Psalms 94
1 A Psalm of David for the fourth [day] of the week. The Lord is a God of vengeance; the God of vengeance has declared himself.
१हे परमेश्वरा, देवा तुझ्याकडे सूड घेणे आहे, तुझ्याकडे सूड घेणे आहे; तू हे देवा आपले तेज प्रगट कर.
2 Be you exalted, you that judge the earth: render a reward to the proud.
२पृथ्वीच्या न्यायाधीशा, ऊठ, गर्विष्ठांना त्यांचे उचित प्रतिफल दे.
3 How long shall sinners, O Lord, how long shall sinners boast?
३हे परमेश्वरा, दुष्ट किती काळ, दुष्ट किती काळ विजयोत्सव करतील?
4 They will utter and speak unrighteousness; all the workers of iniquity will speak [so].
४ते बडबड करतात आणि उर्मटपणे बोलतात आणि फुशारकी मारतात.
5 They have afflicted your people, O Lord, and hurt your heritage.
५हे परमेश्वरा, ते तुझ्या लोकांस चिरडतात; जे तुझ्या मालकीचे राष्ट्र आहे त्यांना ते पीडितात.
6 They have slain the widow and fatherless, and murdered the stranger.
६ते विधवांना आणि उपऱ्यांचा जीव घेतात, आणि ते अनाथांचा खून करतात.
7 And they said, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob understand.
७ते म्हणतात की, परमेश्वर बघणार नाही, याकोबाचा देव लक्ष देत नाही.
8 Understand now, you simple among the people; and you fools, at length be wise.
८अहो तुम्ही मूर्ख लोकांनो, समजून घ्या; मूर्खांनो, तुम्ही कधीपर्यंत शिकणार आहात?
9 He that planted the ear, does he not hear? or he that formed the eye, does not he perceive?
९ज्याने आपला कान घडविला तो ऐकणार नाही काय? ज्याने आपला डोळा बनविला तो पाहणार नाही काय?
10 He that chastises the heathen, shall not he punish, [even] he that teaches man knowledge?
१०जो राष्ट्रांना शिस्त लावतो, तो शिक्षा करणार नाही का? जो मनुष्यांना ज्ञान शिकवतो. तो अज्ञानी असणार का?
11 The Lord knows the thoughts of men, that they are vain.
११परमेश्वर मनुष्यांचे विचार जाणतो, ते भ्रष्ट आहेत.
12 Blessed is the man whoever you shall chasten, O Lord, and shall teach him out of your law;
१२हे परमेश्वरा ज्या मनुष्यास तू शिस्त लावतोस, ज्याला आपल्या नियमशास्रातून शिकवितोस तो आशीर्वादित आहे.
13 to give him rest from evil days, until a pit be digged for the sinful one.
१३दुष्टासाठी खाच खणली जाईपर्यंत, तू त्यास संकटसमयी विसावा देशील.
14 For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance;
१४कारण परमेश्वर आपल्या लोकांस किंवा आपल्या वतनाला सोडून देणार नाही.
15 until righteousness return to judgment, and all the upright in heart shall follow it. (Pause)
१५कारण न्याय नितीमानाकडे वळेल; आणि सरळ मनाचे सर्व तो अनुसरतील.
16 Who will rise up for me against the transgressors? or who will stand up with me against the workers of iniquity?
१६माझ्यासाठी दुष्कर्म करणाऱ्याविरूद्ध कोण लढेल? अन्याय करणाऱ्याविरूद्ध माझ्यासाठी कोण उभा राहिल?
17 If the Lord had not helped me, my soul had almost sojourned in Hades.
१७जर परमेश्वराने मला मदत केली नसती, तर माझा जीव निवांतस्थानी कधीच जाऊन पडला असता.
18 If I said, My foot has been moved;
१८जेव्हा मी म्हणतो, माझा पाय घसरला आहे, तेव्हा, परमेश्वरा, तुझा विश्वासाचा करार मला उचलून धरतो.
19 your mercy, O Lord, helped me. O Lord, according to the multitude of my griefs within my heart, your consolation have soothed my soul.
१९जेव्हा माझे मन खूप चिंताग्रस्त होते तेव्हा तुझ्यापसून लाभणारे सांत्वन माझ्या जिवाला आनंदित करते.
20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by an ordinance?
२०जे दुष्टपणाचे राजासन कायद्याने अरिष्ट योजते ते तुझ्याशी संबंध ठेवाल काय?
21 They will hunt for the soul of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood.
२१ते नितीमानाच्या जिवाविरूद्ध एकवट होतात, आणि निर्दोष्यांस देहांत शिक्षा देतात;
22 But the Lord was my refuge; and my God the helper of my hope.
२२परंतु परमेश्वर माझा उंच बुरुज आहे, आणि माझा देव मला आश्रयाचा खडक आहे.
23 And he will recompense to them their iniquity and their wickedness: the Lord our God shall utterly destroy them.
२३त्याने त्यांचा अन्याय त्यांच्यावरच आणला आहे; आणि त्यांच्याच दुष्टपणात तो त्यांना नाहीसे करील. आमचा देव परमेश्वर त्यांना नाहीसे करील.
