1 Chronicles 12
1 And these are those that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, confederates for the war,
Estos son los que vinieron a David a Siceleg estando él aun encerrado por causa de Saul, hijo de Cis: y eran de los valientes, ayudadores de la guerra,
2 Who were armed with bows, and could use both the right and the left hand in [hurling] stones and shooting arrows with the bow, even of the brethren of Saul out of Benjamin.
Armados de arcos, y usaban de ambas manos en tirar piedras con honda, y en tirar saetas con arco, de los hermanos de Saul, de Ben-jamín.
3 The chiefs were Achi'ezer, then Joash, the sons of Hashema'ab the Gib'athite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of 'Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the 'Anthothite,
El principal era Ahiezer, y Joas, hijos de Samaa Gabaatita; y Jaziel, y Fallet, hijos de Azmot; y Baraca, y Jehú Anatotita.
4 And Yishma'yah the Gib'onite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jachaziel, and Jochanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite,
Ítem, Ismaias Gabaonita, valiente entre los treinta, y más que los treinta. Y Jeremías, Jeheziel, Joanán, Jezabad Gaderotita,
5 El'uzai, and Jerimath, and Be'alyah, and Shemaryahu, and Shephatyahu, the Chariphite,
Eluzai, y Jerimut, Baalias, Samarias y Safatias Harufita,
6 Elkanah, and Yishiyahu, and 'Azarel, and Jo'ezer, and Jashob'am, the Korchites,
Elcana, y Jesias, y Azarael, Joezer, y Jesbaam de Carehim;
7 And Jo'elah, and Zebadyah, the sons of Jerocham of Gedor.
Ítem, Joela, y Zabadías, hijos de Jeroham de Gedor.
8 And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the strong-hold in the wilderness mighty men of valor, and men of the army for the war, that could handle shield and lance, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as the roebucks upon the mountains in swiftness.
Y también de los de Gad se huyeron algunos a David en la fortaleza en el desierto, valientes de fuerzas, y hombres de guerra para pelear, puestos en orden con escudo y pavés: sus rostros como rostros de leones, y ligeros como las cabras monteses.
9 'Ezer was the chief, 'Ohadiah the second, Eliab the third,
Eser era el capitán, Abdías el segundo, Eliab el tercero,
10 Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth.
Masmana el cuatro, Jeremías el quinto,
11 'Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
Ethi el sexto, Eliel el séptimo,
12 Jochanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
Joanán el octavo, Elzebad el nono,
13 Jirmiyahu the tenth, Machbanai the eleventh.
Jeremías el décimo, Macbaani el onceno.
14 These were of the sons of Gad, the chiefs of the army, one of the least could fight with a hundred, and the greatest with a thousand.
Estos fueron los capitanes del ejército de los hijos de Gad. El menor de ellos tenía cargo de cien hombres de guerra, y el mayor de mil.
15 These are those that passed over the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all the men of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.
Estos pasaron el Jordán en el mes primero, cuando había salido sobre todas sus riberas; e hicieron huir a todos los de los valles al oriente y al poniente.
16 And there came some of the children of Benjamin and of Judah as far as the strong-hold unto David.
Asimismo algunos de los hijos de Ben-jamín y de Judá vinieron a David a la fortaleza.
17 And David went out to meet them, and commenced and said unto them. If ye be come for peace unto me, to help me, my heart shall be inclined toward you to unite with you; but if it be to betray me to my adversaries while there is no violence in my hands, then may the God of our fathers look on and decide it.
Y David salió a ellos, y hablóles diciendo: Si habéis venido a mí para paz y para ayudarme, mi corazón me será unido con vosotros: mas si para engañarme por mis enemigos, siendo mis manos sin iniquidad, véalo el Dios de nuestros padres, y argúyalo.
18 Then a spirit invested 'Amassai, the chief of the captains, [who said, ] Thine are we, David, and with thee, O son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to every one that helpeth thee; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and placed them at the head of the troop.
Entonces el espíritu se envistió en Amasai, príncipe de treinta, y dijo: Por ti, oh David, y contigo, oh hijo de Isaí. Paz, paz contigo, y paz con tus ayudadores; pues que también tu Dios te ayuda. Y David los recibió, y púsolos entre los capitanes de la cuadrilla.
19 And some of Menasseh went over to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle; but he helped them not; for upon consultation did the lords of the Philistines send him away, saying, With our heads will he go over to his master Saul.
También se pasaron a David algunos de Manasés, cuando vino con los Filisteos a la batalla contra Saul, aunque no les ayudaron: porque los sátrapas de los Filisteos, habido consejo, le enviaron, diciendo: Con nuestras cabezas se pasará a su señor Saul.
20 As he was going over to Ziklag, there went over to him of Menasseh, 'Adnach, and Jozabad, and Jedi'ael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillethai, captains of the thousands that belonged to Menasseh.
Así que viniendo él a Siceleg se pasaron a él de los de Manasés, Ednas, Jozabad, Jedihiel, Micael, Jozabad, Eliud, y Salati, príncipes de millares de los de Manasés.
21 And they were those that helped David against the band [of 'Amelekites]; for they were all mighty men of valor, and they became officers in the army.
Estos ayudaron a David contra aquella compañía: porque todos ellos eran valientes hombres, y fueron capitanes en el ejército.
22 For all the time, day by day, people used to come to David to help him, until the camp became great, like the camp of God.
Porque entonces todos los días venía ayuda a David, hasta que se hizo un grande ejército, como ejército de Dios.
23 And these are the numbers of the heads of those ready armed for the host that came to David to Hebron, to turn over the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the order of the Lord.
Y este es el número de los príncipes de los que estaban a punto de guerra, y vinieron a David en Hebrón, para traspasarle el reino de Saul, conforme a la palabra de Jehová.
24 The children of Judah that bore shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed for the host.
De los hijos de Judá que traían escudo y lanza, seis mil y ochocientos, a punto de guerra.
25 Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the host, seven thousand and one hundred.
De los hijos de Simeón valientes hombres de esfuerzo para la guerra, siete mil y ciento.
26 Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.
De los hijos de Leví, cuatro mil y seiscientos.
27 And Jehoyada' was the leader of the family of Aaron, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred.
Ítem, Joiada príncipe de Aarón, y con él tres mil y siete cientos.
28 Also Zadok, a young man, mighty of valor, and his family division twenty and two chiefs.
Y Sadoc, joven valiente de fuerzas, y de la familia de su padre, veinte y dos príncipes.
29 And of the children of Benjamin, the brethren of Saul, three thousand; for till that time the greatest part of them had kept the charge of the house of Saul.
De los hijos de Ben-jamín hermanos de Saul, tres mil: porque aun en aquel tiempo muchos de ellos tenían la guarda de la casa de Saul.
30 And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valor, men of fame in their family divisions.
Y de los hijos de Efraím, veinte mil y ochocientos valientes de esfuerzo, varones ilustres en las casas de sus padres.
31 And of the half tribe of Menasseh eighteen thousand, who had been expressed by name, to come to make David king.
De la media tribu de Manasés, diez y ocho mil, los cuales fueron tomados por lista, para venir a poner a David por rey.
32 And of the children of Issachar, those who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, —their heads were two hundred; and all their brethren were ready at their order.
Ítem, de los hijos de Isacar, doscientos príncipes entendidos en los tiempos, y sabios de lo que Israel había de hacer; cuyo dicho seguían todos sus hermanos.
33 Of Zebulun, such as went forth to the host, arrayed for battle, with all manner of weapons of war, fifty thousand; and these were ready to place themselves in battle array with an undivided heart.
Ítem, de Zabulón cincuenta mil, que salían en batalla a punto de guerra, con todas armas de guerra, aparejados a pelear sin doblez de corazón.
34 And of Naphtali one thousand captains, and with them were with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.
Ítem, de Neftalí mil príncipes, y con ellos treinta y siete mil con escudo y lanza.
35 And of the Danites arrayed for battle twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
De los de Dan, dispuestos a pelear, veinte y ocho mil y seiscientos.
36 And of Asher, such as went forth to the host to put themselves in battle array, forty thousand.
Ítem, de Aser, a punto de guerra, y aparejados a pelear, cuarenta mil.
37 And from the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, with all manner of weapons of the host for war, one hundred and twenty thousand.
Ítem, de la otra parte del Jordán, de los de Rubén, y de los de Gad, y de la media tribu de Manasés, ciento y veinte mil, con toda suerte de armas de guerra.
38 All these men of war, that placed themselves in battle array, came with an entire heart to Hebron, to make David King over all Israel; and also all the rest of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
Todos estos hombres de guerra a punto de guerra, vinieron con corazón perfecto a Hebrón, para poner a David por rey sobre todo Israel; y asimismo todos los demás de Israel tenían un corazón para poner a David por rey.
39 And they were there with David three days eating and drinking; for their brethren had prepared for them.
Y estuvieron allí con David tres días, comiendo y bebiendo; porque sus hermanos les habían aparejado.
40 And also those that were nigh unto them, as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought in bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, food made of meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep in abundance; for there was joy in Israel.
Y asimismo los que les eran vecinos, hasta Isacar, y Zabulón, y Neftalí, trajeron pan en asnos, y camellos, y mulos, y bueyes; comida, y harina, masas de higos, y pasas, vino, y aceite, bueyes, y ovejas en abundancia: porque en Israel había alegría.
