1 Chronicles 25
1 David also divided off with the chiefs of the host for the service of the sons of Assaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, those who uttered praise [accompanied] with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and their number was of the men [that did] the work in their service.
Asimismo David y los jefes del ejército apartaron para el ministerio a algunos de los hijos de Asaf, Hemán y Jedutún, quienes cantaban salmos proféticos al son de arpas, salterios y címbalos. El número de los hombres idóneos para la obra de su ministerio, fue:
2 Of the sons of Assaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethanyah, and Asharelah, the sons of Assaph under the supervision of Assaph, who uttered praise under the supervision of the king.
De los hijos de Asaf, Zacur, José, Netanías y Asarela, a cargo de Asaf, quien cantaba salmos proféticos al lado del rey.
3 Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedalyahu, and Zeri, and Jesha'yahu, Chashahyahu, and Matthithyahu, six, under the supervision of their father Jeduthun, who uttered praise with a harp, in order to give thanks and to utter praise unto the Lord.
De Jedutún, los hijos de Jedutún, Gedalías, Zeri, Jesaías, Asabais y Matatías, seis, bajo la dirección de su padre Jedutún, el cual también cantaba salmos proféticos al son del arpa para aclamar y alabar a Yavé.
4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiyahu, Matthanyahu, 'Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Chananyah, Chanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-'ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Machaz'oth;
De Hemán, los hijos de Hemán: Buquías, Matanías, Uziel, Sebuel, Jeremot, Hananías, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti-ezer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir y Mahaziot.
5 All these sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, were to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
Todos éstos eran los hijos de Hemán, vidente del rey, y tenían Palabras de ʼElohim para exaltar su poder, pues ʼElohim dio a Hemán 14 hijos y tres hijas.
6 All these were under the supervision of their father at the singing in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, under the supervision of the king, Assaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
Todos ellos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre, en el canto de la Casa de Yavé, con acompañamiento de címbalos, salterios y arpas, para el ministerio del Santuario de ʼElohim. Asaf, Jedutún y Hemán estaban bajo la dirección del rey.
7 And their number, with their brethren that were practised in singing unto the Lord, even all that were acquainted [therewith], was two hundred eighty and eight.
El número de ellos, juntamente con sus hermanos instruidos en el canto a Yavé, todos aptos, era 288.
8 And they cast lots, division against [division], the small well as the great, the one acquainted with his business together with the scholar.
Echaron suertes para establecer los turnos del servicio, en el cual entraba tanto el pequeño con el grande, tanto el maestro como el discípulo.
9 And there came forth the first lot for Assaph for Joseph; Gedalyahu was the second, he with his brethren and sons, being twelve:
La primera suerte tocó a José, de los de Asaf, la segunda a Gedalías, quien con sus hermanos e hijos fueron 12;
10 The third was Zaccur, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:
la tercera a Zacur, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
11 The fourth was for Yizri, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la cuarta a Izri, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
12 The fifth was Nethanyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:
la quinta a Netanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
13 The sixth was Bukkiyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve:
la sexta a Buquías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
14 The seventh was Jessarelah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la séptima a Jesarela, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
15 The eighth was Jesha'yahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la octava a Jesahías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
16 The ninth was Matthanyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la novena a Matanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
17 The tenth was Shim'i, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la décima a Simei, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
18 The eleventh was 'Asarel, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la undécima a Azareel, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
19 The twelfth was for Chashahyah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la duodécima a Hasabías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
20 The thirteenth was Shuhael, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la decimotercera a Subael, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
21 The fourteenth was Matthithyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la decimocuarta a Matatías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
22 The fifteenth was for Jeremoth, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la decimoquinta a Jeremot, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
23 The sixteenth was for Chananyahu, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la decimosexta a Hananías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
24 The seventeenth was for Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la decimoséptima a Josbecasa, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
25 The eighteenth was for Chanani, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la decimoctava a Hanani, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
26 The nineteenth was for Mallothi, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la decimonovena a Maloti, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
27 The twentieth was for Eliyathah, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la vigésima a Eliata, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
28 The one and twentieth was for Hothir, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la vigesimoprimera a Hotir, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
29 The two and twentieth was for Giddalthi, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la vigesimosegunda a Gidalti, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
30 The three and twentieth was for Machasioth, his sons, and his brethren, being twelve;
la vigesimotercera a Mahaziot, con sus hijos y sus hermanos fueron 12;
31 The four and twentieth was for Romamthi-'eser, his sons and his brethren, being twelve.
