1 Chronicles 27
1 And [these are] the children of Israel after their number; [to wit, ] the chiefs of the family divisions and the captains of the thousands and the hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, that came in and went out month by month, throughout all the months of the year, every division being twenty and four thousand.
੧ਹੁਣ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਏ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਸੈਂਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਆਇਆ ਜਾਇਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਸੋ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
2 Over the first division for the first month was Jashob'am the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੨ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਬਦੀਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਾਸ਼ਾਬਆਮ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
3 [He] of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the armies for the first month.
੩ਪਰਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਹ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਪਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀਆ ਸੀ
4 And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Achochite, and of his division was Mikloth also the ruler; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੪ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਹੋਹੀ ਦੋਦਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਿਕਲੋਥ ਹਾਕਮ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
5 The third captain of the army for the third month was Benayahu the son of Jehoyada', the priest, the chief; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੫ਤੀਜੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਤੀਜੀ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
6 This Benayahu was the mighty among the thirty, and [set] over the thirty'; and of his division was 'Ammizabad his son.
੬ਇਹ ਉਹ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੀਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਹਾਂ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੀਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅੰਮੀਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ ਸੀ
7 The fourth for the fourth month was 'Assahel the brother of Joab, with Zebadyah his son after him; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੭ਚੌਥੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਚੌਥਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਯੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਅਸਾਹੇਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜ਼ਬਦਯਾਹ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
8 The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Yizrachite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੮ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸ਼ਮਹੂਥ ਇਜ਼ਰਾਹੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
9 The sixth for the sixth month was 'Ira the son of 'Ikkesh the Theko'ite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੯ਛੇਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਛੇਵਾਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਤਕੋਈ ਇੱਕੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਈਰਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
10 The seventh for the seventh month was Chelez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੧੦ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੱਤਵਾਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਲਸ ਪਲੋਨੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
11 The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Chushathite, of the Zarchites: and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੧੧ਅੱਠਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅੱਠਵਾਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਹੁਸ਼ਾਥੀ ਸਿਬਕੀ ਜ਼ਰਹੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
12 The ninth for the ninth month was Abi'ezer the 'Anthothite, of Benjamin; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੧੨ਨੌਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਲਈ ਨੌਵਾਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੰਨਥੋਥੀ ਅਬੀਅਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
13 The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarchites; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੧੩ਦਸਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਲਈ ਦਸਵਾਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਜ਼ਰਹੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਹਰਈ ਨਟੋਫਾਥੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
14 The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benayah the Pir'athonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੧੪ਗਿਆਰਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਲਈ ਗਿਆਰਵਾਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਿਰਾਥੋਨੀ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ
15 The twelfth for the twelfth month was Cheldai the Netophathite, of 'Othniel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
੧੫ਬਾਰਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਲਈ ਬਾਰਵਾਂ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਆਥਨੀਏਲ ਤੋਂ ਨਟੋਫਾਥੀ ਹਲਦਈ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਵੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਨ।
16 Moreover over the tribes of Israel: Of the Reubenites was ruler Eli'ezer the son of Zichri; of the Simeonites, Shephatyahu the son of Ma'achah;
੧੬ਉਪਰੰਤ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਿਆਂ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਇਹ ਸਨ, ਰਊਬੇਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਾਕਮ ਜ਼ਿਕਰੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲੀਅਜ਼ਰ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਿਮਓਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਆਕਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਫਟਯਾਹ
17 Of the Levites, Chashabyah the son of Kamuel; of [the sons of] Aaron, Zadok;
੧੭ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦਾ, ਕਮੂਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਸ਼ਬਯਾਹ, ਹਾਰੂਨ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਦਾ ਸਾਦੋਕ,
18 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, 'Omri the son of Michael;
੧੮ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦਾ, ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਲੀਹੂ। ਯਿੱਸਾਕਾਰ ਦਾ, ਮੀਕਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਮਰੀ,
19 Of Zebulun, Yishma'yahu the son of 'Obadyahu; of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of 'Azriel;
੧੯ਜ਼ਬੂਲੁਨ ਦਾ, ਓਬਦਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਿਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ। ਨਫ਼ਤਾਲੀ ਦਾ, ਅਜ਼ਰੀਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਰੀਮੋਥ,
20 Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of 'Azazyahu; of the half tribe of Menasseh, Joel the son of Pedayahu;
੨੦ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ, ਅਜ਼ਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੋਸ਼ੇਆ। ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੀ ਗੋਤ ਦਾ, ਪਦਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਏਲ,
21 Of the half tribe of Menasseh in Gil'ad, Yiddo the son of Zecharyahu; of Benjamin, 'Ja'assiel the son of Abner;
੨੧ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਧੇ ਗੋਤ ਦਾ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਵੱਲ ਜ਼ਕਰਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਿੱਦੋ। ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦਾ, ਅਬਨੇਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਅਸੀਏਲ,
22 Of Dan, 'Azarel the son of Jerocham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
੨੨ਦਾਨ ਦਾ, ਯਰੋਹਾਮ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਜ਼ਰਏਲ। ਇਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਗੋਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ।
23 But David took not their number from twenty years old and under; because the Lord had said he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.
੨੩ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵੀਹ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਉਮਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਚਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਵਧਾਵਾਂਗਾ
24 Joab the son of Zeruyah began to number [them]; but he finished not, and there came wrath because of it against Israel: and the number was not entered in the account of the chronicles of king David.
੨੪ਸਰੂਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਆਬ ਨੇ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਅਰੰਭ ਕੀਤਾ ਪਰ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਇਸੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਿ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦਾਊਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੇ ਵਰਨਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਿਖੀ ਗਈ।
25 And over the king's treasures was 'Azmaveth the son of 'Adiel; and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of 'Uzziyahu.
੨੫ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਦੀਏਲ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਜ਼ਮਾਵਥ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਨਗਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਗੜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉੱਜ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਨਾਥਾਨ ਸੀ
26 And over those that did the work of the field, in the tillage of the ground, was 'Ezri the son of Kelub.
੨੬ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਬੀਜਦੇ ਸਨ, ਕਲੂਬ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਜ਼ਰੀ ਸੀ
27 And over the vineyards was Shim'i the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards, as regardeth the supplies of wine, was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
੨੭ਅਤੇ ਦਾਖ਼ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ਼ਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਈ ਰਾਮਾਥੀ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਦਾਖ਼ ਦੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਖ਼ਰਸ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਫਮੀ ਵਾਲਾ ਸੀ
28 And over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowlands was Ba'al-chanan the Gederite: and over the supplies of oil was Jo'ash.
੨੮ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੈਤੂਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁੱਲਰ ਦੇ ਬੂਟਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਿਵਾਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ, ਬਆਲਹਾਨਾਨ ਗਦੇਰੀ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਸ਼ ਤੇਲ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ
29 And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of 'Adlai.
੨੯ਅਤੇ ਗਊਆਂ ਬਲ਼ਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਗਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸ਼ਾਰੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਸ਼ਿਟਰਈ ਸ਼ਾਰੋਨੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਲਾਇ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਾਫਾਟ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਗਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਿਵਾਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ,
30 And over the camels was Obil the Ishma'elite; and over the she-asses was Yechdeyahu the Meronothite.
੩੦ਅਤੇ ਓਬੀਲ ਇਸਮਾਏਲੀ ਊਠਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਧੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਹਦੇਯਾਹ ਮੇਰੋਨੋਥੀ ਸੀ
31 And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerene. All these were the rulers of the property which belonged to king David.
੩੧ਅਤੇ ਯਾਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ਹਗਰੀ ਇੱਜੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਦਾਊਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਮਾਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ।
32 Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, being a man of understanding and acquainted with law; and Jeshiel the son of Chachmoni was with the king's sons;
੩੨ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਚਾਚਾ ਯੋਨਾਥਾਨ ਵੀ ਵਜ਼ੀਰ, ਬੁੱਧਵਾਨ ਤੇ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੀਏਲ ਹਕਮੋਨੀ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ
33 And Achithophel was the king's counsellor; and Chushai the Arkite was the king's friend;
੩੩ਅਤੇ ਅਹੀਥੋਫ਼ਲ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੂਸ਼ਈ ਅਰਕੀ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਸੀ
34 And after Achithophel [came] Jehoyada' the son of Benayahu and Ebyathar; and the captain of the king's army was Joab.
੩੪ਅਤੇ ਅਹੀਥੋਫ਼ਲ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਯਹੋਯਾਦਾ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਬਯਾਥਾਰ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਬ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਦਲ ਦਾ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਸੀ।
