1 Chronicles 2
1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
To so Izraelovi sinovi: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Juda, Isahár, Zábulon,
2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
Dan, Jožef, Benjamin, Neftáli, Gad in Aser.
3 The sons of Judah: 'Er, and Onan, and Shelah, the three [who] were born unto him of the daughter of Shua' the Canaanitess. And 'Er, the first-born of Judah, was evil in the eyes of the Lord: and he slew him.
Judovi sinovi: Er, Onán in Šelá; ki so mu bili trije rojeni od kánaanske hčere Šue. Judov prvorojenec Er pa je bil zloben v Gospodovih očeh; in ga je usmrtil.
4 And Thamar his daughter-in-law bore unto him Perez and Zerach. All the sons of Judah were five.

5 The sons of Perez: Chezron and Chamul.
Parecova sinova: Hecrón in Hamúl.
6 And the sons of Zerach: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara'; all of them five.
Zerahovi sinovi: Zimrí, Etán, Hemán, Kalkól in Dardá. Vseh skupaj pet.
7 And the sons of Carmi: 'Achar the troubler of Israel, who trespassed against the devoted things.

8 And the sons of Ethan: 'Azaryah.

9 And the sons of Chezron, that were born unto him: Jerachmeel, and Ram, and Kelubai.

10 And Ram begat 'Amminadab, and 'Amminadab begat Nachshon, the prince of the children of Judah;

11 And Nachshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Bo'az,

12 And Bo'az begat 'Obed, and 'Obed begat Jesse,

13 And Ishai begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shim'a the third,

14 Nathanel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,

16 And their sisters were Zeruyah, and Abigayil. And the sons of Zeruyah: Abshai, and Joab, and 'Assahel, three.

17 And Abigayil bore 'Amassa: and the father of 'Amassa was Jether the Ishme'elite.
Abigájila je rodila Amasá; in Amasájev oče je bil Izmaelec Jeter.
18 And Caleb the son of Chezron begat [children] of 'Azubah his wife, and of Jeri'oth; and these are her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
Hecrónov sin Kaléb je zaplodil otroke od Azúbe, svoje žene in od Jerióte. Njeni sinovi so tile: Ješer, Šobáb in Ardón.
19 And 'Azubah died, when Caleb took unto himself Ephrath, who bore unto him Chur.
Ko je bila Azúba mrtva, je Kaléb k sebi vzel Efráto, ki mu je rodila Hura.
20 And Chur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezalel.
Hur je zaplodil Uríja in Uríja je zaplodil Becaléla.
21 And afterward came Chezron to the daughter of Machir the father of Gil'ad, and he took her [for wife] when he was sixty years old: and she bore unto him Segub.
Potem je Hecrón šel v hčer Mahírja, očeta Gileáda, ki jo je poročil, ko je bil star šestdeset let in rodila mu je Segúba.
22 And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gil'ad.

23 But Geshur and Aram took the small towns of Jair from them, with Kenath, and the villages thereof, even sixty cities. All these [belonged to] the sons of Machir the father of Gil'ad.

24 And after Chezron was dead in Calebephratah, then bore Chezron's wife Abiyah unto him Ashchur the father of Thekoa'.
Potem ko je bil Hecrón v Kaléb-efrati mrtev, mu je Hecrónova žena Abíja rodila Ašhúra, očeta Tekóe.
25 And the sons of Jerachmeel the first-born of Chezron were, Ram the first-born, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Achiyah.
Sinovi Hecrónovega prvorojenca Jerahmeéla so bili: prvorojenec Ram, Buná, Oren, Ocem in Ahíja.
26 Yerachmeel had also another wife, whose name was 'Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
Jerahmeél je imel še drugo ženo, ki ji je bilo ime Atára; bila je Onámova mati.
27 And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerachmeel were, Ma'az, and Jamin, and 'Eker.
Sinovi Jerahmeélovega prvorojenca Rama so bili: Máac, Jamín in Eker.
28 And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada'. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab, and Abishur.
Onámova sinova sta bila: Šamáj in Jadá. In Šamájeva sinova: Nadáb in Abišúr.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abichayil, and she bore unto him Achban, and Molid.
Ime Abišúrjeve žene je bilo Abihájila in rodila mu je Ahbána in Molída.
30 And the sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appayim; and Seled died without children.
Nadábova sinova: Seled in Apájim, toda Seled je umrl brez otrok.
31 And the sons of Appayim: Yish'i. And the sons of Yish'i: Sheshan. And the sons of Sheshan: Achlai.
Apájimovi sinovi: Jiší. Jišíjev sin: Šešán. Šešánovi otroci: Ahláj.
32 And the sons of Jada' the brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan; and Jether died without children.
Sinova Šamájevega brata Jadája: Jeter in Jonatan: in Jeter je umrl brez otrok.
33 And the sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerachmeel.
Jonatanova sinova: Pelet in Zazá. To so bili Jerahmeélovi sinovi.
34 Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarcha'.
Torej Šešán ni imel sinov, temveč hčere. Šešán je imel služabnika, Egipčana, katerega ime je bilo Jarhá.
35 And Sheshan gave his daughter unto Jarcha' his servant for wife: and she bore unto him 'Attai.
Šešán je dal svojo hčer svojemu služabniku Jarháju za ženo in rodila mu je Atája.
36 And 'Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad.
Atáj je zaplodil Natána in Natán je zaplodil Zabáda
37 And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat 'Obed.
in Zabád je zaplodil Eflála in Eflál je zaplodil Obéda
38 And 'Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat 'Azaryah,
in Obéd je zaplodil Jehúja in Jehú je zaplodil Azarjája
39 And 'Azaryah begat Chelez, and Chelez begat El'assah,
in Azarjá je zaplodil Heleca in Helec je zaplodil Elasája
40 And El'assah begat Sissmai, and Sissmai begat Shallum.
in Elasáj je zaplodil Sismája in Sismáj je zaplodil Šalúma
41 And Shallum begat Jekamyah, and Jekamyah begat Elishama'.

42 Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerachmeel were, Mesha', his first-born, who was the father of Ziph, and of the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

43 And the sons of Hebron: Korach, and Thappuach, and Rekem, and Shema'.

44 And Shema' begat Racham, the father of Jorke'am; and Rekem begat Shammai.

45 And the son of Shammai was Ma'on; and Ma'on was the father of Beth-zur.
Šamájev sin je bil Maón, in Maón je bil Bet Curov oče.
46 And 'Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bore Charan, and Moza, and Gazez; and Charan begat Gazez.
Kalébova priležnica Efá je rodila Harána, Mocája in Gazéza; in Harán je zaplodil Gazéza.
47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Gesham, and Pelet, and 'Ephah, and Sha'aph.
Jahdájevi sinovi so: Regem, Jotám, Gešán, Pelet, Efá in Šáaf.
48 Ma'achah, Caleb's concubine, bore Sheber, and Tirchanah.
Kalébova priležnica Maáha je rodila Šeberja in Tirhanája.
49 She bore also! Sha'aph the father of Madmannah. Sheva the father of Machbena, and the father of Gib'a: ! and the daughter of Caleb was 'Achsah.
Rodila je tudi Šáafa, očeta Madmanája, Ševája, očeta Mahbenája in očeta Gíbee: in Kalébova hči je bila Ahsa.
50 These were the sons of Caleb: Benchur, the first-born of Ephratah, Shobal the father of Kiryath-ye'arim,
To so bili sinovi Hurovega sina Kaléba, Efrátinega prvorojenca: Šobál, oče Kirját Jearíma,
51 Salma the father of Beth-lechem, Chareph the father of Beth-gader.
Salmón, oče Betlehema, Haríf, oče Bet Gadêrja.
52 And Shobal the father of Kir'yath-ye'arim had sons: Haroeh, and Chazi-hammenuchoth.
Šobál, oče Kirját Jearíma, je imel sinove: Haroe in polovica Manáhatovcev.
53 And the families of Kir'yath-ye'arim are the Yithrites, and the Puthites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishra'ites: from these came the Zor'athites, and the Eshthaulites.
Družine Kirját Jearíma: Jéterjevci, Putéjci, Šuméjci in Mišraíti; iz katerih so izšli Corčani in Eštaólci.
54 The sons of Salma: Beth-lechem, and the Netophathites, 'Ataroth of the house of Joab, and Chazi-hammanachthi, the Zor'ite.
Salmónovi sinovi: Betlehem, Netófčani, Atrót, Joábova hiša in polovica Manáhatovcev in Zorovci.
55 And the families of the scribes who dwelt at Jabez: the Thirathites, the Shim'athites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came from Chammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
Družine pisarjev, ki so prebivale pri Jabécu: Tiratéjci, Šimatéjci in Suhéjci. Ti so Kenéjci, ki so prišli iz Hamáta, očeta Rehábove hiše.
