< Psalms 83 >
1 A Song of a Psalm for Asaph. O God, who shall be compared to you? be not silent, neither be still, O God.
Yon Chan. Yon Sòm Asaph O Bondye, pa rete an silans. Pa fè silans, O Bondye. Pa rete trankil.
2 For behold, your enemies have made a noise; and they that hate you have lifted up the head.
Paske gade byen, lènmi Ou yo ap fè zen. (Sila) ki rayi Ou yo leve tèt yo byen wo.
3 Against your people they have craftily imagined a device, and have taken counsel against your saints.
Yo fè plan malen kont pèp Ou a. Yo fè konplo ansanm kont (sila) ki se trezò Ou.
4 They have said, Come, and let us utterly destroy them out of the nation; and let the name of Israel be remembered no more at all.
Yo te di: “Vini, annou disparèt yo nèt kon nasyon, pou non Israël la pa sonje ankò menm.”
5 For they have taken counsel together with one consent: they have made a confederacy against you;
Paske yo te fè konplo ansanm ak yon sèl panse. Kont Ou menm, yo fè yon akò.
6 even the tents of the Idumeans, and the Ismaelites; Moab, and the Agarenes;
Tant a Édom avèk Izmayelit yo, Moab ak Agarenyen yo,
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalec; the Philistines also, with them that dwell at Tyre.
Guebal, Ammon, Amalek, Filisten yo avèk pèp Tyr yo;
8 Yes, Assur too is come with them: they have become a help to the children of Lot. (Pause)
Anplis, Asiryen yo te vin jwenn ansanm avèk yo, yo te prete lamen a pitit a Lot yo. Tan
9 Do you to them as to Madiam, and to Sisera; as to Jabin at the brook of Kison.
Aji avèk yo tankou Madian, tankou avèk Sisera ak Jabin nan ravin Kison an!
10 They were utterly destroyed at Aendor: they became as dung for the earth.
Ki te fin detwi nan En-Dor, ki te vin tankou fimye sou latè.
11 Make their princes as Oreb and Zeb, and Zebee and Salmana; [even] all their princes:
Fè tout chèf yo tankou Oreb avèk Zeeb e tout prens yo tankou Zébach avèk Tsalmunna,
12 who said, let us take to ourselves the altar of God as an inheritance.
Ki te di: “Annou vin posede patiraj Bondye yo pou kont nou.”
13 O my God, make them as a wheel; as stubble before the face of the wind.
O Bondye mwen, fè yo tankou pousyè toubiyon! Tankou pay devan van!
14 As fire which shall burn up a wood, as the flame may consume the mountains;
Tankou dife ki brile forè a, ak flanm ki limen nan tout mòn nan pou yo brile nèt.
15 so shall you persecute them with your tempest, and trouble them in your anger.
Konsa, kouri dèyè yo avèk tanpèt Ou e teworize yo ak gwo siklòn Ou.
16 Fill their faces with dishonor; so shall they seek your name, O Lord.
Plen figi yo ak gwo wont, pou yo kab chache non pa Ou, O SENYÈ.
17 Let them be ashamed and troubled for evermore; yes, let them be confounded and destroyed.
Kite yo vin wont e dekouraje jis pou tout tan. Wi, kite yo imilye e peri,
18 And let them know that your name is Lord; that you alone are Most High over all the earth.
pou yo kapab konnen ke se Ou menm sèl ki pote non “Bondye”, Pi Wo sou tout tè a.
