Psalms 64

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O God, when I make my petition to you; deliver my soul from fear of the enemy.

೧ಪ್ರಧಾನಗಾಯಕನ ಕೀರ್ತನ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು; ದಾವೀದನ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಶತ್ರುಭಯದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸು.

2 You have sheltered me from the conspiracy of them that do wickedly; from the multitude of them that work iniquity;

೨ದುಷ್ಟರ ಒಳಸಂಚಿಗೂ, ಕೆಡುಕರ ಗುಪ್ತ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಂತೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಭದ್ರಪಡಿಸು.

3 who have sharpened their tongues as a sword; they have bent their bow maliciously;

೩ಅವರು ನಾಲಿಗೆಯೆಂಬ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಸೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ವಿಷವಚನವೆಂಬ ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಹೂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

4 to shoot in secret at the blameless; they will shoot him suddenly, and will not fear.

೪ಗುಪ್ತಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಸಜ್ಜನನಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವೂ ಹೆದರದೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಎಸೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.

5 They have set up for themselves an evil matter, they have given counsel to hide snares; they have said, Who shall see them?

೫ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ, “ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡೋಣ; ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವರು ಯಾರು?” ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

6 They have searched out iniquity; they have wearied themselves with searching diligently, a man shall approach and the heart is deep,

೬ಅವರು, “ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಉಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರ ಹೃದಯವೂ, ಅಂತರಂಗದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯೂ ಅಶೋಧ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ.

7 and God shall be exalted, their wounds were [caused by] the weapon of the foolish children,

೭ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಎಸೆಯಲು, ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗಾಯವಾಗುವುದು.

8 and their tongues have set him at nothing, all that saw them were troubled;

೮ಅವರ ನಾಲಿಗೆಗಳೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿಘ್ನವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಎಡವಿಬೀಳುವರು; ಆಗ ನೋಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ತಲೆ ಅಲ್ಲಾಡಿಸಿ ಅಣಕಿಸುವರು.

9 and every man was alarmed, and they related the works of God, and understood his deeds.

೯ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ದೇವರ ಕೆಲಸವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಆತನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

10 The righteous shall rejoice in the Lord, and hope on him, and all the upright in heart shall be praised.

೧೦ಸದ್ಭಕ್ತರು ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲಿ ಆನಂದಪಟ್ಟು ಆತನನ್ನೇ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಸರಳಹೃದಯದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಿಗ್ಗುವರು.
