< Psalms 99 >
1 A Psalm of David. The Lord reigns; —let the people rage; [it is he] that sits upon the cherubs, let the earth be moved.
Jehovha anobata ushe, ndudzi ngadzidedere; anogara pachigaro choushe chiri pakati pamakerubhi, nyika ngaizungunuke.
2 The Lord is great in Sion, and is high over all the people.
Jehovha mukuru paZioni; iye akasimudzirwa pamusoro pendudzi dzose.
3 Let them give thanks to your great name; for it is terrible and holy.
Ngavarumbidze zita renyu guru rinotyisa, iye mutsvene.
4 And the king's honor loves judgment; you have prepared equity, you have wrought judgment and justice in Jacob.
Mambo mukuru, anoda kururamisira, imi makasimbisa kururama; muna Jakobho makaita kururamisira nokururama.
5 Exalt you the Lord our God, and worship [at] his footstool; for he is holy.
Kudzai Jehovha Mwari wedu nokunamata pachitsiko chetsoka dzake; iye mutsvene.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he heard them.
Mozisi naAroni vakanga vari pakati pavaprista vake, Samueri akanga ari pakati paavo vaidana kuzita rake, vakadana kuna Jehovha akavapindura.
7 He spoke to them in a pillar of cloud; they kept his testimonies, and the ordinances which he gave them.
Akataura kwavari ari mushongwe yegore; vakachengeta zvaakatema nemitemo yaakavapa.
8 O Lord our God, you heard them; O God, you became propitious to them, though you did take vengeance on all their devices.
Haiwa Jehovha Mwari wedu, imi makavapindura; makanga muri Mwari anokanganwira kuna Israeri, kunyange makavaranga pane zvavakaita.
9 Exalt you the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy.
Kudzai Jehovha Mwari wedu mumunamate pagomo rake dzvene, nokuti Jehovha Mwari wedu ndiye mutsvene.
