1 Chronicles 12
1 And these are those that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, confederates for the war,
ಕೀಷನ ಮಗ ಸೌಲನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ದಾವೀದನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಚ್ಚಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಾಗ, ಚಿಕ್ಲಗಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದವರು ಇವರೇ. ಅವರು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದವರೂ, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಾಯಕರೂ.
2 Who were armed with bows, and could use both the right and the left hand in [hurling] stones and shooting arrows with the bow, even of the brethren of Saul out of Benjamin.

3 The chiefs were Achi'ezer, then Joash, the sons of Hashema'ab the Gib'athite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of 'Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the 'Anthothite,

4 And Yishma'yah the Gib'onite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jachaziel, and Jochanan, and Jozabad the Gederathite,
ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನ್ಯನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯನು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದ; ಯೆರೆಮೀಯ, ಯಹಜಿಯೇಲ್, ಯೋಹಾನಾನ್, ಗೆದೇರದವನಾದ ಯೋಜಾಬಾದ್,
5 El'uzai, and Jerimath, and Be'alyah, and Shemaryahu, and Shephatyahu, the Chariphite,
ಎಲ್ಲೂಜೈ, ಯೆರೀಮೋತ್, ಬೆಯಲ್ಯ, ಶೆಮರ್ಯ, ಹರುಫ್ಯನಾದ ಶೆಫಟ್ಯ,
6 Elkanah, and Yishiyahu, and 'Azarel, and Jo'ezer, and Jashob'am, the Korchites,
ಕೋರಹಿಯರಾದ ಎಲ್ಕಾನ, ಇಷ್ಷೀಯ, ಅಜರಯೇಲ್, ಯೋವೆಜೆರ್, ಯಾಷೊಬ್ಬಾಮ,
7 And Jo'elah, and Zebadyah, the sons of Jerocham of Gedor.
ಗೆದೋರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯೆರೋಹಾಮನ ಪುತ್ರರಾದ ಯೋಯೇಲಹ, ಜೆಬದ್ಯ.
8 And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the strong-hold in the wilderness mighty men of valor, and men of the army for the war, that could handle shield and lance, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as the roebucks upon the mountains in swiftness.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಗಾದ್ಯರು ಇದ್ದರು. ಇವರು ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಭಲ್ಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಸೈನಿಕರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಮುಖಗಳು ಸಿಂಹಗಳಂತೆ ಭೀಕರವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇವರು ಜಿಂಕೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ವೇಗವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
9 'Ezer was the chief, 'Ohadiah the second, Eliab the third,
ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಜೆರ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನು; ಎರಡನೆಯವನು ಓಬದ್ಯ; ಮೂರನೆಯವನು ಎಲೀಯಾಬ್;
10 Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth.
ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು ಮಿಷ್ಮನ್ನ, ಐದನೆಯವನು ಯೆರೆಮೀಯ;
11 'Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
ಆರನೆಯವನು ಅತ್ತೈ; ಏಳನೆಯವನು ಎಲೀಯೇಲ್;
12 Jochanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
ಎಂಟನೆಯವನು ಯೋಹಾನಾನ್, ಒಂಬತ್ತನೆಯವನು ಎಲ್ಜಾಬಾದ್;
13 Jirmiyahu the tenth, Machbanai the eleventh.
ಹತ್ತನೆಯವನು ಯೆರೆಮೀಯ; ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯವನು ಮಕ್ಬನ್ನೈ.
14 These were of the sons of Gad, the chiefs of the army, one of the least could fight with a hundred, and the greatest with a thousand.
ಗಾದನ ಪುತ್ರರಾದ ಇವರು ಸೈನ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕಿರಿಯನು ನೂರು ಮಂದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಹಿರಿಯನು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
15 These are those that passed over the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all the men of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.
ಇವರು ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ಹೊಳೆ ದಡಮೀರಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅದನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಗ್ಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
16 And there came some of the children of Benjamin and of Judah as far as the strong-hold unto David.
ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಕೋಟೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.
17 And David went out to meet them, and commenced and said unto them. If ye be come for peace unto me, to help me, my heart shall be inclined toward you to unite with you; but if it be to betray me to my adversaries while there is no violence in my hands, then may the God of our fathers look on and decide it.
ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಬಂದರೆ, ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಂದಾಗಿರುವುದು. ಆದರೆ ದೋಷವು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಲು ಬಂದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರು ನೋಡಿ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಲಿ,” ಎಂದನು.
18 Then a spirit invested 'Amassai, the chief of the captains, [who said, ] Thine are we, David, and with thee, O son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to every one that helpeth thee; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and placed them at the head of the troop.
ಆಗ ಆತ್ಮವು ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಅಮಾಸೈಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂತು. ಅವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು, “ದಾವೀದನೇ, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನವರು. ಇಷಯನ ಮಗನೇ, ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಜಯವು ನಿನ್ನದೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಜಯವು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.” ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿ, ಅವರನ್ನು ದಂಡಿನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
19 And some of Menasseh went over to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle; but he helped them not; for upon consultation did the lords of the Philistines send him away, saying, With our heads will he go over to his master Saul.
ದಾವೀದನು ಸೌಲನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ದಾವೀದನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಕೊಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, “ಅವನು ನಮಗೆ ಮೋಸಮಾಡಿ, ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದ ಸೌಲನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಗಳು ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುವುವು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.
20 As he was going over to Ziklag, there went over to him of Menasseh, 'Adnach, and Jozabad, and Jedi'ael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillethai, captains of the thousands that belonged to Menasseh.
ದಾವೀದನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಚಿಕ್ಲಗಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಸಹಸ್ರಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಾದ ಅದ್ನ, ಯೋಜಾಬಾದ್, ಎದೀಗಯೇಲ್, ಮೀಕಾಯೇಲ್, ಯೋಜಾಬಾದ್, ಎಲೀಹು, ಚಿಲ್ಲೆತೈ ಎಂಬವರು ಬಂದು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು.
21 And they were those that helped David against the band [of 'Amelekites]; for they were all mighty men of valor, and they became officers in the army.
ಇವರು ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದರು; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ದಂಡಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
22 For all the time, day by day, people used to come to David to help him, until the camp became great, like the camp of God.
ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನೇ ದಿನೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ದೇವರ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಗುವವರೆಗೆ, ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
23 And these are the numbers of the heads of those ready armed for the host that came to David to Hebron, to turn over the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the order of the Lord.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸೌಲನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ, ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದಾವೀದನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ದಂಡುಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಇದು:
24 The children of Judah that bore shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed for the host.
ಖೇಡ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಭಲ್ಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾದ ಯೆಹೂದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು 6,800 ಮಂದಿ.
25 Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valor for the host, seven thousand and one hundred.
ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳಾದ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ 7,100 ಮಂದಿ.
26 Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.
ಲೇವಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ 4,600 ಮಂದಿ.
27 And Jehoyada' was the leader of the family of Aaron, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred.
ಆರೋನಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾವನು ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ 3,700 ಮಂದಿ.
28 Also Zadok, a young man, mighty of valor, and his family division twenty and two chiefs.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರಾಯಸ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಚಾದೋಕನೂ, ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ 22 ಮಂದಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ.
29 And of the children of Benjamin, the brethren of Saul, three thousand; for till that time the greatest part of them had kept the charge of the house of Saul.
ಸೌಲನ ಸಹೋದರರಾಗಿರುವ ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ 3,000 ಮಂದಿ. ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರು ಸೌಲನ ಮನೆಯ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
30 And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valor, men of fame in their family divisions.
ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ 20,800 ಮಂದಿ, ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳೂ, ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು.
31 And of the half tribe of Menasseh eighteen thousand, who had been expressed by name, to come to make David king.
ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ 18,000 ಮಂದಿ. ಅವರು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದವರ ಹೆಸರು ಹೆಸರಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಲು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದವರು.
32 And of the children of Issachar, those who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, —their heads were two hundred; and all their brethren were ready at their order.
ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು ಯಾವುದೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯತಕ್ಕಂಥ ಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ತಿಳಿದವರು ಬಂದರು. ಅವರ ಯಜಮಾನರು 200 ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರೆಲ್ಲರು ಇವರ ಆಜ್ಞಾಧೀನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
33 Of Zebulun, such as went forth to the host, arrayed for battle, with all manner of weapons of war, fifty thousand; and these were ready to place themselves in battle array with an undivided heart.
ಜೆಬುಲೂನನವರಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಸಾಲಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸಕಲ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಯುದ್ಧ ನಿಪುಣರಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಡುವವರು 50,000 ಮಂದಿ.
34 And of Naphtali one thousand captains, and with them were with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.
ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ 1,000 ಜನ ನಾಯಕರೂ ಗುರಾಣಿಬರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವ 37,000 ಸೈನಿಕರೂ
35 And of the Danites arrayed for battle twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
ದಾನನವರಲ್ಲಿ 28,600 ಮಂದಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ನಿಪುಣರು.
36 And of Asher, such as went forth to the host to put themselves in battle array, forty thousand.
ಆಶೇರನವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗತಕ್ಕ ಹಾಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ನಿಪುಣರು ಸೈನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವವರು 40,000 ಮಂದಿ.
37 And from the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, with all manner of weapons of the host for war, one hundred and twenty thousand.
ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿ ಆಚೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಗಾದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಅರ್ಧ ಗೋತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂಥ ಸಕಲ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು 1,20,000 ಮಂದಿ.
38 All these men of war, that placed themselves in battle array, came with an entire heart to Hebron, to make David King over all Israel; and also all the rest of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾದ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನಿಕರು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೆಬ್ರೋನಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದರು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಒಂದೇ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
39 And they were there with David three days eating and drinking; for their brethren had prepared for them.
ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಾ, ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದರು.
40 And also those that were nigh unto them, as far as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought in bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, food made of meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep in abundance; for there was joy in Israel.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರ ನೆರೆಯವನಾದ ಇಸ್ಸಾಕಾರ್, ಜೆಬುಲೂನ್, ನಫ್ತಾಲಿಯರು ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಎತ್ತು, ಕತ್ತೆ, ಹೇಸರಗತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂಟೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನೂ ಅಂಜೂರದ ಉಂಡೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಣಗಿದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಗೊಂಚಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನೂ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ದನಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ತಂದರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷವಿತ್ತು.
