহলৈ আনিলে।
16 And there was war between Assa and Ba'sha the king of Israel all their days.
১৬আচা আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা বাচাৰ মাজত তেওঁৰ আয়ুসৰ গোটেই কালত যুদ্ধ চলি আছিল।
17 And Ba'sha the king of Israel went up against Judah, and built Ramah, in order not to suffer any one to go out or come in to Assa the king of Judah.
১৭ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা বাচাই যিহূদাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে হিংসাত্মকভাবে আক্রমণ কৰিছিল, আৰু ৰামাক সাজি দৃঢ় কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে যাতে কোনো লোক যেন যিহূদাৰ ৰজা আচাৰ দেশলৈ আহিব বা এৰি যাব নোৱাৰে৷
18 Then did Assa take all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king's house, and gave them into the hand of his servants; and king Assa sent them to Ben-hadad, the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Chesyon, the king of Syria, who dwelt in Damascus, saying,
১৮পাছত আচাই যিহোৱাৰ গৃহ ভঁৰালৰ অৱশিষ্ট ৰূপ, সোণ আৰু ৰাজগৃহৰ ভঁৰালৰ ধনবোৰ ল’লে৷ তেওঁ সেইবোৰ লৈ তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰৰ হাতত দি তেওঁলোকক হিজিয়োনৰ নাতিয়েক টবৰিম্মোনৰ পুত্ৰ বিন-হদদ নামেৰে দম্মেচকত থকা অৰামীয়া ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠিয়াই দিলে, আৰু তেওঁলোকক এই কথা কৈ পঠিয়ালে যে,
19 A covenant is between me and thee, [as] between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent unto thee a present of silver and gold; go and do break thy covenant with Ba'sha the king of Israel, that he may withdraw from me.
১৯“মোৰ পিতৃ আৰু আপোনাৰ পিতৃৰ মাজত যেনে নিয়ম বন্ধা আছিল, তেনে নিয়ম মোৰ আৰু আপোনাৰ মাজতো বন্ধা হওঁক৷ চাওঁক, মই আপোনালৈ ৰূপ আৰু সোণৰ উপহাৰ পঠিয়াইছোঁ৷ আপুনি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বাচা ৰজাৰ লগত বন্ধা নিয়মটি ভাঙক কাৰণ তেতিয়াহে তেওঁ মোৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা গুচি যাব৷”
20 And Ben-hadad hearkened unto king Assa, and sent the captains of the armies which he had against the cities of Israel, and smote 'Iyon, and Dan, and Abel-beth-ma'achah, and the whole of Kinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.
২০তেতিয়া বিন-হদদে ৰজা আচাৰ কথা শুনি, ইস্ৰায়েলৰ নগৰবোৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে তেওঁৰ সৈন্য বাহিনীৰ সেনাপতিসকলক আক্ৰমণ কৰিবলৈ পঠিয়ালে৷ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে গৈ ইয়োন, দান, আবেল-বৈৎমাখা, গোটেই কিন্নেৰৎ আৰু নপ্তালীৰ সকলো দেশকে আক্ৰমণ কৰিলে।
21 And it came to pass, when Ba'sha heard this, that he left off the building of Ramah, and remained in Tirzah.
২১যেতিয়া বাচাই এই সম্বাদ শুনিলে তেতিয়া তেওঁ ৰামাক সাজি দৃঢ় কৰাৰ কার্য বন্ধ কৰিলে আৰু তিৰ্চালৈ ঘূৰি গ’ল।
22 Then king Assa called together by proclamation all Judah, none being exempted: and they took away the stones of Ramah, and its timber, wherewith Ba'sha had built; and king Assa built with them Geba' of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
২২তেতিয়া ৰজা আচাই সমুদায় যিহূদাক এটি ঘোষণা দিবলৈ মাতিলে; তাতে কোনো এজন লোকৰ অনুপস্থিতিত তেওঁলোকক ৰেহাই দিয়া নাছিল৷ বাচাই যি শিল আৰু কাঠবোৰেৰে ৰামা দৃঢ় কৰিবলৈ ধৰিছিল, ৰামাৰ সেই শিল আৰু কাঠবোৰ সেই লোকসকলে কঢ়িয়াই লৈ গ’ল৷ তাৰ পাছত ৰজা আচাই সেই শিল আৰু কাঠবোৰ ব্যৱহাৰ কৰি বিন্যামীনৰ গেবা আৰু মিস্পা সাজি দৃঢ় কৰিলে।
23 And the rest of all the acts of Assa, and all his mighty deeds, and all that he did, and the cities which he built, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah. Nevertheless in the time of his old age he became diseased in his feet.
২৩আচাৰ অবশিষ্ট বৃত্তান্ত, তেওঁৰ সকলো পৰাক্ৰম, তেওঁ কৰা সকলো কাৰ্য আৰু তেওঁ সাজি দৃঢ় কৰা নগৰবোৰৰ কথা জানো যিহূদাৰ ৰজাসকলৰ ইতিহাস পুস্তকখনত লিখা নাই? কিন্তু তেওঁৰ বৃদ্ধ অৱস্থাত তেওঁৰ ভৰিত বেমাৰ হ’ল।
24 And Assa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoshaphat his son became king in his stead.
২৪পাছত আচা তেওঁ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ লগত নিদ্ৰিত হ’ল আৰু নিজৰ ওপৰ-পিতৃ দায়ূদৰ নগৰত তেওঁৰ পূর্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ লগত তেওঁক মৈদাম দিয়া হ’ল৷ তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যিহোচাফট তেওঁৰ পদত ৰজা হ’ল।
25 And Nadab the son of Jerobo'am became king over Israel in the second year of Assa the king of Judah; and he reigned over Israel two years.
২৫যিহূদাৰ আচা ৰজাৰ ৰাজত্বৰ দ্বিতীয় বছৰত যাৰবিয়ামৰ পুত্ৰ নাদবে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে৷ তেওঁ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত দুবছৰ ৰাজত্ব কৰিছিল।
26 And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, and he walked in the way of his father, and in his sin wherewith he had induced Israel to sin.
২৬তেওঁ নিজৰ পিতৃৰ পথত পাপ আচৰণ কৰি চলিলে, আৰু তেওঁৰ দ্ৱাৰাই ইস্ৰায়েলকো সেই পাপ পথত পৰিচালনা কৰিলে।
27 And Ba'sha the son of Achiyah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him; and Ba'sha smote him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines: while Nadab and all Israel were besieging Gibbethon.
২৭পাছত ইচাখৰৰ বংশৰ অহিয়াৰ পুত্ৰ বাচাই নাদবৰ বিৰুদ্ধে চক্ৰান্ত কৰিলে৷ পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ অধীনত থকা গিব্বথোনত বাচাই তেওঁক বধ কৰিলে, কিয়নো সেই সময়ত নাদব আৰু গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলে গিব্বথোন অৱৰোধ কৰিছিল।
28 And Ba'sha slew him in the third year of Assa the king of Judah, and became king in his stead.
২৮যিহূদাৰ ৰজা আচাৰ ৰাজত্বৰ তৃতীয় বছৰত বাচাই নাদবক বধ কৰিলে, আৰু তেওঁৰ পদত নিজে ৰজা হ’ল।
29 And it came to pass, when he reigned, that he smote all the house of Jerobo'am; he left not any that breathed unto Jerobo'am, until he had destroyed him, according to the word of the Lord, which he had spoken by his servant Achiyah the Shilonite;
২৯তেওঁ ৰজা হোৱা মাত্রকে যাৰবিয়ামৰ গোটেই বংশকে বধ কৰিলে। যিহোৱাই নিজ দাস চীলোনীয়া অহীয়াৰ দ্বাৰাই কোৱা বাক্য অনুসাৰে, তেওঁ যাৰবিয়ামৰ বংশক আনকি নিশ্বাস লবলৈকো কাকো অৱশিষ্ট নাৰাখিলে৷ এইদৰে বাচাই যাৰবিয়ামৰ বংশক সংহাৰ কৰিলে৷
30 Because of the sins of Jerobo'am which he had sinned, and through which he had induced Israel to sin, by his provoking wherewith he provoked the Lord the God of Israel to anger.
৩০যাৰবিয়ামে যি যি পাপ নিজে কৰিছিল আৰু যিবোৰ পাপৰ দ্বাৰাই তেওঁ ইস্ৰায়েলক পাপত লিপ্ত কৰালে, সেই কুকার্যবোৰৰ দ্ৱাৰাই তেওঁ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাক ক্ৰুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ উত্তেজিত কৰাইছিল আৰু সেই কাৰণে এই সকলো ঘটিল।
31 And the rest of the acts of Nadab, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.
৩১নাদবৰ অৱশিষ্ট বৃত্তান্ত, তেওঁ কৰা সকলো কাৰ্যৰ কথা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাসকলৰ ইতিহাস-পুস্তকখনত জানো লিখা নাই?
32 And there was war between Assa and Ba'sha the king of Israel all their days.
৩২আচা আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা বাচাৰ মাজত তেওঁলোকৰ আয়ুসৰ গোটেই কালত যুদ্ধ চলি আছিল।
33 In the third year of Assa the king of Judah became Ba'sha the son of Achiyah king over all Israel, in Thirzah, [for] twenty and four years.
৩৩যিহূদাৰ ৰজা আচাৰ ৰাজত্বৰ তৃতীয় বছৰত অহিয়াৰ পুত্ৰ বাচাই তিৰ্চাত গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে; তেওঁ ছাবিশ বছৰলৈ ৰাজত্ব কৰিছিল।
34 And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, and walked in the way of Jerobo'am, and in his sin wherewith he had induced Israel to sin.
৩৪তেওঁ যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত কু-আচৰণ কৰিলে আৰু যাৰবিয়ামৰ পথত চলি, যাৰবিয়ামে যি পাপৰ দ্বাৰাই ইস্ৰায়েলক পাপ লিপ্ত কৰাইছিল, সেই পাপত তেৱোঁ চলিছিল।
