1 Chronicles 8
1 And Benjamin begat Bela' his first-born, Ashbel the second, and Achrach the third,
Or Benjamin engendra Bélah, qui fut son premier-né, Asbel le second, Achrah le troisième,
2 Nochah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.
Noah le quatrième, et Rapha le cinquième.
3 And Bela' had sons, Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,
Et les enfants de Bélah furent, Addar, Guéra, Abihud.
4 And Abishua', and Na'aman, and Achoach,
Abisuah, Nahaman, Ahoah,
5 And Gera, and Shephuphan, and Churam.
Guéra, Séphuphan, et Huram.
6 And these are the sons of Echud: these are the heads of the family divisions of the inhabitants of Geba', who were exiled to Manachath;
Ce sont là les enfants d'Ehud. Ceux-là étaient chefs des pères des habitants de Guéba, qui furent transportés à Manahath.
7 Both Na'aman, and Achiyah; and Gera, —he exiled them, and begat 'Uzza, and Achichud.
Et Nahaman, et Ahija, et Guéra, qui les transporta; [et] qui après engendra Huza et Ahihud.
8 And Shacharayim begat children in the fields of Moab, after he had sent them away—Chushim and Ba'ara his wives.
Or Saharajim, après les avoir renvoyés, eut des enfants au pays de Moab, de Husim, et de Bahara ses femmes.
9 And he begat of Chodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibya and Mesha, and Malkam,

10 And Je'uz, and Shabyah, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of family divisions.
Jehuts, Socja, et Mirma. Ce sont là ses enfants, chefs des pères.
11 And of Chushim he begat Abitub, and Elpa'al.

12 And the sons of Elpa'al: 'Eber, and Mish'am, and Shemer, who built Ono, and Lod, with its villages;

13 And Beri'ah, and Shema', who were the heads of the family divisions of the inhabitants of Ayalon; these were those who drove away the inhabitants of Gath;
Et Bériha et Sémah furent chefs des pères des habitants d'Ajalon; ils mirent en fuite les habitants de Gath.
14 And Achyo, Shashak, and Jeremoth.
Et Ahio, Sasak, Jérémoth,
15 And Zebadyah, and 'Arad, and 'Eder,
Zébadia, Harad, Héder,
16 And Michael, and Yishpah, and Jocha, the sons of Beri'ah;
Micaël, Jispa, et Joha, enfants de Bériha.
17 And Zebadyah, and Meshullam, and Chiski, and Cheber,
Et Zébadia, Mesullam, Hiski, Héber,
18 And Yishmerai, and Yizliah, and Jobab, the sons of Elpa'al:
Jisméraï, Jizlia, et Jobab, enfants d'Elpahal.
19 And Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
Et Jakim, Zicri, Zabdi,
20 And Eli'enai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,
Elihenaï, Tsillethaï, Eliël,
21 And 'Adayah, and Berayah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shim'i:
Hadaja, Beraja, et Simrath, enfants de Simhi.
22 And Yishpan, and 'Eber, and Eliel,
Et Jispan, Héber, Eliël,
23 And 'Abdon, and Zichri, and Chanan,
Habdon, Zicri, Hanan,
24 And Chananyah, and 'Elam, and 'Anthothiyah,
Hananja, Hélam, Hantothija,
25 And Yiphdeyah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak:
Jiphdeja et Pénuël, enfants de Sasak.
26 And Shamsherai, and Shecharyah, and Athalyah,
Et Samseraï, Seharia, Hathalija,
27 And Ja'areshyah, and Eliyah, and Zichri, the sons of Jerocham.
Jaharésia, Elija, et Zicri, enfants de Jéroham.
28 These were the heads of the family divisions, by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.
Ce sont là les chefs des pères selon les générations qui furent chefs; et ils habitèrent à Jérusalem.
29 And at Gib'on dwelt the father of Gib'on, whose wife's name was Ma'achah;
Et le père de Gabaon habita à Gabaon, sa femme avait nom Mahaca.
30 And his first-born son 'Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Ba'al, and Nadab,
Et son fils premier-né fut Habdon, puis Tsur, Kis, Bahal, Nadab,
31 And Gedor, and Achyo, and Zecher.
Guédor, Ahio, et Zeker.
32 And Mikloth begat Shimah. And these also dwelt alongside of their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.
Et Mikloth engendra Siméa. Ils habitèrent aussi vis-à-vis de leurs frères à Jérusalem, avec leurs frères.
33 And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jehonathan and Malkishua', and Abinadab, and Eshba'al.
Et Ner engendra Kis, et Kis engendra Saül, et Saül engendra Jonathan, Malki-suah, Abinadab, et Esbahal.
34 And the son of Jehonathan was Merib-ba'al; and Merib-ba'al begat Michah.
Le fils de Jonathan fut Mérib-bahal; et Mérib-bahal engendra Mica.
35 And the sons of Michah were, Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea', and Achaz.
Et les enfants de Mica furent, Pithon, Mélec, Taréah, et Achaz.
36 And Achaz begat Jeho'addah; and Jeho'addah begat 'Alemeth, and 'Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza;
Et Achaz engendra Jéhohadda; et Jéhohadda engendra Halemeth, Hasmaveth, et Zimri; et Zimri engendra Motsa.
37 And Moza begat Bin'ah; Rapha was his son, El'assah his son, Azel his son.
Et Motsa engendra Binha, qui eut pour fils Rapha, qui eut pour fils Elhasa, qui eut pour fils Atsel.
38 And Azel had six sons, and these are their names, 'Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and She'aryah, and 'Obadiah, and Chanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
Et Atsel eut six fils, dont les noms sont, Hazrikam, Bocru, Ismaël, Séharia, Hobadia, et Hanan; tous ceux-là furent enfants d'Atsel.
39 And the sons of 'Eshek his brother were, Ulam his first-born, Je'ush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
Et les enfants de Hesek son frère furent, Ulam son premier-né, Jéhu le second, Eliphelet le troisième.
40 And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, who drew the bow, and had many sons, and sons' sons, one hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.
Et les enfants d'Ulam furent des hommes forts et vaillants, tirant bien de l'arc, et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, jusqu'à cent cinquante; tous des enfants de Benjamin.
