1 Chronicles 7
1 And the sons of Issachar were, Tola', and Puah, Yashub, and Shimron, four.
Fils d'Issacar: Thola, Pua, Jashub et Shimron, quatre.
2 And the sons of Tola': 'Uzzi, and Rephayah, and Jeriel, and Jachmai, and Yibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their family divisions, of Tola', being valiant men of might, after their descent. Their number in the days of David was two and twenty thousand and six hundred.
Fils de Thola: Uzzi, Réphaja, Jériel, Jachmaï, Jibsam et Samuel, chefs des maisons de leurs pères, de Thola, vaillants guerriers. Ils furent inscrits selon leur naissance; leur nombre au temps de David était de vingt-deux mille six cents.
3 And the sons of 'Uzzi: Yizrachyah. And the sons of Yizrachyah: Michael, and 'Obadiah, and Joel, Yishiyah, five, chief men all of them.
Fils d'Uzzi: Jizrachia. Fils de Jizrachia: Micaël, Obadia, Joël et Jishija, en tout cinq chefs;
4 And with them according to their descent, after their family divisions, were bands of the army for war, six and thirty thousand men; for they had many wives and sons.
Avec eux, inscrits selon leur naissance, selon les maisons de leurs pères, il y avait en troupes d'armée de guerre trente-six mille hommes; car ils avaient beaucoup de femmes et de fils.
5 And their brethren of all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, eighty and seven thousand reckoned by their genealogies in all.
Leurs frères, selon toutes les familles d'Issacar, vaillants guerriers, étaient en tout quatre-vingt-sept mille, enregistrés dans les généalogies.
6 Of Benjamin: Bela', and Becher, and Jedi'ael, three.
Fils de Benjamin: Béla, Béker et Jédiaël, trois.
7 And the sons of Bela': Ezbon, and 'Uzzi, and 'Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and 'Iri, five, heads of family divisions, being mighty men of valor; and they were reckoned by their genealogies twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.
Fils de Béla: Etsbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jérimoth, Iri; cinq chefs des maisons de leurs pères, vaillants guerriers, et enregistrés dans les généalogies au nombre de vingt-deux mille trente-quatre.
8 And the sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Jo'ash, and Eli'ezer, and Elyo'enai, and 'Omri, and Jeremoth, and Abiyah, and 'Anathoth, and 'Alemeth. All these are the sons of Becher.
Fils de Béker: Zémira, Joas, Éliézer, Eljoénaï, Omri, Jérémoth, Abija, Anathoth et Alémeth; tous ceux-là étaient fils de Béker.
9 And reckoned by their genealogy after their descent, heads of their family divisions, mighty men of valor, there were twenty thousand and two hundred.
Et ils furent enregistrés dans les généalogies selon leurs naissances, comme chefs des maisons de leurs pères, vaillants guerriers, au nombre de vingt mille deux cents.
10 And the sons of Jedi'ael: Bilhan. And the sons of Bilhan: Je'ush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Kena'anah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Achishachar.
Fils de Jédiaël: Bilhan. Fils de Bilhan: Jéush, Benjamin, Éhud, Kénaana, Zéthan, Tarsis et Ahishachar.
11 All these the sons of Jedi'ael by the heads of their divisions, being mighty men of valor, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, fit to go out to the army for war.
Tous ceux-là enfants de Jédiaël, chefs des maisons de leurs pères, vaillants guerriers, au nombre de dix-sept mille deux cents, allant à l'armée pour la guerre.
12 And Shuppim, and Chuppim, the children of 'Ir, and Chushim, the sons of Acher.
Shuppim et Huppim, fils d'Ir; Hushim, fils d'Acher.
13 The sons of Naphtali: Jachziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.
Fils de Nephthali: Jahtsiel, Guni, Jetser et Shallum, fils de Bilha.
14 The sons of Menasseh: Assriel, whom [his wife] bore; his concubine the Aramitess bore Machir the father of Gil'ad.
Fils de Manassé: Asriel qu'enfanta sa concubine araméenne; elle enfanta Makir, père de Galaad.
15 And Machir took for wife [the sister] of Chuppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Ma'achah. And the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.
Makir prit une femme de Huppim et de Shuppim. Le nom de sa sœur était Maaca. Le nom du second fils était Tsélophcad; et Tsélophcad eut des filles.
16 And Ma'achah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rekem.
Maaca, femme de Makir, enfanta un fils, et elle l'appela Pérèsh; le nom de son frère était Shérèsh, et ses fils étaient Ulam et Rékem.
17 And the sons of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gil'ad, the son of Machir, the son of Menasseh.
Fils d'Ulam: Bédan. Ce sont là les enfants de Galaad, fils de Makir, fils de Manassé.
18 And his sister Hammolecheth bore Isshod, and Abi'ezer, and Machlah.
Sa sœur Hammoléketh enfanta Ishod, Abiézer et Machla.
19 And the sons of Shemida' were, Achyan, and Shechem, and Likchi, and Ani'am.
Les fils de Shémida étaient: Achian, Shékem, Likchi et Aniam.
20 And the sons of Ephraim: Shuthelach, and Bered his son, and Tachath his son, and El'adah his son, and Tachath his son,
Fils d'Éphraïm: Shuthélach; Béred, son fils; Jachath, son fils; Éleada, son fils; Tachath, son fils;
21 And Zabad his son, and Shuthelach his son, and 'Ezer, and El'ad, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew, when they came down to take away their cattle.
Zabad, son fils; Shutélach, son fils; Ézer et Élead. Les hommes de Gath, nés au pays, les tuèrent parce qu'ils étaient descendus pour prendre leurs troupeaux.
22 And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.
Éphraïm, leur père, fut longtemps dans le deuil, et ses frères vinrent pour le consoler.
23 And he went in to his wife, and she conceived, and bore a son, and he called his name Beri'ah, because misfortune had come into his house.
Puis il alla vers sa femme, qui conçut et enfanta un fils; il l'appela du nom de Béria (dans le malheur), parce que le malheur était dans sa maison.
24 And his daughter was Sheerah, who built Beth-choron the lower, and the upper, and Uzzen-sheerah.
Sa fille était Shéera, qui bâtit la basse et la haute Beth-Horon, et Uzen-Shéera.
25 And Rephach was his son, also Resheph, and Telach his son, and Tachan his son.
Il eut pour fils Réphach, et Résheph; puis vinrent Thélach, son fils; Tachan, son fils;
26 La'dan his son, 'Ammihud his son, Elishama' his son,
Laedan, son fils; Ammihud, son fils; Élishama, son fils;
27 Non his son, Jehoshua' his son.
Nun, son fils; Josué, son fils.
28 And their possessions and dwelling-places were, Beth-el and its villages, and at the east Na'aran, and at the west Gezer, with its villages, and Shechem with its villages, as far as Gazzah and its villages.
Leur propriété et leur habitation était Béthel et les villes de son ressort; à l'orient, Naaran; à l'occident, Guézer et les villes de son ressort, Sichem et les villes de son ressort, jusqu'à Gaza et les villes de son ressort;
29 And by the borders of the children of Menasseh: Beth-shean and its villages, Ta'nach and its villages, Megiddo and its villages, Dor and its villages. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.
Les fils de Manassé possédaient Beth-Shéan et les villes de son ressort; Thaanac et les villes de son ressort; Méguiddo et les villes de son ressort; Dor et les villes de son ressort. Dans ces villes habitèrent les enfants de Joseph, fils d'Israël.
30 The sons of Asher: Yimnah, and Yishvah, and Yishvi, and Beri'ah, and Serach their sister.
Enfants d'Asser: Jimna, Jishva, Jishvi, Béria, et Sérach, leur sœur.
31 And the sons of Beri'ah: Cheber, and Malkiel, who is the father of Birzavith.
Fils de Béria: Héber et Malkiel, celui-ci fut père de Birzavith.
32 And Cheber begat Yaphlet, and Shomer, and Chotham, and Shu'a their sister.
Héber engendra Japhlet, Shomer, Hotham, et Shua, leur sœur.
33 And the sons of Yaphiet: Passach, and Bimhal, and 'Ashvath. These are the children of Yaphlet.
Fils de Japhlet: Pasac, Bimhal et Ashvath. Ce sont là les fils de Japhlet.
34 And the sons of Shemer: Achi, and Rohgah, and Chubbah and Aram.
Fils de Shémer: Achi, Rohéga, Hubba et Aram.
35 And the sons of his brother Helem: Zophach, and Yimna', and Shelesh, and 'Amal
Fils de Hélem, son frère: Tsophach, Jimna, Shellesh et Amal.
36 The sons of Zophach: Suach, and Charnepher, and Shu'al, and Berl, and Yimrah,
Fils de Tsophach: Suach, Harnépher, Shual, Béri, Jimra,
37 Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Yithran, and Beera.
Betser, Hod, Shamma, Shilsha, Jithran et Béera.
38 And the sons of Jether: Jephunneh, and Pisspah, and Ara.
Fils de Jéther: Jéphunné, Pispa et Ara.
39 And the sons of 'Ulla: Arach, and Chaniel, and Rizya.
Fils d'Ulla: Arach, Hanniel et Ritsia.
40 All these were the children of Asher, heads of their family divisions, selected mighty men of valor, chiefs of the princes. And being recorded according to their genealogy for the army for the war, their number was of men twenty and six thousand.
Tous ceux-là étaient enfants d'Asser, chefs des maisons de leurs pères, hommes choisis, vaillants guerriers, chefs des princes, enregistrés dans l'armée, pour la guerre, au nombre de vingt-six mille hommes.
