Psalms 76
1 For the end, among the Hymns, a Psalm for Asaph; a Song for the Assyrian. God is known in Judea: his name is great in Israel.
Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah. Neginoth ah sak koi Asaph ih Saam laa. Judah prae ah Sithaw to panoek o; Anih ih ahmin loe Israel prae ah amthang parai.
2 And his place has been in peace, and his dwelling-place in Sion.
Ani ih kahni im loe Salem ah oh, anih oh ohhaih ahmuen loe Zion mae ah oh.
3 There he broke the power of the bows, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. (Pause)
To ahmuen ah kalii, palaanawk, angvaenghaih sumsen, misatukhaih hmuennawk to na paro pae boih boeh. (Selah)
4 You do wonderfully shine forth from the everlasting mountains.
Nang loe moinawk prathaih maenawk pongah doeh na len moe, na hoih kue.
5 All the simple ones in heart were troubled; all the men of wealth have slept their sleep, and have found nothing in their hands.
Misahoih kaminawk to lomh o boeh; iih angmuethaih mah nihcae to muek boeh; thacak kaminawk mi mah doeh nihcae ih ban to hnu o ai.
6 At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, the riders on horses slumbered.
Aw Jakob Sithaw, na thuitaekhaih rang hoiah hrang lakok hoi hrangnawk to na iihsak muen boeh.
7 You are terrible; and who shall withstand you, because of your anger?
Zit han koi kaom loe nang khue ni; palung na phui naah mi maw na hmaa ah angdoe thai tih?
8 You did cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
Na lokcaekhaih to van hoiah na taphong;
9 when God arose to judgment, to save all the meek in heart. (Pause)
long nui ih poeknaem kaminawk to pahlong boih hanah, Sithaw mah lokcaek han angdoet tahang naah, long loe zit moe, angam sut. (Selah)
10 For the inward thought of man shall give thanks to you: and the memorial of his inward thought shall keep a feast to you.
Tangtang ni palungphui kaminawk mah nang to saphaw o tih; kadip thai ai palungphuihaih mah nang to zaeng tih.
11 Vow, and pay [your vows] to the Lord our God; all that are round about him shall bring gifts, [even] to him that is terrible,
Na Angraeng Sithaw khaeah na lokkamhaih to akoepsak ah; ataeng ah kaom kaminawk boih mah zit kaom anih khaeah, tangqumnawk to sin o nasoe.
12 and that takes away the spirits of princes; to him that is terrible among the kings of the earth.
Anih mah angraengnawk ih poekhaih to pahnaem pae tih; anih loe long siangpahrangnawk hanah zit thoh.
