< Psalms 47 >
1 For the end, a Psalm for the sons of Core. Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with a voice of exultation.
Koramma dwom. Amanaman nyinaa, mommɔ mo nsam; momfa anigye nteɛ mu mfrɛ Onyankopɔn.
2 For the Lord most high is terrible; [he is] a great king over all the earth.
Awurade Ɔsorosoroni no ho yɛ nwonwa, Ɔyɛ Ɔhene kɛse wɔ asase nyinaa so!
3 He has subdued the peoples under us, and the nations under our feet.
Ɔde amanaman hyɛɛ yɛn ase, na ɔde nnipa hyɛɛ yɛn anan ase.
4 He has chosen out his inheritance for us, the beauty of Jacob which he loved. (Pause)
Oyii yɛn agyapade maa yɛn, nea ɛyɛ Yakob a ɔdɔ no no ahohoahoade.
5 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with a sound of a trumpet.
Onyankopɔn aforo kɔ soro wɔ anigye nteɛteɛmu mu, Awurade wɔ torobɛnto nnyigyei mu.
6 Sing praises to our God, sing praises: sing praises to our King, sing praises.
To ayeyi nnwom ma Onyankopɔn, to ayeyi nnwom; to ayeyi nnwom ma yɛn Hene, to ayeyi nnwom.
7 For God is king of all the earth: sing praises with understanding.
Efisɛ Onyankopɔn yɛ asase nyinaa so Hene. Monto ahurusi nnwom mma no.
8 God reigns over the nations: God sits upon the throne of his holiness.
Onyankopɔn di hene wɔ amanaman no so; Onyankopɔn te nʼahengua kronkron so.
9 The rulers of the people are assembled with the God of Abraam: for God's mighty ones of the earth have been greatly exalted.
Amanaman no mu akunini boaboa wɔn ho ano sɛ Abraham Nyankopɔn nkurɔfo, efisɛ asase so ahemfo yɛ Onyankopɔn de; na wɔma no so kɛse.
