Psalms 60

1 For the end, for them that shall yet be changed; for an inscription by David for instruction, when he [had] burned Mesopotamia of Syria, and Syria Sobal, and Joab [had] returned and struck [in] the valley of salt twelve thousand. O God, you have rejected and destroyed us; you have been angry, yet have pitied us.

ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ಷೂಷನ್ ಎದೂತೆಂಬ ರಾಗವನ್ನು ಆಧರಿಸಿದೆ. ದಾವೀದನ ಮಿಕ್ಟಮ್ ಹಾಡಿನ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ. ಪರಾಜಿತರು ದೈವೋತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಆಧಾರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವುದು. ಯೋವಾಬನು ಉಪ್ಪಿನ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಸಾವಿರ ಎದೋಮ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದಾಗ ದಾವೀದನು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕೀರ್ತನೆ. ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಾ? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಾ? ನಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡರೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪುನಃ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರಿ.

2 You have shaken the earth, and troubled it; heal its breaches, for it has been shaken.

ದೇಶವು ಕಂಪನಗೊಂಡು ಒಡೆದುಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಅದರ ಬಿರುಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಅದು ನಡುಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

3 You have shown your people hard things: you has made us drink the wine of astonishment.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಾವು ಭ್ರಮಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದವರಂತೆ ಆದೆವು.

4 You have given a token to them that fear you, that they might flee from the bow. (Pause)

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹಾರಿಸಬಹುದಾದ ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನೇ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.

5 That your beloved ones may be delivered; save with your right hand, and hear me.

ನೀವು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಲಗೈಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಿರಿ.

6 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, and divide Sicima, and measure out the valley of tents.

ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ: “ನಾನು ಜಯದಿಂದ ಶೆಕೆಮ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಂಚುವೆನು. ಸುಕ್ಕೋತಿನ ತಗ್ಗನ್ನು ಅಳತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

7 Galaad is mine, and Manasse is mine; and Ephraim is the strength of my head;

ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ನನ್ನದು; ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ನನ್ನದು, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ನನ್ನ ಶಿರಸ್ತ್ರಾಣ, ಯೆಹೂದವು ನನ್ನ ರಾಜದಂಡ.

8 Judas is my king; Moab is the caldron of my hope; over Idumea will I stretch out my shoe; the Philistines have been subjected to me.

ಮೋವಾಬ್ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ನಾನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯು, ಎದೋಮ್ ನನ್ನ ಕೆರಗಳ ಸ್ಥಳ. ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಜಯೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.”

9 Who will lead me into the fortified city? who will guide me as far a Idumea?

ಕೋಟೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆತರುವವರು ಯಾರು? ಎದೋಮಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುವವರು ಯಾರು?

10 Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our forces?

ದೇವರೇ, ಈಗ ನೀವು ನಮ್ಮ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೊರಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರೋ?

11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the deliverance of man.

ವೈರಿಗಳ ವಿರೋಧ ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಿರಿ. ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಹಾಯವು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ.

12 In God will we do valiantly; and he shall bring to nothing them that harass us.

ದೇವರಿಂದ ನಾವು ಜಯ ಹೊಂದುವೆವು. ದೇವರೇ ನಮ್ಮ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ತುಳಿದುಬಿಡುವರು.
