Psalms 61

1 For the end, among the Hymns of David. O God, listen to my petition; attend to my prayer.

Oh ʼElohim, oye mi clamor. Atiende mi súplica.

2 From the ends of the earth have I cried to you, when my heart was in trouble: you lifted me up on a rock you did guide me:

Cuando mi corazón desmaya, Clamo a Ti desde el extremo de la tierra: Llévame a la Roca que es más alta que yo.

3 because you were my hope, a tower of strength from the face of the enemy.

Porque Tú fuiste mi Refugio, Torre fuerte contra el enemigo.

4 I will dwell in your tabernacle for ever; I will shelter myself under the shadow of your wings. (Pause)

Permite que yo viva en tu Tabernáculo para siempre Y que me refugie al amparo de tus alas. (Selah)

5 For you, o God, have heard my prayers; you have given an inheritance to them that fear your name.

Porque Tú, ʼElohim, oíste mis votos. Diste heredad a los que temen tu Nombre.

6 You shall add days to the days of the king; [you shall lengthen] his years to all generations.

Prolongarás la vida del rey. Sus años serán como muchas generaciones.

7 He shall endure for ever before God: which of them will seek out his mercy and truth?

Estará para siempre delante de ʼElohim. Prepara misericordia y verdad para que lo preserven.

8 So will I sing to your name for ever and ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

Así cantaré alabanza a tu Nombre para siempre, A fin de pagar mis votos cada día.
