< Zacharias 12 >

1 The burden of the word of the Lord for Israel; says the Lord, that stretches out the sky, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him.
Israel koeh ai haih Angraeng ih lok loe hae tiah oh: van to kalen ah pazuengkung, long ohhaih ahmuen raemhkung, kami hinghaih paekkung, Angraeng mah hae tiah thuih.
2 Behold, I [will] make Jerusalem as trembling door-posts to all the nations round about, and in Judea there shall be a siege against Jerusalem.
Khenah, Jerusalem loe a taengah kaom kaminawk boih paquisak boengloeng ah ka sak han, nihcae mah Judah hoi Jerusalem to takui o tih.
3 And it shall come to pass in that day [that] I will make Jerusalem a trodden stone to all the nations: every one that tramples on it shall utterly mock at [it], and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.
To na niah loe long nui ih acaeng boih mah anih tuk hanah amkhueng o tih, toe Jerusalem loe kaminawk boih han kazit lungsong baktiah ka sak han; to thlung atoeng kaminawk loe koi o phaeng tih.
4 In that day, says the Lord Almighty, I will strike every horse with amazement, and his rider with madness: but I will open mine eyes upon the house of Juda, and I will strike all the horses of the nations with blindness.
To na niah loe hrangnawk to kang hmangsak sut moe, a nuiah angthueng kaminawk doeh kam thusak boih han, tiah Angraeng mah thuih. Judah ih imthung to ka khet moe, kaminawk ih hrang to mik ka maengsak boih han.
5 And the captains of thousands of Juda shall say in their hearts, We shall find for ourselves the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the Lord Almighty their God.
To naah Judah ukkung angraengnawk mah, misatuh kaminawk ih Angraeng loe aicae ih Sithaw ah oh, kai loe Jerusalem ah kaom kaminawk thacakhaih ah oh, tiah thui o tih.
6 In that day I will make the captains of thousands of Juda as a firebrand among wood, and as a torch of fire in stubble; and they shall devour on the right hand and on the left all the nations round about: and Jerusalem shall dwell again by herself, [even] in Jerusalem.
To na niah Judah ukkung angraengnawk to thing hmai kamngaeh baktih, kangqong hmaithaw baktiah ka sak han; to hmai mah a taengah kaom kaminawk hoi banqoi bantang kaom kaminawk to kangh boih tih, toe Jerusalem loe a ohhaih ahmuen ah kacakah om poe tih.
7 And the Lord shall save the tabernacles of Juda as at the beginning, that the boast of the house of David, and the pride of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, may not magnify themselves against Juda.
Angraeng mah Judah ohhaih ahmuen to pahlong hmaloe tih, David imthung hoi Jerusalem ah kaom kaminawk lensawkhaih loe Judah pongah len kue mak ai.
8 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord shall defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and the weak one among them in that day shall be as David, and the house of David as the house of God, as the angel of the Lord before them.
To na niah loe Angraeng mah Jerusalem ah kaom kaminawk to pakaa tih; thacak ai kaminawk loe to na niah David baktiah thacak o tih, nihcae hma ah Angraeng ih van kami oh baktih toengah, David imthung loe Sithaw baktiah om tih.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
To na niah Jerusalem vangpui tuk hanah angzo prae kaminawk boih to amrosak hanah ka pakrong han.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and compassion: and they shall look upon me, because they have mocked [me], and they shall make lamentation for him, as for a beloved [friend], and they shall grieve intensely, as for a firstborn [son].
David imthung hoi Jerusalem ah kaom kaminawk nuiah, tahmenhaih hoi tahmen hnikhaih palungthin ka kraih pae han: nihcae mah thunh o ih Kai to na khen o tih, maeto khue a tawnh o ih capa qah haih baktiah, anih to qah o haih tih; kami mah kadueh calu qahhaih baktiah, qah o haih tih.
11 In that day the lamentation in Jerusalem shall be very great, as the mourning for the pomegranate grove cut down in the plain.
To na niah loe Megiddo azawn Hadad Rimmon ah kaom qahhaih baktiah, Jerusalem vangpui thungah paroeai qahhaih to om tih.
12 And the land shall lament in separate families, the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;
Prae loe palungsae tih, imthung takoh boih, David imthung takoh hoi a zunawk, Nathan imthung takoh hoi a zunawk;
13 the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Symeon by itself, and their wives by themselves;
Levi imthung takoh hoi a zunawk, Shimei imthung takoh hoi a zunawk;
14 all the families that are left, each family by itself, and their wives by themselves.
kanghmat imthung takohnawk, imthong takoh boih hoi a zunawk to qah o tih.
