Zacharias 3

1 And the Lord showed me Jesus the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and the Devil stood on his right hand to resist him.

۱ و یهوشع رئیس کهنه را به من نشان داد که به حضور فرشته خداوند ایستاده بود و شیطان به‌دست راست وی ایستاده، تا با اومخاصمه نماید.

2 And the Lords said to the Devil, The Lord rebuke you, O Devil, even the Lord that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you: behold! is not this as a brand plucked from the fire?

۲ و خداوند به شیطان گفت: «ای شیطان خداوند تو را نهیب نماید! خداوند که اورشلیم را برگزیده است تو را نهیب نماید. آیااین نیم سوزی نیست که از میان آتش ربوده شده است؟»

3 Now Jesus was clothed in filthy raiment, and stood before the angel.

۳ و یهوشع به لباس پلید ملبس بود و به حضور فرشته ایستاده بود.

4 And [the Lord] answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy raiment from him: and he said to him, Behold, I have taken away your iniquities: and clothe you him with a long robe,

۴ و آنانی را که به حضور وی ایستاده بودند خطاب کرده، گفت: «لباس پلید را از برش بیرون کنید.» و او را گفت: «ببین عصیانت را از تو بیرون کردم و لباس فاخر به تو پوشانیدم.»

5 and place a pure mitre upon his head. So they placed a pure mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments: and the angel of the Lord stood [by].

۵ و من گفتم که عمامه طاهر برسرش بگذارند. پس عمامه طاهر بر سرش گذاردند و او را به لباس پوشانیدند و فرشته خداوند ایستاده بود.

6 And the angel of the Lord testified to Jesus, saying,

۶ و فرشته خداوند یهوشع را اعلام نموده، گفت:

7 Thus says the Lord Almighty; If you will walk in my ways, and take heed to my charges, then shall you judge my house: and if you will diligently keep my court, then will I give you men to walk in the midst of these that stand [here].

۷ «یهوه صبایوت چنین می‌فرماید: اگر به طریق های من سلوک نمایی و ودیعت مرا نگاه داری تو نیز خانه مرا داوری خواهی نمود وصحن های مرا محافظت خواهی کرد و تو را درمیان آنانی که نزد من می‌ایستند بار خواهم داد.

8 Hear now, Jesus the high priest, you, and your neighbors that are sitting before [you]: for they are diviners, for, behold, I bring forth my servant The Branch.

۸ پس‌ای یهوشع رئیس کهنه بشنو تو و رفقایت که به حضور تو می‌نشینند، زیرا که ایشان مردان علامت هستند. (بشنوید) زیرا که اینک من بنده خود شاخه را خواهم آورد.

9 For [as for] the stone which I have set before the face of Jesus, on the one stone are seven eyes: behold, I am digging a trench, says the Lord Almighty, and I will search out all the iniquity of that land in one day.

۹ و همانا آن سنگی که به حضور یهوشع می‌گذارم، بر یک سنگ هفت چشم می‌باشد. اینک یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید که من نقش آن را رقم خواهم کرد و عصیان این زمین را در یک روز رفع خواهم نمود.

10 In that day, says the Lord Almighty, you shall call together every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.

۱۰ و یهوه صبایوت می‌گوید که هر کدام از شما همسایه خود را زیر مو و زیر انجیر خویش دعوت خواهید نمود.»
