Psalms 75
1 For the end, Destroy not, a Psalm of a Song for Asaph. We will give thanks to you, O God, we will give thanks, and call upon your name: I will declare all your wonderful works.
| لِقَائِدِ الْمُنْشِدِينَ عَلَى لَا تُهْلِكْ. مَزْمُورٌ لآسَافَ تَسْبِيحَةٌ نَحْمَدُكَ يَا اللهُ نَحْمَدُكَ، لأَنَّ اسْمَكَ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ شَعْبِكَ الَّذِي يُخْبِرُ بِمَا صَنَعْتَ مِنْ عَجَائِبَ. | ١ |
2 When I shall take a set time, I will judge righteously.
| يَقُولُ اللهُ: «أَنَا أَخْتَارُ مِيعَادِي وَبِالإِنْصَافِ أَنَا أَقْضِي. | ٢ |
3 The earth is dissolved, and all that dwell in it: I have strengthened its pillars. (Pause)
| عِنْدَمَا تَهْتَزُّ الأَرْضُ وَمَا فِيهَا مِنْ أَحْيَاءَ، أَنَا مَنْ يُوَطِّدُ أَرْكَانَهَا. | ٣ |
4 I said to the transgressors, Do not transgress; and to the sinners, Lift not up the horn.
| أَقُولُ لِلْمُتَغَطْرِسِينَ: لَا تَتَفَاخَرُوا فِيمَا بَعْدُ، | ٤ |
5 Lift not up your horn on high; speak not unrighteousness against God.
| وَللأَشْرَارِ: لَا تَتَشَامَخُوا بِرُؤُوسِكُمْ وَلَا تَتَكَلَّمُوا بِأَعْنَاقٍ مُتَصَلِّفَةٍ». | ٥ |
6 For [good comes] neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert mountains.
| فَإِنَّ الرِّفْعَةَ لَا تَأْتِي مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَلَا مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ. وَلَا مِنَ الشِّمَالِ وَلَا مِنَ الْجَنُوبِ. | ٦ |
7 For God is the judge; he puts down one, and raises up another.
| فَاللهُ هُوَ الدَّيَّانُ، يَرْفَعُ وَاحِداً وَيَخْفِضُ آخَرَ. | ٧ |
8 For [there is] a cup in the hand of the Lord, full of unmingled wine; and he has turned [it] from side to side, but its dregs have not been wholly poured out; all the sinners of the earth shall drink [them].
| فِي يَدِ الرَّبِّ كَأْسُ خَمْرٍ مُزْبِدَةٍ مَمْزُوجَةٍ. يَصُبُّهَا فَيَشْرَبُهَا كُلُّ الأَشْرَارِ حَتَّى ثُمَالَتِهَا. | ٨ |
9 But I will exult for ever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
| أَمَّا أَنَا فَلَنْ أَكُفَّ عَنِ الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ إِلَهِ يَعْقُوبَ. أُرَنِّمُ لَهُ دَائِماً. | ٩ |
10 And I will break all the horns of sinners; but the horns of the righteous one shall be exalted.
| يُحَطِّمُ قُوَّةَ الشِّرِّيرِ، أَمَّا قُوَّةُ الْبَارِّ فَتَعْظُمُ. | ١٠ |
