< Psalms 83 >
1 A Song of a Psalm for Asaph. O God, who shall be compared to you? be not silent, neither be still, O God.
Abụ, bụ Abụ Ọma Asaf. O! Chineke agbachikwala nkịtị. Biko, Chineke, ahapụkwala ikwu okwu, anọkwala jụụ.
2 For behold, your enemies have made a noise; and they that hate you have lifted up the head.
Lee na ndị iro gị nọ na-ebigbọ, ndị kpọrọ gị asị na-eweli isi ha.
3 Against your people they have craftily imagined a device, and have taken counsel against your saints.
Ha ji aghụghọ na-agba izu imegide ndị gị; ha na-atụ atụmatụ ọjọọ megide ndị ị hụrụ nʼanya.
4 They have said, Come, and let us utterly destroy them out of the nation; and let the name of Israel be remembered no more at all.
Ha na-asị, “Bịanụ ka anyị laa mba a nʼiyi, ka a ghara ichetakwa aha Izrel ọzọ.”
5 For they have taken counsel together with one consent: they have made a confederacy against you;
Ha ji otu obi na-agbarịta izu; ha agbaala ndụ imegide gị,
6 even the tents of the Idumeans, and the Ismaelites; Moab, and the Agarenes;
ụlọ ikwu niile nke ndị Edọm, na ndị Ishmel, na ndị Moab, na ndị Haga,
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalec; the Philistines also, with them that dwell at Tyre.
na ndị Gebal, na ndị Amọn, na ndị Amalek, na ndị Filistia, ha na ndị Taịa.
8 Yes, Assur too is come with them: they have become a help to the children of Lot. (Pause)
Ọ bụladị ndị Asịrịa esorokwala ha, ịgba ndị agbụrụ Lọt ume. (Sela)
9 Do you to them as to Madiam, and to Sisera; as to Jabin at the brook of Kison.
Mee ha dịka i si mee ndị Midia, na dịka i mere Sisera na Jabin, nʼakụkụ iyi Kishọn,
10 They were utterly destroyed at Aendor: they became as dung for the earth.
ndị lara nʼiyi nʼEndoa ma ghọọ ihe dịka nsị anụ e kpofuru ekpofu nʼala.
11 Make their princes as Oreb and Zeb, and Zebee and Salmana; [even] all their princes:
Mee ka ndị ọgaranya ha dịka Oreb na Zeeb, ka ụmụ ndị ikom eze ha niile dịka Zeba na Zalmuna,
12 who said, let us take to ourselves the altar of God as an inheritance.
ndị sịrị, “Ka anyị nwetara onwe anyị, ebe ịta nri ụmụ anụmanụ niile nke Chineke.”
13 O my God, make them as a wheel; as stubble before the face of the wind.
O Chineke m, mee ha ka dịka ahịhịa ifufe na-efegharị gburugburu, maọbụ dịka igbugbo ọka nʼebe ifufe dị.
14 As fire which shall burn up a wood, as the flame may consume the mountains;
Dịka ọkụ na-erepịa oke ọhịa, maọbụ nke na-ere nʼelu ugwu,
15 so shall you persecute them with your tempest, and trouble them in your anger.
si otu a were oke ifufe chụọ ha ọsọ, jiri oke ifufe nke na-eso mmiri ozuzo mee ka ha nọrọ nʼọnọdụ obi ọlụlọ mmiri.
16 Fill their faces with dishonor; so shall they seek your name, O Lord.
Were ihere kpuchie ha ihu, ka ndị mmadụ si otu a chọọ aha gị, O Onyenwe anyị.
17 Let them be ashamed and troubled for evermore; yes, let them be confounded and destroyed.
Ka ha nọdụ nʼọnọdụ ihere na ịda mba mgbe niile; ka ha laa nʼiyi nʼọnọdụ mweda nʼala.
18 And let them know that your name is Lord; that you alone are Most High over all the earth.
Mee ka ha mata na gị, onye aha ya bụ Onyenwe anyị, na ọ bụ naanị gị bụ Onye kachasị ihe niile elu nʼụwa niile.
