< Psalms 64 >

1 For the end, a Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O God, when I make my petition to you; deliver my soul from fear of the enemy.

2 You have sheltered me from the conspiracy of them that do wickedly; from the multitude of them that work iniquity;
to hide me from counsel be evil from scheming to work evil: wickedness
3 who have sharpened their tongues as a sword; they have bent their bow maliciously;
which to sharpen like/as sword tongue their to tread arrow their word bitter
4 to shoot in secret at the blameless; they will shoot him suddenly, and will not fear.
to/for to shoot in/on/with hiding complete suddenly to shoot him and not to fear
5 They have set up for themselves an evil matter, they have given counsel to hide snares; they have said, Who shall see them?
to strengthen: hold to/for them word: deed bad: evil to recount to/for to hide snare to say who? to see: see to/for them
6 They have searched out iniquity; they have wearied themselves with searching diligently, a man shall approach and the heart is deep,
to search injustice to finish plot to search and entrails: inner parts man and heart deep
7 and God shall be exalted, their wounds were [caused by] the weapon of the foolish children,
and to shoot them God arrow suddenly to be wound their
8 and their tongues have set him at nothing, all that saw them were troubled;
and to stumble him upon them tongue their to wander all to see: see in/on/with them
9 and every man was alarmed, and they related the works of God, and understood his deeds.
and to fear: revere all man and to tell work God and deed: work his be prudent
10 The righteous shall rejoice in the Lord, and hope on him, and all the upright in heart shall be praised.
to rejoice righteous in/on/with LORD and to seek refuge in/on/with him and to boast: boast all upright heart
