Psalms 76
1 For the end, among the Hymns, a Psalm for Asaph; a Song for the Assyrian. God is known in Judea: his name is great in Israel.
Ang Dios ginaila sa Juda: Sa Israel daku ang iyang ngalan.
2 And his place has been in peace, and his dwelling-place in Sion.
Sa Salem usab atua ang iyang tabernaculo, Ug ang iyang puloy-anan atua sa Sion.
3 There he broke the power of the bows, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. (Pause)
Didto gipamali niya ang mga udyong sa pana; Ang taming, ug ang espada, ug ang gubat. (Selah)
4 You do wonderfully shine forth from the everlasting mountains.
Mahimayaon ikaw ug halangdon, Gikan sa kabukiran sa pangayam.
5 All the simple ones in heart were troubled; all the men of wealth have slept their sleep, and have found nothing in their hands.
Ang mga mabaskug sa kasingkasing gipangagawan, (Sila) nahinanok sa ilang pagkatulog; Ug walay bisan usa sa mga tawong kusgan nga nakakaplag sa ilang mga kamot.
6 At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, the riders on horses slumbered.
Sa imong pagbadlong, Oh Dios ni Jacob, Silang duruha, ang carro ug ang kabayo gipanghulog ngadto sa usa ka pagkatulog nga ikamatay.
7 You are terrible; and who shall withstand you, because of your anger?
Ikaw, bisan ikaw gayud, ang angay pagakahadlokan; Ug kinsa man ang makabarug sa imong pagtan-aw sa diha nga sa makausa ikaw masuko?
8 You did cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
Gikan sa langit gipadungog mo ang paghukom; Ang yuta nahadlok, ug mihilum,
9 when God arose to judgment, to save all the meek in heart. (Pause)
Sa diha nga ang Dios mobangon sa paghukom, Aron sa pagluwas sa tanang mga maaghup sa yuta. (Selah)
10 For the inward thought of man shall give thanks to you: and the memorial of his inward thought shall keep a feast to you.
Sa pagkamatuod gayud ang kaligutgut sa tawo magadayeg kanimo: Ang nahabilin sa imong kaligutgut imong igabakus sa ibabaw nimo.
11 Vow, and pay [your vows] to the Lord our God; all that are round about him shall bring gifts, [even] to him that is terrible,
Manaad, ug mamayad kamo kang Jehova nga inyong Dios: Padad-a ug mga gasa kadtong tanan nga nanaglibut ngadto kaniya nga takus pagakahadlokan.
12 and that takes away the spirits of princes; to him that is terrible among the kings of the earth.
Pagaputlon niya ang espiritu sa mga principe: Siya mao ang gikalisangan sa mga hari sa yuta.
