1 Chronicles 27
1 And [these are] the children of Israel after their number; [to wit, ] the chiefs of the family divisions and the captains of the thousands and the hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, that came in and went out month by month, throughout all the months of the year, every division being twenty and four thousand.

2 Over the first division for the first month was Jashob'am the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Yasobeyamu mutabani wa Zabudyeri ye yavunaanyizibwanga ekibinja ekisooka, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
3 [He] of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the armies for the first month.
Yali muzzukulu wa Perezi, ate nga mukulu w’abaami b’eggye mu mwezi ogwasooka
4 And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Achochite, and of his division was Mikloth also the ruler; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Dodayi Omwakowa ye yavunaanyizibwanga ekibinja eky’omwezi ogwokubiri nga Mikuloosi ye mukulu ow’ekibinja ekyo. Mwalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya mu kibinja ekyo.
5 The third captain of the army for the third month was Benayahu the son of Jehoyada', the priest, the chief; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Benaya mutabani wa Yekoyaada kabona ye yali omuduumizi ow’eggye owookusatu mu mwezi gwokusatu, era yali mwami. Kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
6 This Benayahu was the mighty among the thirty, and [set] over the thirty'; and of his division was 'Ammizabad his son.
Oyo ye Benaya eyali omusajja ow’amaanyi mu bali amakumi asatu, era nga ye mukulu mu bo. Mutabani we Ammizabaadi yavunaanyizibwanga ekibinja ekyo.
7 The fourth for the fourth month was 'Assahel the brother of Joab, with Zebadyah his son after him; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Asakeri muganda wa Yowaabu ye yavunaanyizibwanga ekibinja ekyokuna mu mwezi ogwokuna, era mutabani we Zebadiya ye yamusikira. Ekibinja ekyo kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
8 The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Yizrachite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Samukusi Omuyizula ye yali omuduumizi ow’ekibinja ekyokutaano mu mwezi ogwokutaano, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
9 The sixth for the sixth month was 'Ira the son of 'Ikkesh the Theko'ite; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Ira mutabani wa Ikkesi Omutekowa ye yali omukulu ow’ekibinja eky’omukaaga mu mwezi ogw’omukaaga, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
10 The seventh for the seventh month was Chelez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Kerezi Omuperoni, ate nga muzzukulu wa Efulayimu ye yali omukulu ow’ekibinja eky’omusanvu mu mwezi ogw’omusanvu, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
11 The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Chushathite, of the Zarchites: and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Seibbekayi Omukusasi, ate nga wa ku Bazera ye yali omukulu ow’ekibinja eky’omunaana mu mwezi ogw’omunaana, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
12 The ninth for the ninth month was Abi'ezer the 'Anthothite, of Benjamin; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Abiyezeeri Omwanasosi, ate nga wa ku Babenyamini ye yali omukulu ow’ekibinja eky’omwenda mu mwezi ogw’omwenda, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
13 The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarchites; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Makalayi Omunetofa, ate nga wa ku Bazera ye yali omukulu ow’ekibinja eky’ekkumi mu mwezi ogw’ekkumi, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
14 The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benayah the Pir'athonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Benaya Omupirasoni, ate nga muzzukulu wa Efulayimu ye yali omukulu ow’ekibinja eky’ekkumi n’omu mu mwezi ogw’ekkumi n’ogumu, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
15 The twelfth for the twelfth month was Cheldai the Netophathite, of 'Othniel; and in his division were twenty and four thousand.
Kerudayi Omwetofa, ow’omu nnyumba ya Osuniyeri, ye yali omukulu ow’ekibinja eky’ekkumi n’ababiri mu mwezi ogw’ekkumi n’ebiri, era kyalimu abasajja emitwalo ebiri mu enkumi nnya.
16 Moreover over the tribes of Israel: Of the Reubenites was ruler Eli'ezer the son of Zichri; of the Simeonites, Shephatyahu the son of Ma'achah;
Abataka ab’ebika bya Isirayiri baali: eyafuganga Abalewubeeni yali Eryeza mutabani wa Zikuli; eyafuganga Abasimyoni yali Sefatiya mutabani wa Maaka;
17 Of the Levites, Chashabyah the son of Kamuel; of [the sons of] Aaron, Zadok;
eyafuganga Leevi yali Kasabiya mutabani wa Kemweri; eyafuganga Alooni yali Zadooki;
18 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, 'Omri the son of Michael;
eyafuganga Yuda yali Eriku, omu ku baganda ba Dawudi; eyafuganga Isakaali yali Omuli mutabani wa Mikayiri;
19 Of Zebulun, Yishma'yahu the son of 'Obadyahu; of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of 'Azriel;
eyafuganga Zebbulooni yali Isumaaya mutabani wa Obadiya; eyafuganga Nafutaali yali Yeremozi mutabani wa Azulyeri;
20 Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of 'Azazyahu; of the half tribe of Menasseh, Joel the son of Pedayahu;
eyafuganga Abefulayimu yali Koseya mutabani wa Azaziya; eyafuganga ekitundu ky’ekika kya Manase yali Yoweeri mutabani wa Pedaya;
21 Of the half tribe of Menasseh in Gil'ad, Yiddo the son of Zecharyahu; of Benjamin, 'Ja'assiel the son of Abner;
eyafuganga ekitundu ky’ekika kya Manase ekirala ekyabeeranga mu Gireyaadi yali Iddo mutabani wa Zekkaliya; eyafuganga Benyamini yali Yaasiyeri mutabani wa abuneeri;
22 Of Dan, 'Azarel the son of Jerocham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
n’eyafuganga Ddaani yali Azaleri mutabani wa Yerokamu. Abo be baali abataka abaakuliranga ebika bya Isirayiri.
23 But David took not their number from twenty years old and under; because the Lord had said he would multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.
Dawudi teyabala muwendo ogw’abasajja abaali abaakamaze emyaka abiri n’abaali tebanaba kugituusa, kubanga Mukama yali asuubiza okufuula Abayisirayiri abangi ng’emmunyeenye ez’omu ggulu.
24 Joab the son of Zeruyah began to number [them]; but he finished not, and there came wrath because of it against Israel: and the number was not entered in the account of the chronicles of king David.

25 And over the king's treasures was 'Azmaveth the son of 'Adiel; and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of 'Uzziyahu.
Azumavesi mutabani wa Adyeri yavunaanyizibwanga amawanika ga kabaka, ne Yonasaani mutabani wa Uzziya n’avunaanyizibwanga amawanika ag’amasaza n’ag’ebibuga, ag’ebyalo, n’ag’ebigo.
26 And over those that did the work of the field, in the tillage of the ground, was 'Ezri the son of Kelub.
Ezuli mutabani wa Kerubu ye yavunaanyizibwanga abalimi ab’omu nnimiro.
27 And over the vineyards was Shim'i the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards, as regardeth the supplies of wine, was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
Simeeyi Omulaama ye yavunaanyizibwanga ennimiro z’emizabbibu, ne Zabudi Omusifumu ye n’avunaanyizibwanga ebibala eby’ennimiro olw’amasenero ag’omwenge.
28 And over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowlands was Ba'al-chanan the Gederite: and over the supplies of oil was Jo'ash.
Baalukanani Omugedera ye yavunaanyizibwanga emizeeyituuni n’emisukomooli egyali mu nsenyi ez’ebugwanjuba; ne Yowaasi ye n’avunaanyizibwanga amawanika g’amafuta.
29 And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of 'Adlai.
Situlayi Omusaloni ye yavunaanyizibwanga ebisibo mu Saloni, ne Safati mutabani wa Adulayi n’avunaanyizibwanga ebisibo ebyali mu biwonvu.
30 And over the camels was Obil the Ishma'elite; and over the she-asses was Yechdeyahu the Meronothite.
Obiri Omuyisimayiri ye yavunaanyizibwanga eŋŋamira, ne Yedeya Omumeronoosi ye n’avunaanyizibwanga endogoyi.
31 And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerene. All these were the rulers of the property which belonged to king David.
Yazizi Omukaguli ye yavunaanyizibwanga ebisibo eby’endiga. Abo bonna be baali abakungu ba kabaka Dawudi abaavunaanyizibwanga ebintu bye.
32 Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, being a man of understanding and acquainted with law; and Jeshiel the son of Chachmoni was with the king's sons;
Yonasaani, kitaawe wa Dawudi omuto yali muteesa wa bigambo, era nga musajja mutegeevu omuwandiisi, ne Yekyeri mutabani wa Kakumoni ye yali mukuza w’abalangira.
33 And Achithophel was the king's counsellor; and Chushai the Arkite was the king's friend;
Akisoferi naye yali muteesa wa kabaka, ate nga Kusaayi Omwaluki ye mukwano gwa kabaka nnyo.
34 And after Achithophel [came] Jehoyada' the son of Benayahu and Ebyathar; and the captain of the king's army was Joab.
Yekoyaada mutabani wa Benaya ne Abiyasaali be badda mu bigere bya Akisoferi. Yowaabu ye yali muduumizi w’eggye lya kabaka.
