1 Chronicles 17
1 And it came to pass, when David dwelt in his house, that David said unto Nathan the prophet, Lo, I dwell in a house of cedar, while the ark of the covenant of the Lord is under curtains.
௧தாவீது தன்னுடைய வீட்டில் தங்கியிருக்கிறபோது, அவன் தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய நாத்தானை நோக்கி: பாரும், நான் கேதுருமர வீட்டிலே தங்கியிருக்கிறேன்; யெகோவாவுடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியோ திரைகளின்கீழ் இருக்கிறது என்றான்.
2 And Nathan said unto David, All that is in thy heart do; for God is with thee.
௨அப்பொழுது நாத்தான் தாவீதை நோக்கி: உம்முடைய இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறதையெல்லாம் செய்யும்; தேவன் உம்மோடு இருக்கிறார் என்றான்.
3 And it came to pass during that night, that the word of God came unto Nathan, saying,
௩அன்று இரவிலே, தேவனுடைய வார்த்தை நாத்தானுக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்:
4 Go and say unto David my servant, Thus hath said the Lord, Not thou shalt build for me the house to dwell in;
௪நீ போய், என்னுடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய தாவீதை நோக்கி: யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நான் வாழும்படி நீ எனக்கு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டவேண்டாம்.
5 For I have not dwelt in a house since the day that I brought up Israel even until this day; but have been [moving] from tent to tent, and from [one] tabernacle [to another].
௫நான் இஸ்ரவேலை வரச்செய்த நாள்முதல் இந்த நாள்வரை நான் ஒரு ஆலயத்திலே வாழாமல், ஒரு கூடாரத்திலிருந்து மறு கூடாரத்திற்கும், ஒரு தங்குமிடத்திலிருந்து மற்றொரு தங்குமிடத்திற்கும் போனேன்.
6 In all the places where I moved about among all Israel, did I speak a word to any one of the judges of Israel, whom I had ordained to feed my people, saying, Why have ye not built for me a house of cedar?
௬நான் எல்லா இஸ்ரவேலோடும் உலாவி வந்த எந்த இடத்திலாவது, நான் என்னுடைய மக்களை மேய்க்கக் கற்பித்த இஸ்ரவேலின் நியாயாதிபதிகளில் யாரையாவது நோக்கி: நீங்கள் எனக்குக் கேதுருமரத்தால் செய்யப்பட்ட ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டாமலிருக்கிறது என்ன என்று ஏதேனும் ஒரு வார்த்தை சொன்னது உண்டோ?
7 Now therefore, thus shalt thou say unto my servant, to David, Thus hath said the Lord of hosts, I took thee away from the sheepcote, from behind the flocks, to be a ruler over my people Israel;
௭இப்போதும், நீ என்னுடைய ஊழியக்காரனாகிய தாவீதை நோக்கி: சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீ என்னுடைய மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் அதிபதியாக இருக்கும்படி, ஆடுகளின் பின்னே நடந்த உன்னை ஆட்டுமந்தையைவிட்டு எடுத்து,
8 And I have been with thee withersoever thou didst go, and I have cut off all thy enemies from thy presence, and I have made thee a name; like the name of the great men who are on the earth;
௮நீ போன இடமெல்லாம் உன்னோடு இருந்து, உன்னுடைய எதிரிகளையெல்லாம் உனக்கு முன்பாக அழித்து, பூமியிலிருக்கிற பெரியோர்களின் பெயர்களுக்கு இணையான பெரிய பெயரை உனக்கு உண்டாக்கினேன்.
9 And I have procured a place for my people Israel, and I have planted them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and be no more troubled; and that the children of wickedness shall not waste them any more, as aforetimes,
௯நான் என்னுடைய மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு ஒரு இடத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்தி, அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய இடத்திலே குடியிருக்கவும், இனி அவர்கள் அலையாமலும், முன்போலவும், நான் என்னுடைய மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் நியாயாதிபதிகளைக் கட்டளையிட்ட நாள்முதல் நடந்ததுபோலவும், துன்மார்க்கமான மக்களால் இனி சிறுமைப்படாமலும் இருக்கவும் அவர்களை நியமித்தேன்.
10 And [as it was] since the time that I ordained judges to be over my people Israel; and I have humbled all thy enemies; and now I tell thee that the Lord will build for thee a house.
௧0உன்னுடைய எதிரிகளையெல்லாம் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினேன். இப்போதும் யெகோவா உனக்கு ஒரு வீட்டைக் கட்டுவார் என்பதை உனக்கு அறிவிக்கிறேன்.
11 And it shall come to pass, that, when thy days will be completed that thou must go [to sleep] with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, who shall be of thy sons, and I will establish his kingdom.
௧௧நீ உன்னுடைய பிதாக்களிடத்தில் போக, உன்னுடைய நாட்கள் நிறைவேறும்போது, நான் உனக்குப்பின்பு உன்னுடைய மகன்களில் ஒருவனாகிய உன்னுடைய சந்ததியை எழும்பச்செய்து, அவனுடைய ராஜ்ஜியத்தை நிலைப்படுத்துவேன்.
12 He it is that shall build for me a house, and I will establish his throne for ever.
௧௨அவன் எனக்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுவான்; அவனுடைய சிங்காசனத்தை என்றைக்கும் நிலைக்கச்செய்வேன்.
13 I too will be to him as a father, and he shall indeed be unto me as a son: and my kindness will I not cause to depart from him, as I caused it to depart from him that was before thee;
௧௩நான் அவனுக்குப் பிதாவாக இருப்பேன், அவன் எனக்கு மகனாக இருப்பான்; உனக்கு முன்னிருந்தவனைவிட்டு என்னுடைய கிருபையை நான் விலகச்செய்ததுபோல, அவனைவிட்டு விலகச்செய்யாமல்,
14 But I will place him firmly in my house and in my kingdom for evermore; and his throne shall be established for ever.
௧௪அவனை என்னுடைய ஆலயத்திலும் என்னுடைய ராஜ்ஜியத்திலும் என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைக்கச்செய்வேன்; அவனுடைய சிங்காசனம் என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைபெற்றிருக்கும் என்று சொல் என்றார்.
15 In accordance with all these words, and in accordance with all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
௧௫நாத்தான் இந்த எல்லா வார்த்தைகளின்படியும் இந்த எல்லா தரிசனத்தின்படியும் தாவீதுக்கு சொன்னான்.
16 Then went king David in and sat down before the Lord, and he said, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me as far as hitherward?
௧௬அப்பொழுது தாவீது ராஜா உள்ளே நுழைந்து, யெகோவாவுடைய சமூகத்திலிருந்து: தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, தேவரீர் என்னை இதுவரைக்கும் கொண்டுவந்ததற்கு நான் யார்? என் குடும்பம் எப்படிப்பட்டது?
17 And this was [yet] too small a thing in thy eyes, O God, and thou hast spoken concerning thy servant's house for a distant time, and hast regarded me as though I belonged to the rank of a man of high degree, O Lord God.
௧௭தேவனே, இது இன்னும் உம்முடைய பார்வைக்கு சிறியதாக இருக்கிறது என்று தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராயிருக்கிற நீர் உமது அடியானுடைய வீட்டைக்குறித்து வெகு காலத்திற்கு முன்பு சொன்ன செய்தியையும் சொல்லி, என்னை மகா மேன்மையான சந்ததியின் மனிதனாகப் பார்த்தீர்.
18 What can David add yet more [to speak] unto thee of the honor of thy servant? since thou knowest well thy servant.
௧௮உமது அடியானுக்கு உண்டாகும் மேன்மையைப்பற்றி, தாவீது அதன்பின்பு உம்மோடு சொல்வது என்ன? தேவரீர் உமது அடியானை அறிவீர்.
19 O Lord, for the sake of thy servant, and in accordance with thy own heart, hast thou done all this great thing, to make known all these great things.
௧௯யெகோவாவே, உமது அடியானுக்காக, உமது இருதயத்தின்படியும், இந்தப் பெரிய காரியங்களையெல்லாம் அறியச்செய்யும்படி, இந்தப் பெரிய காரியத்தையெல்லாம் செய்தீர்.
20 O Lord, there is none like thee, and there is no god beside thee, in accordance with all that we have heard with our ears.
௨0யெகோவாவே, நாங்கள் எங்கள் காதுகளால் கேட்ட எல்லாவற்றின்படியும் தேவரீருக்கு நிகரானவர் இல்லை; உம்மைத் தவிர வேறே தேவனும் இல்லை.
21 And who is like thy people Israel, the only nation on the earth which God went to redeem for himself as a people, to acquire for thyself a name for great and terrible deeds, by driving out nations from before thy people, which thou hadst redeemed out of Egypt?
௨௧உமது மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு நிகரான மக்களும் உண்டோ? பூலோகத்தில் இந்த ஒரே தேசத்தை தேவனாகிய நீர் உமக்கு மக்களாக மீட்கும்படி, பயங்கரமான பெரிய காரியங்களால் உமக்கு புகழ்ச்சியை உண்டாக்கி, நீர் எகிப்திற்கு நீங்கலாக்கி மீட்ட உமது மக்களுக்கு முன்பாக தேசங்களைத் துரத்தி,
22 And thou hast instituted thy people Israel unto thyself as a people for ever; and thou, Lord, art indeed become their God.
௨௨உமது மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் என்றைக்கும் உமது மக்களாக இருப்பதற்கு அவர்களை நிலைப்படுத்தி, கர்த்தராகிய நீர்தாமே அவர்களுக்கு தேவனானீர்.
23 And now, O Lord, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be verified for ever, and do as thou hast spoken.
௨௩இப்போதும் யெகோவாவே, தேவரீர் அடியானையும் அவனுடைய வீட்டையும்குறித்துச் சொன்ன வார்த்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பதாக; தேவரீர் சொன்னபடியே செய்தருளும்.
24 Yea, let it be verified, and let thy name be magnified unto everlasting, that men may say, The Lord of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God for Israel; and may the house of David thy servant be established before thee.
௨௪ஆம், அது நிலைத்திருக்கவும், இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் யெகோவா இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு தேவன் என்றும், உமது அடியானாகிய தாவீதின் வீடு உமக்கு முன்பாக உறுதியானதென்றும் சொல்லப்படுவதால், உமது நாமம் என்றைக்கும் மகிமைப்படவுங்கடவது.
25 For thou, O my God, hast revealed to the ear of thy servant, that thou wilt build for him a house; therefore hath thy servant found himself able to pray before thee.
௨௫உனக்கு வீடு கட்டுவேன் என்று என்னுடைய தேவனாகிய நீர் உமது அடியான் செவிகேட்க வெளிப்படுத்தினீர்; ஆகையால் உமக்கு முன்பாக விண்ணப்பம்செய்ய, உமது அடியானுக்கு மனதைரியம் கிடைத்தது.
26 And now, O Lord, thou art the [true] God, and thou hast spoken concerning thy servant this goodness:
௨௬இப்போதும் யெகோவாவே, நீரே தேவன்; நீர் உமது அடியானைக்குறித்து இந்த நல்ல விசேஷத்தைச் சொன்னீர்.
27 And now hast thou been pleased to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee; for thou, O Lord, hast blessed, and [it will remain] blessed for ever.
௨௭இப்போதும் உமது அடியானின் வீடு என்றைக்கும் உமக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கும்படி, அதை ஆசீர்வதித்தீர்; கர்த்தராகிய தேவரீர் அதை ஆசீர்வதித்தபடியால், அது என்றைக்கும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் என்றான்.
