1 Chronicles 18
1 And it came to pass after this, that David smote the Philistines, and humbled them; and he took Gath and its dependent towns out of the hand of the Philistines.
Esi ɣeyiɣiawo va le yiyim la, David ɖu Filistitɔwo dzi eye wòbɔbɔ wo ɖe anyi, exɔ Gat kple kɔƒe siwo ƒo xlãe le Filistitɔwo si.
2 And he smote Moab, and the Moabites became David's servants, bringing presents.
David ɖu Moabtɔwo hã dzi, wozu etenɔlawo eye woxea adzɔga nɛ.
3 David also smote Hadar'ezer the king of Zobah, at Chamath, as he went to establish his dominion at the river Euphrates.
Eɖu Zoba fia, Hadadezer ƒe duwo dzi yi Hamat ke le esime wòyi be yeaɖo yeƒe fiaɖuƒe anyi le Frat tɔsisi la to.
4 And David captured from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand men on foot; and David hamstringed all the chariot-teams, but reserved of them a hundred chariot-teams.
David lé sɔdola akpe adre kple afɔzɔla akpe blaeve, etu ata na sɔawo katã negbe wo dometɔ alafa ɖeka ko.
5 And the Syrians of Damascus came to aid Hadar'ezer the king of Zobah, when David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.
Esi Aramtɔwo tso Damasko va be yewoakpe ɖe Zoba fia Hadadezer ŋu la, David wu wo dometɔ akpe blaeve-vɔ-eve
6 Then did David put [garrisons] in Syria of Damascus, and the Syrians became unto David servants, bringing presents. And the Lord helped David withersoever he went.
eye wòda asrafo aɖewo ɖe Aram le Damasko, si nye Aramtɔwo ƒe fiadu la me. Ale Aramtɔwo zu David tenɔlawo eye wodzɔa adzɔga nɛ ƒe sia ƒe. Ale Yehowa na David ɖua dzi le afi sia afi si wòyi.
7 And David took the quivers of gold that were on the servants of Hadar'ezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.
David tsɔ Fia Hadadezer ƒe aʋakɔwo ƒe amegãwo ƒe sikakpoxɔnuwo va Yerusalem,
8 And from Tibchath, and from Kun, cities of Hadar'ezer, did David take exceedingly much copper; thereof made Solomon the copper sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of copper.
kpe ɖe akɔbli geɖe tso Hadadezer ƒe du siwo nye Teba kple Kun la me la ŋu. Emegbe la, Fia Solomo lolo akɔbli la eye wòtsɔe wɔ gbedoxɔ la ƒe akɔbligazɔ kple akɔblisɔtiwo kple akɔblinu siwo ŋu dɔ wowɔna ne wole vɔ sam le vɔsamlekpui la dzi.
9 And when To'u the king of Chamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadar'ezer the king of Zobah:
Esime Hamat fia Tou se be Fia David si Zoba fia Hadadezer ƒe aʋakɔ blibo la,
10 Then did he send Hadoram his son unto king David, to ask him after his well-being, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadar'ezer, and smitten him: for Hadar'ezer had been engaged in wars with To'u; and [he had with him] all manner of vessels of gold and silver and copper.

11 Also these did king David sanctify unto the Lord, with the silver and the gold that he had carried away from all the nations, from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of 'Ammon, and from the Philistines, and from 'Amalek.
Fia David kɔ nunana siawo kple klosalo kple sika si wòkpɔ tso Edomtɔwo, Moabtɔwo, Amonitɔwo, Amalekitɔwo kple Filistitɔwo gbɔ la ŋu na Yehowa.
12 And Abshai the son of Zeruyah smote of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand [men].
Abisai, Zeruya ƒe vi, wu Edomtɔ akpe wuienyi le Dze Balime.
13 And he put garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became servants unto David. And the Lord helped David withersoever he went.
Eda asrafo aɖewo ɖe Edom eye Edomtɔwo zu David teviwo. Yehowa na wòɖua dzi le afi sia afi si wòayi.
14 And David reigned over all Israel, and he did what is just and right unto all his people.
David ɖu Israel blibo la dzi kple dzɔdzɔenyenye eye wòwɔ nyui na ame sia ame.
15 And Joab the son of Zeruyah was over the army, and Jehoshaphat the son of Achilud, recorder.
Yoab, Zeruya ƒe vi, nɔ aʋakɔ la nu. Yehosafat, Ahilud ƒe vi, nye fia ƒe tsiami.
16 And Zadok the son of Achitub, and Abimelech the son of Ebyathar, were [the] priests; and Shavsha was scribe;
Zadok, Ahitub ƒe vi kple Ahimelek, Abiata ƒe vi nye nunɔlawo eye Sausa nye fia la ƒe nuŋlɔla.
17 And Benayahu the son of Jehoyada' was over the Kerethites and the Pelethites; and the sons of David were the first at the side of the king.
Benaya, Yehoiada ƒe vi, nɔ Keretitɔwo kple Peletitɔwo, ame siwo nye fia la ŋu dzɔlawo ƒe amegãwo la nu le esime David ƒe viŋutsuwo nye fia la ŋumewo ƒe tatɔwo.
