Ενώχ, Μαθουσάλα, Λάμεχ,
4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Νώε, Σημ, Χαμ και Ιάφεθ.
5 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Thubal, and Meshech, and Thirass.
υιοί του Ιάφεθ, Γομέρ και Μαγώγ και Μαδαΐ και Ιαυάν και Θουβάλ και Μεσέχ και Θειράς·
6 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenas, and Diphath, and Thogarmah.
και υιοί του Γομέρ, Ασχενάζ και Ριφάθ και Θωγαρμά·
7 And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tharshishah, Kittim, and Rodanim.
και υιοί του Ιαυάν, Ελεισά και Θαρσείς, Κιττείμ και Δωδανείμ.
8 The sons of Ham: Cush, and Misrayim, Put, and Canaan.
Υιοί του Χαμ, Χούς και Μισραΐμ, Φούθ και Χαναάν·
9 And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Chavilah, and Sabta, and Ra'mah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Ra'mah: Sheba, and Dedan.
και υιοί του Χούς, Σεβά και Αβιλά και Σαβθά και Ρααμά και Σαβθεκά· και υιοί του Ρααμά, Σεβά και Δαιδάν.
10 And Cush begat Nimrod: this one began to be a mighty man upon the earth.
Και ο Χούς εγέννησε τον Νεβρώδ· ούτος ήρχισε να ήναι ισχυρός επί της γης.
11 And Mizrayim begat the Ludim, and there the 'Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuchim,
Και ο Μισραΐμ εγέννησε τους Λουδείμ και τους Αναμείμ και τους Λεαβείμ και τους Ναφθουχείμ,
12 And the Pathrussim, and the Cassluchim, of whom came the Philistines, and the Caphthorim.
και τους Πατρουσείμ και τους Χασλουχείμ, εκ των οποίων εξήλθον οι Φιλισταίοι, και τους Καφθορείμ.
13 And Canaan begat Zidon, his first-born, and Heth.
Και ο Χαναάν εγέννησε τον Σιδώνα πρωτότοκον αυτού, και τον Χετταίον,
14 And the Jebusite, and the Emorite, and the Girgashite,
και τον Ιεβουσαίον και τον Αμορραίον και τον Γεργεσαίον,
15 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
και τον Ευαίον και τον Αρουκαίον και τον Ασενναίον,
16 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Chamathite.
και τον Αρβάδιον και τον Σαμαραίον και τον Αμαθαίον.
17 The sons of Shem: 'Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and 'Uz, and Chul, and Gether, and Meshech.
υιοί του Σημ, Ελάμ και Ασσούρ και Αρφαξάδ και Λούδ και Αράμ· και υιοί Αράμ, Ουζ και Ουλ και Γεθέρ και Μεσέχ.
18 And Arpachshad begat Shelach, and Shelach begat 'Eber.
Και ο Αρφαξάδ εγέννησε τον Σαλά, και ο Σαλά εγέννησε τον Έβερ.
19 And unto 'Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
Και εις τον Έβερ εγεννήθησαν δύο υιοί· το όνομα του ενός, Φαλέγ· διότι εν ταις ημέραις αυτού διεμερίσθη η γή· το δε όνομα του αδελφού αυτού, Ιοκτάν.
20 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Chazarmaveth, and Jerach,
Και ο Ιοκτάν εγέννησε τον Αλμωδάδ και τον Σαλέφ και τον Ασάρ-μαβέθ και τον Ιαράχ,
21 And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
και τον Αδωράμ και τον Ουζάλ και τον Δικλά,
22 And 'Ebal and Abimael, and Sheba,
και τον Εβάλ και τον Αβιμαήλ και τον Σεβά
23 And Ophir, and Chavilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
και τον Οφείρ, και τον Αβιλά, και τον Ιωβάβ· πάντες ούτοι ήσαν οι υιοί του Ιοκτάν.
24 Shem, Arpachshad, Shelach,
Σημ, Αρφαξάδ, Σαλά,
25 'Eber, Peleg, Re'u,
Έβερ, Φαλέγ, Ραγαύ,
26 Serug, Nachor, Terach,
Σερούχ, Ναχώρ, Θάρα,
27 Abram, the same is Abraham.
Άβραμ, όστις είναι ο Αβραάμ.
28 The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishma'el.
Υιοί δε του Αβραάμ, Ισαάκ και Ισμαήλ.
29 These are their generations: The first-born of Ishma'el, Nebayoth, then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
Αύται είναι αι γενεαί αυτών· Ο πρωτότοκος του Ισμαήλ, Ναβαϊώθ· έπειτα Κηδάρ και Αδβεήλ και Μιβσάμ,
30 Mishma', and Dumah, Massa, Chadad, and Thema,
Μισμά και Δουμά, Μασσά, Αδάδ και Θαιμά,
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishma'el.
Ιετούρ, Ναφίς και Κεδμά· ούτοι ήσαν οι υιοί του Ισμαήλ.
32 And the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Yishbak, and Shuach. And the sons Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
Οι δε υιοί της Χεττούρας, θεραπαίνης του Αβραάμ, ούτοι· αύτη εγέννησε τον Ζεμβράν και Ιοξάν και Μαδάν και Μαδιάμ και Ιεσβώκ και Σουά· και υιοί του Ιοξάν, Σεβά και Δαιδάν·
33 And the sons of Midian: 'Ephah, and 'Epher, and Chanoch, and Abida', and Elda'ah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
και υιοί του Μαδιάμ, Γεφά και Εφέρ και Ανώχ και Αβειδά και Ελδαγά· πάντες ούτοι ήσαν υιοί της Χεττούρας.
34 And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
Και εγέννησεν ο Αβραάμ τον Ισαάκ· υιοί δε του Ισαάκ, ο Ησαύ και ο Ισραήλ.
35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Re'uel, and Ye'ush, and Ya'lam, and Korach.
Υιοί του Ησαύ, Ελιφάς, Ραγουήλ και Ιεούς και Ιεγλόμ και Κορέ·
36 The sons of Eliphaz: Theman, and Omar, Zephi, and Ga'tam, Kenas, and Thimna', and 'Amalek.
υιοί του Ελιφάς, Θαιμάν και Ωμάρ, Σωφάρ και Γοθώμ, Κενέζ και Θαμνά και Αμαλήκ.
37 The sons of Re'uel: Nachath, Zerach, Shammah, and Mizzah.
Υιοί του Ραγουήλ, Ναχάθ, Ζερά, Σομέ και Μοζέ.
38 And the sons of Se'ir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zib'on, and 'Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
Και υιοί του Σηείρ, Λωτάν και Σωβάλ και Σεβεγών και Ανά και Δησών και Εσέρ και Δισάν.
39 And the sons of Lotan: Chori, and Homam: and the sister of Lotan: Thimna'.
Και υιοί του Λωτάν, Χορρί και Αιμάμ· αδελφή δε του Λωτάν, Θαμνά·
40 The sons of Shobal: 'Alyan, and Manachath, and 'Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zib'on: 'Ayah, and 'Anah.
Υιοί του Σωβάλ, Αιλάν και Μαναχάθ και Εβάλ, Σεφώ και Ωνάμ· και υιοί του Σεβεγών, Αϊέ και Ανά·
41 The sons of 'Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Chamran, and Eshban, and Yithran, and Cheran.
υιοί του Ανά, Δησών· και υιοί του Δησών, Αμράν και Ασβάν και Ιθράν και Χαρράν.
42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Za'avan, and Ja'akan. The sons of Dishan: 'Uz, and Aran.
Υιοί του Εσέρ, Βαλαάν και Ζααβάν και Ιακάν· υιοί του Δισάν, Ουζ και Αράν.
43 And these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before there reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela' the son of Be'or; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
Ούτοι δε ήσαν οι βασιλείς, οι βασιλεύσαντες εν τη γη Εδώμ, πριν βασιλεύση βασιλεύς επί τους υιούς Ισραήλ· Βελά, ο υιός του Βεώρ· και το όνομα της πόλεως αυτού Δεγναβά.
44 And Bela' died, and there reigned in his stead Jobab the son of Zerach of Bozrah.
Και απέθανεν ο Βελά, και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού Ιωβάβ, ο υιός του Ζερά, εκ της Βοσόρρας.
45 And Jobab died, and there reigned in his stead Chusham of the land of Theman.
Και απέθανεν ο Ιωβάβ, και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού ο Χουσάμ, εκ της γης των Θαιμανιτών.
46 And Chusham died and there reigned in his stead Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab; and the name of his city was 'Avith.
Και απέθανεν ο Χουσάμ, και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού Αδάδ, ο υιός του Βεδάδ, όστις επάταξε τους Μαδιανίτας εν τη πεδιάδι του Μωάβ· το δε όνομα της πόλεως αυτού Αβίθ.
47 And Hadad died, and there reigned in his stead Samlah of Massrekah.
Και απέθανεν ο Αδάδ, και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού Σαμλά, ο εκ Μασρεκάς.
48 And Samlah died, and there reigned in his stead Saul of Rechoboth by the river.
Και απέθανεν ο Σαμλά, και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού Σαούλ, ο από Ρεχωβώθ, της παρά τον ποταμόν.
49 And Saul died, and there reigned in his stead Ba'al-chanan the son of 'Achbor.
Και απέθανεν ο Σαούλ, και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού Βάαλ-χανάν, ο υιός του Αχβώρ.
50 And Ba'al-chanan died, and there reigned in his stead Hadad; and the name of his city was Pa'i; and the name of his wife was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
Και απέθανεν ο Βάαλ-χανάν, και εβασίλευσεν αντ' αυτού ο Αδάδ· και το όνομα της πόλεως αυτού ήτο Παί· το δε όνομα της γυναικός αυτού Μεεταβεήλ, θυγάτηρ Ματραίδ, θυγατρός Μαιζαάβ.
51 Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were: Thimna', duke 'Alvah, duke Jetheth,
Αποθανόντος δε του Αδάδ, εστάθησαν ηγεμόνες Εδώμ, ηγεμών Θαμνά, ηγεμών Αλβά, ηγεμών Ιεθέθ,
52 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
ηγεμών Ολιβαμά, ηγεμών Ηλά, ηγεμών Φινών,
53 Duke Kenas, duke Theman, duke Mibzar,
ηγεμών Κενέζ, ηγεμών Θαιμάν, ηγεμών Μιβσάρ,
54 Duke Magdiel, duke 'Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
ηγεμών Μαγεδήλ, ηγεμών Ιράμ· ούτοι εστάθησαν οι ηγεμόνες Εδώμ.
