Psalms 77
1 For the end, for Idithun, a Psalm of Asaph. I cried to the Lord with my voice, yes, my voice [was addressed] to God; and he gave heed to me.
Estaba clamando a Dios con mi voz; a Dios clamé con mi voz, y él me escuchó.
2 In the day of mine affliction I earnestly sought the Lord; [even] with my hands by night before him, and I was not deceived; my soul refused to be comforted.
En el día de mi aflicción, mi corazón se volvió hacia el Señor: mi mano estaba extendida en la noche sin descanso; mi alma rehusaba ser consolada.
3 I remembered God, and rejoiced; I poured out my complaint, and my soul fainted. (Pause)
Mantendré a Dios en la memoria, con sonidos de dolor; mis pensamientos están turbados, y mi espíritu está vencido. (Selah)
4 All mine enemies set a watch [against me]: I was troubled, and spoke not.
Mantienes mis ojos del sueño; Estoy tan preocupado que no llegan las palabras.
5 I considered the days of old, and remembered ancient years.
Mis pensamientos se remontan a los días del pasado, a los años que ya pasaron.
6 And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, [saying],
El recuerdo de mi canción vuelve a mí en la noche; y meditaba en mi corazón; mi espíritu se preguntaba.
7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be well pleased no more?
¿El Señor me apartará para siempre? ¿Ya no será amable?
8 Will he cut off his mercy for ever, even for ever and ever?
¿Su misericordia se ha ido para siempre? tiene su palabra a nada?
9 Will God forget to pity? or will he shut up his compassions in his wrath? (Pause)
¿Ha olvidado Dios el recuerdo de su compasión? ¿Sus misericordias son cerradas por su ira? (Selah)
10 And I said, Now I have begun; this is the change of the right hand of the Most High.
Y dije: Es un peso sobre mi espíritu; pero tendré en cuenta los años de la diestra del Altísimo.
11 I remembered the works of the Lord; for I will remember your wonders from the beginning.
Tendré en cuenta las obras de JAH: mantendré el recuerdo de tus maravillas pasadas.
12 And I will meditate on all your works, and will consider your doings.
Pensaré en todo tus obras. mientras mi mente repasa tus actos de poder.
13 O God, your way is in the sanctuary; who is a great God as our God?
Tu camino, oh Dios, es santo: ¿Que dios es tan grande como nuestro Dios?
14 You are the God that do wonders; you have made known your power among the nations.
Tú eres el Dios que hace obras de poder; has hecho clara tu fuerza para las naciones.
15 You have with your arm redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Pause)
Con tu brazo has hecho libre a tu pueblo, los hijos de Jacob y José. (Selah)
16 The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you, and feared; and the depths were troubled.
Te vieron las aguas, oh Dios; las aguas te vieron, tenían miedo; incluso el abismo estaba turbado.
17 [There was] an abundant sound of waters: the clouds uttered a voice; for your arrows went abroad.
Las nubes enviaron agua; los cielos emitían un sonido; y relámpagos por todas partes.
18 The voice of your thunder was abroad, and around your lightnings appeared to the world; the earth trembled a quaked.
La voz de tu trueno comenzó a rodar; el mundo estaba ardiendo con la luz de la tormenta; la tierra estaba temblando.
19 Your way is in the sea, and your paths in many waters, and your footsteps can’t be known.
Tu camino estaba en el mar, y tu camino en las grandes aguas; no había conocimiento de tus pasos.
20 You did guide your people as sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
Estabas guiando a tu pueblo como un rebaño, por la mano de Moisés y Aarón.
