< Psalms 54 >
1 For the end, among Hymns of instruction by David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Behold, is not David hid with us? Save me, O God, by your name, and judge me by your might.
Katoeng kruek kaminawk hanah. David ih Maskil. Ziph kaminawk Saul khaeah caeh o moe, Kaicae salakah David anghawk na ai maw? tiah a naa o nathuem ih. Aw Sithaw, na hmin hoiah na pahlong ah, na thacakhaih rang hoiah lok na caek ah.
2 O God, hear my prayer; listen to the words of my mouth.
Aw Sithaw, lawk ka thuihaih hoi ka thuih ih loknawk hae tahngai ah.
3 For strangers have risen up against me, and mighty men have sought my life: they have not set God before them. (Pause)
Panoek ai ih kaminawk loe kai tuk hanah angthawk o, tahmenhaih tawn ai kaminawk loe, ka hinghaih to pakrong o: nihcae loe Sithaw mikhmai khethaih tawn o ai. (Selah)
4 For behold! God assists me; and the Lord is the helper of my soul.
Khenah, Sithaw loe kai bomkung ah oh: Sithaw loe ka hinghaih patawn kaminawk khaeah oh.
5 He shall return evil to mine enemies; utterly destroy them in your truth.
Anih loe ka misanawk to sethaih hoiah lula pathok tih: na loktang lok hoiah nihcae to amrosak ah.
6 I will willingly sacrifice to you: I will give thanks to your name, O Lord; for [it is] good.
Ka koeh ih baktiah nang khaeah angbawnhaih to ka sak han: Aw Angraeng, na hmin pakoehhaih loe hoih pongah, nang to kang pakoeh han.
7 For you have delivered me out of all affliction, and mine eye has seen [my desire] upon mine enemies.
Ka raihaihnawk boih thung hoiah Ang pahlong pongah, ka misanawk to taahaih mik hoiah ka khet.
